This is the entire point about the double irony that underlies the existential wrestling between Ozymandias and Dr. Manhattan.   30. This movie unsettled me so deeply as a black Canadian man, when I went to watch it in theathers back to 2018. Every black viewer was speaking loud, laughing, backing off their seats and reacting with profound dread and frustration to the subtleties and trappings that most of the wh*te folks in the same room didn't get by the manner they were looking at us in utter confusion.
