  2. the think with mr beast is that he basically created a virtuous cycle - spend money to make people lives better and film it - upload the filmed video to youtube - monetize the video and get money from youtube - spend that money he got from youtube to make even more people lives better film it and repeat its a way on how he can contuie giving people money and help them while also bringing awareness to those issues to a wide audience who might then also be willing to help

I have noticed recently a strange trend... most ppl who have masters and phds and with zero work experience trying to enter into the work force don't seem to be able to handle 9-5 of work, can't handle projects with real world issues and let's not even talk abt urgent or EOD deadlines. And to make matters worse they think they are not good at these entry level jobs because they deserve a higher position .....me and my co-workers look at each other and go -- every one has a degree here. I work in the government and work with some managers who back in the day started straight out of high school but earned their up --- in all honesty most organizations have their own culture and alot can be learned on the job so don't feel afraid to apply to any job as long as you have the right attitude you can go far.

Tbh, if you have multiple degrees, it tells me two things: You think having multiple degrees will get you higher in a corporate career, or you picked a degree that you wasn't so interested in, realized you suck at it completely in a job, then when to get another degree. Or third, you didn't get experience or socialize

  6. I'm 52 been doing software engineering for the last 35 years, suddenly I cannot find any work at all since 2022, you would think my experience is valuable but so much of the economy has been consolidated that maybe 1/3 of people who need a job can find one.

  14. Thanks for making this video. As a white American lady, I'm not sure how I got this vid recommended to me, but I'm glad it was! I have to say that this reminds me of a few stories told to me by my Indian boyfriend. He laughs at a story from when he was a kid, and his mother locked his young teenaged older brother out of the house all night because he came home late, and I emphatically told him I was not allowing that to happen to my child. He reacted very neutrally. He probably somewhat thought that it was normal, or it was Indian or something--or just, because it's from the past, it's okay to laugh? But nah, shaming and keeping them locked out of the house is a big nope! (That said, he does agree with me when I talk about a hypothetical child; it's just this weird thing that he laughs at stuff like this--also teachers hitting a fellow student when he was in school--and I never laugh).

  15. Everyone keep in mind; high paying, skilled or salary jobs (think 90-100k and above) are often going to internal employees or relatives or friends of the higher ups. They simply have to post the job listing in order to avoid lawsuits.

  16. At this point all the signs point towards starting your own business or focusing on side hustles even though it shouldn't be this way. Side hustles have become a necessity. The optimistic part is that companies are paying such low wages that it is probably not too difficult for your side hustles to exceed what they're offering. At least that's what I hope, I'm yet to achieve this. Fingers crossed for everybody.

  23. Look for jobs with tuition reimbursement as a benefit. They will pay for part of your education as part of their employee benefit program. Most employees don't take advantage of it and lots of people don't look for that in a company.

Health care, education, safety, great food, and employment. Problem is that they have very tough immigration policy. But, just like I mentioned before ñ, South Korea. Sorry, America and Canada used to be great. No longer and they are turning to ve very close to a third world countries.

  28. My daughter is in tech on a ten member team. She has an unscheduled meeting pop up with her director on her day off and she asks me to come over to help babysit her toddler because she thinks she might be getting laid off. Her phone blows up from the other 9 members on her team whose positions were all eliminated (outsourced to India). Her director tells her the bad news that her job was eliminated but by some miracle they offered her another full time position in the company (she was working part time because of her baby). She dodged a bullet this time but it’s hanging over everyone’s head that you could get laid off at any time.

  34. for the sweet lady with the glasses who got done dirty. During this sexual harrasment investigation was there any footprint i.e. e-mails, phone converstions and texts? If so, an attorney could get a FOIA request to pull everyone of those regardless if they were deleted and they would be admissable in a court case. Their timing is not on thier side and is HIGHLY suspect. Some attorney's may take your case on contingency (fee based no $$ up front) IF you can prove that you were sexually harrased. If it was all in person harrassment then that cannot be proven without eyewitnesses willing to testify in open court or sign affidavits.

  35. College is supposed to help students secure careers in the world, regardless of the degree you have. You worked hard for that degree. It’s the college responsibility to make sure there’s a good chance to secure a career or paid internships that can lead to a career. If the college can’t help students secure jobs, that’s something the school has to work on because there’s no way in hell that you go to college and cannot secure a job after. They need to do a better job in helping students secure jobs. It’s always something, either you don’t have the education, you need the skills. You have the skills, but they also require the education. You have both, education and skills, but now do you have a certain amount of experience. Like it’s ridiculous.

  47. In America many Colleges and Universities are simply diploma mills. They exist to sustain middle class salary for College Professors and College administration whose specialty nobody needs.. Two things here. Either u should come from well to do family to get a good job or go to a prestigious school to get good/ solid training for your major.   50. Many employers offer $20 hour now like its a generous wage. I made $19 a hour as a PC technician for Gateway 2000...in the year 2000. Its laughable $25 hr is the new realistic survival wage in todays corporation price gouging reality.
