Not a single soul in this comment section has any facts about what actually happened. If my "significant other" walked off, and stopped calling her family, would I somehow be obliged to deal with them? A lack of interest is not proof of anything other than a relationship ending, and under no circumstance should anyone ever talk to the cops about anything. You lock your lips and wait for the lawyer to do the talking.
