Regardless, it was Israeli forces that started attacking unarmed civilians, and provoked conflict by forcibly displacing ordinary people from their homes. Criticize Hamas all you want, but they don't cause everything, and they certainly don't exist in a vacuum.

There's debate but it's against other candidates. Campaigning doesn't happen when senators are in session and vice versa. They require different things.
