  9. Due to the racist society we live in, you will find that many non-Caucasian people choose to overlook racism, especially if it is not extreme, in order to make life easier. It's sad but I guess for some people it is necessary and I know that even I have had to overlook racism at times. If you believe that they are working in a similar vein to the aforementioned people, then you will admit that they are using racial imagery, even if in your opinion, it is just to challenge racism.

Because black people are already black and by using blackface, are simply exaggerating a particular aesthetic in the typical minstrel way, it couldn't really be considered racist. Plenty of their songs have lyrics about fucking and the rest just have stupid lyrics that are in no way better than the lyrics of mainstream pop or rap songs. Most rappers that claim to be from the 'ghetto' are probably using it as an exaggeration of their poor upbringing rather than actually claiming they've grown up there.
