You would need to call his shop to set an appointment.
2
You'd have to contact his shop.
2
@rightlanehog3151 Mine is RWD so, hopefully he doesn't give me a hard time. 😄
2
Going to his shop in May with my GS F-Sport, hope he doesn't kick me out of there. 😃
2
@RustyZipper There was some video evidence in a previous vid. can't remember which one. He's running out of room at that place.
2
You'd be surprised how many people ship their cars cross country to have him service their cars.
2
Scan this channels back content, he did a video on that car.
2
Smart man! 👍
2
YES, on the video endings, it's interesting to see what's going on with clients cars in the shop. Is it just me or, does the gage of the outer cable seem small even though it lasted this many years?! I just wonder if Toyota used a heavier gage cable if there would be more longevity to it?! Of course it's always why ask why on how manufacturers design some things on cars.
2
Amd doesn't do aftermarket performance add ons on his channel. Check out {YouTuber -Victor G Automotive} I think he has some info on adding superchargers to Toyota's. I stumbled onto his channel the other day.
2
He had mentioned in the previous LS video about dry ice cleaning this car. I'm sure Chicago Auto Pro's will set him up on that. Matt @ OG is the master at car detailing and I'm a big fan of his channel too.
2
I'm hoping he might be interested in filming my 18 GS when I take it to him next spring.
2
He's in the Chicagoland area so I'd suspect it lives there since Illinois uses a lot of salt on the roads.
2
@highwayman1218 I'm 60 and mine get worse every year, it sucks.
2
I'd check with your dealer, they should have that info. or possibly that info is online somewhere.
2
@crow_2k11beatsbydre8 Like we'd take your word over Amd's professional opinion?
2
@dharley189 Especially the open element filters.
2
They're all great and very nice. It's always a fun experience every time I go to his shop.
2
He bought it for video content for his channel in case the engine does go south. Trust me the video hits on it would be off the charts in case God forbid it does happen.
2
@davidsdean He has a vid on here about a Camry that had 10k changes from new, motor was toast after a 150k miles.
2
Neighbor has a 21 Corolla with 40k on the clock and only changed oil 3 times. I tried to tell him but, he wouldn't listen.
2
He's already aware of that.
2
Only time will tell. That's why when I buy a new car I always buy the last of the generation. I don't have to be the first one on the block with the newly released platform.
2
You mean like Hoovie?
2
Wish I could've not gotten the sunroof option on my 14 & 18 Lexus but they were standard unfortunately. They're such a useless feature.
2
Before all the dash gadgets it was cell phones and still is, been hit 4 times by cell driver's.
2
I just got one too, ya never have to worry that your funnel will fall out.
2
I totally get your frustration but, an eye for an eye is never a good thing.
2
I would buy from any legitimate online Toyota parts dealer, they're typically always cheaper than your local dealer. I buy all my parts from Bell Lexus of Scottsdale and amazed at how much cheaper they are.
2
@fleetwin1 I hear ya
2
Ha, me too, We park a mile out to avoid getting the grocery store measles. Not a one yet on both of my Lexus's and one is 11 years old. Ya have to hunt out the spot that no one else wants to park plus, it's good exercise.
2
I've always had excellent luck ordering online from Bell Lexus of Scottsdale and their prices are always cheaper than my local dealer.
2
He shared the reason when he was cleaning them in the video.
2
One of his vids. he stated it's not needed.
2
Word has it that she's secretly off roading the trails to prove that a GX is better than a Jeep thing!
2
Me too
2
That's so true, he should patent his voice for a sleeping device. 😁
2
Me too, I live 150 miles from his place.
2
400k, that's awesome, congrats to you!
2
Great tire, I'm buying those next for my RX.
2
I would. You'd have to ask yourself, what are they hiding if they won't let you get a PPI!?
2
Ha, I'm from Peoria too and he services my cars also.
2
Isn't that the truth.
2
Can you give us some history on your LS and what state it lives in since it's rust free? What an exquisite example!
2
14 RX here and it's been the best car I've ever owned in my 45 years of driving. Drove GM because pops worked for them and he always told me if I ever drive an import my part of his will is going to the Russians. 😁
2
@Rjjvor Check into a dent wizard to see if they can push it out, those guys do amazing work.
2
Can the owner give us some history on this LS if he is watching and does it live in Illinois? Great vid. Amd!
2
Don't know if he'll answer but I don't think you could go wrong with that one. I'm assuming it has the V6 engine?! My 2 Lexus's have that engine and I've had zero issues with either one. They're a 14 and an 18. Just have the car checked thoroughly prior to purchase.
2
I have an 18 GS also. I wish it had some of the cool features that the IS includes. If my GS ever gets damaged, I'll be getting the IS F-sport if it's still being made. It would really take some getting used to being it's a smaller car.
2
I drive a 150 miles to his shop, worth every penny.
