both-sides-ism is toxic
8
I've heard it called "price innovation"
8
@DonaldAJr DINO is too Trumpian for my taste. I'd just call a spade a spade and say they're crooks.
8
@cwx8 Climate = patterns Weather = instances It's literally the same data with a different scope.
8
Strange how having faith doesn't make uttering nonsense okay...or wait no, that's entirely straightforward.
8
@whysocurious7366 That's just anti-freedom.
8
I mean, it is support for apartheid...
8
His ilk is why WV has been trending right. People there don't even agree with his policies for the most part.
8
@wilhelmtaylor9863 copium
8
@cptathensjohnclaba8705 Of all the people to blame you go with that...what twisted grudge you must hold.
8
@SandraCat22 pettiness as a political virtue, how bold of you
8
@JoJo-vg8dz toddler
8
kinda, but there is a progressive caucus within one of its wings and that's the closest thing to a third party that can exist in the two-party-but-actually-kinda-like-one-party system.
8
@sprockkets Time traveling alien Zeus is real then. Cool.
8
@WhyNotTruth Context matters is another thing Carlin said, and it relates directly to what "the line" is referring to.
8
"It's basic economics", said nobody who has an actual point to make--ever.
8
@cabbagedestroyer1693 closest I can find is 43% NDP voters expressing sympathy, not support
8
Then pick the working class option, the NDP, instead of the red or blue flavors of neoliberalism.
8
@mr12aT This channel has covered the 'how' multiple times. The info is everywhere. I will not hold your hand as your pretend to not understand.

best take
7
@kaavi1391 all edge, no point you're just trolling
7
The only real choice in healthcare is whether or not to have a functional system. Private healthcare is a complete failure everywhere it is tried.
7
@loveandpeace8148 grow up
7
I take it that means they have some say in how it is run then.
7
@Wiggy321 His "success" comes from abusing his position as a public servant. If someone becomes a representative then they should forgo personal interests because that's literally the job description.
7
@kaths9075 supporting the working class party is a better option than fatalism
7
I don't know whether to assume he's dumb enough to not realize what he's dogwhistling, or if he's trying to pull an O'Toole and become more like the other party that is allowed to win federally.
7
@sunkillsmoon it's called accuracy
7
@forresthinkson910 I don't think Poland in WW2 is similar to Ukraine now. Nor have the invasions progressed all that similarly. Ukraine has put up a highly effective resistance, but sweeping through the undeveloped countryside should have been relatively easy for Russia. Their air superiority should have been a given. Instead they faced immediate supply shortages and morale problems. It is not going well for Putin.
7
all the better to dogwhistle with I suppose
7
Harper 2.0 but with more slogans and even less independent thought permitted in caucus
7
@Antonius Black Martial law is rule by military authority. You have no idea what words mean. Also, the convoy's demands are undemocratic and if they didn't want to be surveilled they shouldn't have begged for attention while starting a crime wave.
7
@user-xm8lo7wg5fBased on what? His stock is still crashing and he couldn't pay 175m without foreign aid.
7
@feelsgoodman9737 Your pfp and username are really selling us on the idea that you aren't just a right wing troll
7
And thus the cycle begins anew. If only people realized that disengaging isn't the answer and that they need to get more involved to make their voices louder.
7
"Canada last." Pierre Poutine
7
@PhantomFilmAustralia championed it how?
7
@wilsonchang2294 Not even apples and oranges, just outright false equivalency
7
same
7
Numbers go up and the working class feels nothing. Numbers go down and the working class shoulders the entire burden.
7
most benign thing ever labelled a threat
7
Not quite as effective as gagging Mullin, but we'll take what we can get.
7
@kevinschmidt2210 Or you're delusional and it's too hard to defend a scam that you like.
7
They keep thinking their problem is a lack of access to guns, as though the danger of guns being everywhere is just the climate where they live. 'It rains, the Sun shines, there are guns everywhere.'
7
There is an irrational and entirely unexplained dislike for NDP even tho the policies best reflect what we want. It's the Patrick wallet meme. You get people saying yes to the entire platform then show them that it's the NDP and they go 'no that's not my party.'
7
@WhyNotTruth What "the line" refers to reminds me of another Carlin sentiment that it's the context that matters.
7
spot on
7
@user-lc5hr2pe1b Nobody sane is talking about such nonsense either. Gtfo troll.
7
@ecclesiastesThreeVerseSeven seek counselling
7
@matthewwatkins6616 Except for the part where his approval level is terrible, even negative in many provinces. People need to stop acting like winning a majority with 30-40% of the vote equals majority support.
