  28. Sure zombies can be a thing. Put a modern version of that chip that was tested on a bull way back in 1963 by Jose Delgado into a human eh voila, you have a remote-controlled zombie. Unless the chip or brain itself becomes very damaged they don't even need to be alive and undamaged to still walk, at least until rigor mortis is happening. Depending on the complexity of the chip and it's connections the brain or even whole head can be removed via shotgun and they will still function for a time (assuming chip bypasses the brain and is directly connected to the spinal cord). I'm surprised the military hasn't done this already to extend the usefulness of dead soldiers on battlefields.

I'm not picky when it comes to race in itself, but more melanin = more visibility for stretch marks, since the scar tissue tends to be lighter than the surrounding skin and gives more contrast. I suppose now that I think about it that's an indirect reason why I prefer pale skin over tans. While some sunlight is necessary for vitamin D (a few mins a day at most) tanning is actually bad for you anyway (I think of it as an under-skin scab). It increases chances of skin cancer and makes you get wrinkles and in need of a plastic surgeon far earlier than you should be.

I can hardly wait for genetic enhancement to be a thing, I'll be at the front of the line for that too. But really at the end of the day it's all about priorities. If most people choose dumb shit like kids and families (over $10k per year per kid) to where they can't afford laser treatments too but choose the former that's on them.
