This is a nation on the brink of collapse and all you care about is the pronunciation of a name? Priorities my friend - they ARE important.
84
@tonycowin Because it's irrelevant to the matter. She couldn't handle the conversation and so directed towards a petty oversight and dismissed it. Respect is earned, not just given by demand. That works both ways.
57
Tell that to all the young women who believe it and parrot it not just in their words but in their behaviour.
37
It benefitted both. These days with both men and women competing against each other instead of complimenting each other - both have become quite miserable.
35
A General Election is an exercise in futility. You're simply replacing one face with another with the mindset ultimately the same.
22
Oh please, even choosing not to be Muslim is defined by them as "Islamaphobic" 😒
21
Psh had the demographics been reversed, she'd be calling it a protest of righteousness. We know where her priorities are rooted.
18
And who let them get there? I believe it was 13 years of Labour.
18
If she was old enough and smart enough to get on that plane, she was capable of making her own decisions. We've imprisoned kids far younger then her - stop making excuses.
17
The problem is less about online and more about parents not sitting down with their kids to teach them critical thinking and how to be actually sensible.
16
@WillaLamour Because that's exactly what they do when the roles are reversed; it's hypocrisy on both sides. We have neglected the traditional roles and for what? The delusions of feefees and an ego trip that ends in regret.
16
And Labour let them do it - how else could the Tories have gotten in, back in 2010.
15
@FRANKIECULLEN-r3g Because you think "Glorious Labour" are going to do things differently... man do people have a short term memory and even lesser means to think critically. If they did - they'd see that both sides are opposed only on paper: in reality they're all in on it.
15
@jimcourt9164 They're also more hateful and angrier then the very people they call out for hate and anger. Hilariously tragic that they don't see their own hypocrisy, isn't it. But on a more pertinent note - it really doesn't matter what party gets in at the election: the result is going to be the same. So long as the system exists, the exercising of acting in the illusion of democracy is an exercise in futility.
14
Slapping on a coronet whilst wearing designer outfits whilst spouting moral posture, doesn't make a monarch. When the best a ruler can do is offer convenient rationalisation for their inability to perform when they should, it leads to question whether the role is apt for keeping at all. I have sympathy as always for any family losing a loved one; doing so is human, but for a monarch who has done nothing in the calamities throughout their reign - I have no respect or loyalty.
14
Well maybe instead of calling your fellow Americans "waaaayycist" and so on when they voice concerns over matters - they wouldn't have turned to such a man. Deny people their voice and they'll retaliate.
14
Yet funnily enough - with more opportunities, the depression rate has only increased. As if the more "progress" we've made, the more problems we've created with it and it's only going to increase - an exercise in futility.
13
And we should be out. End of.
13
If thinking about the fact this nation didn't vote to jump into a political union looking to be another United States and the fact this nation was made weaker due to lack of self dependence and incompetence of government being justified by "following orders" from Brussels, makes me "Blindly following without thinking" then call me blind. The EU is a failed bloc trying to imitate what it is never going to be. And for the record I voted for my OWN reasons to leave and I'd do it again - not blindly, not thoughtlessly and certainly not cowardly like the bleeding heart remainers who didn't get their way and are STILL sulking.
12
And i don't blame him.
12
Eager to don the jackboots already? Believe it or not; not all of us voted leave based on the bs spouted. I voted leave for my own reasons and I'd do it again.
12
@mobsiesixsixsix9785 Ideological Subversion - there I answered for you. A process that has rendered the last several generations more and more inept, disinterested or distracted: take your pick.
12
@GB-Great-Again Speak for yourself. The Tories are no better then Labour - their only difference in operandi is method. And you want to know who to blame more? People who actually believe in voting with the belief the system works.
11
Oh cry me a river...
11
Oh here we go... more "Blame Brexit" bull...
11
@gerardsoppe Err they've been doing indiscriminate attacks for decades...
11
OK, YOU take her in at your own expense and take that risk and then we'll see how far your moral posturing really stands.
11
How very "Inclusive" of you...
10
Oh here we go... 🙄
10
@seancrowe3353 I can and do represent myself rather well as an Englishman and Brit. He can speak for himself and everyone else ought to be doing the same for themselves.
10
Or in other words; have parents ACTUALLY parent.
10
Desperate words of a coward who would rather tuck tail and obey the nazis in Brussels.
10
It's about one of the very select few times I actually find myself inclined to agree with James. If Andrew is guilty then by all means he ought to do the time for the crime.
9
Almost like you're being conditioned to lean one way and condemned when leaning the other...
9
Then that would mean EVERY politician. If you think there's a difference then you're clueless.
9
And replace with who... when all the MPs answer to the same masters who use the vote simply to garner the legal consent to act from the voters. I swear if I rolled my eyes any harder, the nerves would be torn right out.
8
That is the kind of tripe I would expect from someone who accepts everything they're told by establishment and obey every instruction given without ever questioning it. Quick one - define "conspiracy"
8
@patzan48 More like the last two thousand years.
8
@an9886 you call that having a mind - she hasn't, she's just an opportunist without the integrity enough to be at least honest about it. And this is coming from me: someone who abhors the RF and calls for its abolishment as well the revocation of any rights over the land it's claimed and in no way has earned.
8
@dianebrewington281 Why, because i happen to agree with a guy who wants that war to stop as opposed to the idiot who just enabled the dictator to keep it going?
8
@segue2ant395 Men aren't predominantly the ones taking women through the ringer for so much as talking to them in the wrong way.
8
There are no such thing as Palestinians.
8
It's lead to the worst government because people keep letting them get away with it. I didn't listen to the lies and bs spouted over Brexit - I voted Leave for my own reasons and unlike yourselves I don't regret my vote: I'd vote again the same way. You can all blame Brexit all you want, but you want the UK to improve then accept the fact you're responsible for yourselves and your governance.
8
At least they're honest. Those crying "Welcome them in! We want them!" Wouldn't even consider opening their own homes and take in a few at their own expense. No - they expect the rest of the country to pay so as to make them feel better for moral bystanding.
7
@chatham43 of course he didn't, he likes to bash but he's like all typical bleeding hearts - all show and no go.
7
@tonycowin Problem is - she's on a talkshow; kinda the point of it being that she gives him "The time of day" and seeing how his time like anyone else's is relatively short - the last thing she needs is to be pompous in diverting the attention away from the concern. He wasn't interested in respect, just about the point getting across.
7
@markshirley01 Psh, we've been poor ever since the 30s and the dropping of the gold standard. Europe hasn't fared any either since their "Euro" is based on the same fiscal debt we took up. You'd vote to have us take on 27 other country's debt again. Well done you.
7
Pulls out when knowing even attempting to explain is an exercise in futility. The world is so blatantly naive in the notion that a non-existent nation that actively invaded and attacked and then denied it's own citizens escape despite constant warnings, is somehow the victim.
7
@peterhausmann8337 Alyssa Milano said similar during the BLM uproar and yet immediately backtracked when it came knocking at her door. I say this as a descendant of a woman who's family were murdered in those camps.
7
Proportional representation doesn't work and never will, just as the bi-partisan parliamentary system we use doesn't. And it doesn't work simply because democracy is the illusion of involvement and the consenting of what's not spoken of when the options are presented.
