That's what imperialism does. Charles Manson never poisoned my drinking water, neither did he tear gas my relatives for complaining about it. Manson never bombed other countries, turning their children into a red mist, for the resources. He never denied us healthcare, education, living wages or forced us to live on a planet that's on fire. Until we address the imperialism, militarism, racism, ecocide and genocide that the US perpetuates on a daily basis, then there is no freedom within it's borders.
