Shun that dealer permanently. No excuse for dealer markups anymore.
155
No way in hell , I’m not paying that kind of money for a midsize truck. Specially SR5 model
154
Good lord, $46k sticker for an average optioned mid size truck.
152
Out of their minds... let them sit on the lots
138
I don’t understand who can afford these trucks. There’s no way I’d take on a vehicle mortgage, and I’d rather chew shards of glass than take the money out of savings to pay cash for one. But I guess the definition of afford is subjective. 60+ grand for a midsize truck 🤦♂️
138
Spending that kind of money on a depreciating asset is not very smart. Who does this?
132
I like the exterior and interior of the new Tacoma. I hate the drivetrain and the msrp. Less cylinders for more money. Anything over $32k for this is a ripoff. How can you pay $46k plus for this and not feel absolute robbed driving off the lot. Yea, no thanks, hard pass.
129
I just quit my job as a master technician twenty years plus in the horrible trade no money nothing but problems and toxic toxic toxic people. NO MORE NEVER GOING BACK 😮
127
They need to lower the prices! WE WILL NOT STAND FOR $80k pick up trucks!
126
Garbage prices for garbage cars that wont even last as long as the loan term. Wait for the real Deals when 90% of these dealerships start going under with their mountain of lot rot. Why is every industry such a disgraceful fucking scam these days.
117
You reap what you sow... no sympathy here. Good technicians are always in demand... salesmen, not so much.
115
Blame the central banks for printing SO MUCH money. Blame politicians.
114
People don’t call them the stealership for nothing. They mark up the price is because they know 50 guys come in sniffing at it and one out of 50 will bite. They did their homework.
113
Priced too high. No way would I pay 60k for a small truck with a 4 banger and still gets bad fuel economy
112
Welcome to America, where literally every industry is now a scam from corporate greed
111
Considering how salesman rip people off I have no sympathy for them.
109
BMW is having issues because they look extremely ugly after the new chief designer 🤡 Domegoj Ducek took over in 2018. Thank god he was finally fired earlier this year.
107
Overpriced JUNK! keep them.
104
Love the Frontier but I refuse to pay the price they are asking. I don’t care if times have changed none of them are worth more then $30,000.
103
GMC = "Get more cash!"
96
501 days on the lot. That has to be some kind of record. Wake me up when this madness ends.
94
As an engineer, these land yachts are abominations designed by the market department to appeal to people with egos.
91
Damn my 21 Tacoma was 35k paid off and never getting a auto loan again . Couldn’t imagine paying 50-70k for a vehicle. I thought 35k was crazy 😂
90
You nailed it. I did 5 years at a dealer and almost starved to death. Everything you said I experienced. I retired in fleet maintenance, I'm glad my career is over.

My kid was a Euro ASE Master Tech with 20 years on the job at a German Luxury Car dealer and made well over $120K a year and finally got sick and tired of the young guys coming in that couldn't tie their shoes let alone diagnose with a computer what was wrong with a car and had to do it himself to keep the work moving. The other straw was the required stealing from customers with fake work, the management rational was that rich people don't really think too much about what fixing their very expensive car costs, they just pay it. So stealing from them was easy and required. He quit after 20+ years, never to return.

I am a Toyota guy but I've owned a few Fords... Explorer, Focus, and currently a Mustang. They were fun cars but have never been reliable. Stuff seems like it is always breaking. Wheel bearing, brake light switches, head gasket, timing chain guides... you name it. My Toyota starter finally failed at 250k miles. To even consider paying 100k for these cars is insane.
87
Had my new car serviced at the Toyota dealer, after I got home I opened the hood to check the oil and other things. I could tell the Tech rushed the service. The cap was left off the coolant reservoir container, I could smell coolant, thought I had a coolant leak. The rod that holds the hood up was not secured to the holder, just loose. Oil was overfilled past the max mark on the stick. Yes I believe techs are not paid fairly. Yes I believe techs skip some things and don’t do it correctly.
85
I cannot fathom paying these prices. The pandemic has passed. The supply chain is back. The greed tax is still in full swing.
84
That’s creepy Bro !!!! Not even management stood around to lock the dealership doors??? There’s more to this story !!!
80
Imagine if banks put reasonable credit limits on people based on their actual income. These prices would fall off a cliff. But no, they will let people borrow themselves into oblivion. So sad. 😢
79
I hate the car buying process.
78
I hate BMW! I don't know what I was thinking when I bought a new unreliable 325i in my 20's, which I kept for 11 years. And then here I go again, trading in the 325i for a new X5 right after. Both cars were so unreliable and the costs to maintain and repair was astronomically unethical. Both had electrical issues too. I missed so much time at work taking these cars at the BMW service center BMW's are junk. Do not get enticed by the design.
77
Service tech hourly rate: $25/hour Flat Rate Labor Charge: $185/hour
77
Whoever was in charge of this dealership is a complete idiot he ran it in the ground by tryin to fleece people serves them right
76
$46K + for a base work truck! Crazy! Shouldn't be anymore than $32K
76
The goal is to disappear the middle class downward and tax us into oblivion. Can you imagine 4 more years of this? Even owning a paid off truck is expensive. Insurance, maintenance, fuel, taxes etc.
76
Omg, thanks for reminding me why i pay cash for lexus vehicles with about 100k miles and drive them for 5 - 10 years. At 100k miles, i figure there's still a high probability that it will be more reliable, have more life left and my satisfaction will be higher than buying a pile of Euro or American made junk. Workin' great so far 👍
76
The V-8's in those vehicles use a Dynamic Fuel Management system--the engine fires on 2-8 cylinders. What could go wrong?
76
First rule of holes is if you are in one stop digging. Someone should send them a copy of that rule...
74
The addendum sticker is what you get at a scummy dealership.
74
This is why I buy private sale only. Bought a highly maintained Grand Marquis with 140,000 on the odometer 4 years ago for $1,500 it's still my daily. Last year I bought 93 K1500 in great condition with 120,000 original for $2,000. It's my wife's daily. And also an Acura MDX with 180,000 for $800 3 years ago. That one my daughter takes to college. Deals are out there, they just aren't at the dealerships. I own all 3 outright for about 5 months worth of car payments.
74
Toyota has become another garbage brand.
73
The problem is finding a dealership to service them because they live in the service department.
73
In my opinion, sedans are way cooler than SUV’s.
69
They still have markups on the remaining vehicles on that lot. 🤣
69
5 thousand dollar dealer markup! What a joke do not buy any vehicle with a dealer markup. EVER!!!
68
I’d go get a frontier.
67
2024 Mandatory Add On. Nothing pissed me off more than that.
67
These are about 10k to 15k to much honestly.
67
Greed is the culprit which will lead to their demise.
