Bullshit is just getting started.
15
Biggest problem at Nissan is potential buyers see the dealer markups, laugh, and immediately leave. Nissan is a dumpster fire of their own making.
15
Who wants a very expensive pick-up with an extremely unreliable reputation? Apparently very few.
14
It’s all about profit.. Toyota is absolutely tanking
14
All trucks are at least $10k over priced, some $20k-$30k. Tacos costing more than $50k is insane.
14
Pro-X. No four wheel for me.
14
I have a lifted 2018 platinum reserve and it’s been great at 50k so far. It’s actually my 3rd Titan. I really do like them. They are overlooked way too much
14
Just bought a new under appreciated and underrated Nissan Titan in the pro-4x trim and Baja storm. 10k under msrp at 0% for 60mo. Edit: I was a Tundra guy but I rather have a naturally aspirated v8 over a turbo charged v6.

As someone who owns a 2022, but still had the hemi, I can say that it is a significant jump and ride quality and styling above a Tahoe I can’t speak for the other models. We absolutely would not go back to Tahoe after having the Wagoneer. I will say though we bought it secondhand for significantly less than the $100,000 price point you mentioned
14
Toyota truck owner since 1982,multiples. Two in the driveway now. Would NOT buy a new one.
14
I bought my first new car in 1974. A Chevrolet Camaro with automatic transmission and AM radio, no air conditioning. Total price with TTL was $2806. I drove that car until 2009.
13
I didn’t realize they had the Mazda 3 with a manual. It’s going to have to go on the short list.
13
Like with EVs. There are only a certain amount of the population that want them or can really afford them and that population has been maxed out. The rest and majority of the population are in fixed low incomes or are living paycheck to paycheck. They need a common 20-30k car.
13
You could get rid of your Cybertruck's logo and replace it with " Property of the Department of Sanitation. "
13
I've always been a Tacoma fan but would not buy that new 2024 model. I would opt for a Frontier.
13
Rule #1, if you are going to be an auto mechanic you have to SPECIALIZE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A "general repair man is a road to nowhere unless you want to be an idiot like Scotty Kilmer....
13
Honda dodged a bullet
13
i bought a 24 Pro4X loaded for 39900 OTD in March! great truck
13
I left the auto industry for a public utility years ago. Best decision I've ever made.
13
The line I'm responsible for at work builds up the rear boxes for the Hummer EV truck and SUV. I mean if someone wants to pay for it, let her rip, but not me. Actually looking at Subaru for my next car. The dealer by me has a 2024 Crosstrek pretty well equipped too for $28,000. I would prefer to buy something we build, but I refuse to pay these stupid prices. Plus I keep reading Subaru is tops in reliability. Decent price and reliability are what I'm most concerned with. In the meantime I'll keep saving every damn penny I can because I gotta feeling we're gonna be feeling it sooner or later.
12
I think for the money I'd buy something else. Definitely a collectors car just to say they have one. I'm curious how bad the torque steer is when getting on it. I'm sure they've fixed that.
12
The biggest reason the Ridgeline doesnt move is that ugly front end. It is hideous. People want a Pickup to look like a truck, not a minivan.
12
Do you think all major vehicle manufacturers get together and establish pricing to keep profit margins as high as they can? Hmm... This may be overly simplistic but the concept is pretty simple: To corner the market all one has to do is build a full size, very simple, RELIABLE truck for 25k (or less). I like the looks of most all the trucks on the market (especially Fords, and I'm a Chevy man that is currently driving a Frontier) but what concerns me most is the small, turbo charged engines and ten speed transmissions. Will they be as reliable as a turbo 400 trans, a 350 gm engine or a 7.3 powerstroke? I'm not so sure. 50k is a big roll of the dice on a vehicle hoping you won't have to start replacing major parts before 100k miles. Anyway thank you for another great video.
12
Shame they stopped selling the Passet here.
12
LOL. My 23 SR5 longbed in Silver has all the same stuff except the winter package which I don't need where I am at. Got the V6 4wd for 41 grand. I'll take the V6 over the turbo crap. I got it tuned with OTT and it has plenty of low end power now and smooth quick shifting. I had to drive 6 hours to get the truck but I didn't pay any markups. I remember when paying at MSRP was considered being ripped off now we got these crazy markups. TFL just had their brand new 24 tacoma lose 4wd on a mild course. 53k is more than my dad paid for a loaded Chevy 2500HD Crew Cab with 4wd and the 6.6 gas engine. That was a few years back when they still had the 6 speed autos.
12
The banks will bail them out, supported by the gov't and the expense of taxpayers if they file for bankruptcy.Life is so unfair.
12
I think they're gambling on tax season. All I can say is thank god and Honda for my 2013 Accord.
12
Nice review ... thank you. The limited with Full-time 4WD is amazing 👏
12
Toyota and the dealers caught on, and are taking the profits for themselves
12
My 2016 has been so flawless and i cant seem to get rid of it seeing how poorly other new vehicles are today. The software glitches, the fragile fenders, the fragile underbodys that break apart from deep potholes, This overbuilt tank will get to where you need storm or shine. Dramatic people call it old, i call it simplicity and old doesnt do that. Its just a proven perfect track record. See you in the 300k mile club.😎
12
The trd pro are the ones that has the highest resell value. You’ll say it cost an arm and a leg, but you can get 2 arms and a leg selling it
12
Absolutely 💯! No nonsense approach and one of the most affordable trucks on the market
12
I appreciate the short video of this content, everyone doing these drags them over 15min
12
I could buy one of these trucks cash tomorrow. But they are complete garbage and I'm not interested. I don't want a twin turbo that grenades itself when you drive it off the lot and no-one wants a hybrid truck. Bring back the proven V8 and I'd get one tomorrow at even these prices. That engine will last forever and those trucks were bullet proof investments. This junk isn't worth even $10k. Who wants a truck you can't rely on?
12
I'll pay for a quality truck. Unfortunately GMC and GM Trucks have boatloads of quality problems. If the CAFE standards get rolled back I would be interested in an ICE truck without DFM and somehow get rid of half the computer controlled crap that keeps breaking - including the transmissions. These are basically disposable vehicles that will stuggle to make it to 150K. Currently have 5 vehicles but on the truck side it's the last reliable V6 in a 23 Nightshade Tacoma. If I needed full size it would have had to be a 21 Tundra 1794. The last V8 without AFM or DFM without going up to the 2500 series with the 6.6 liter. What a mess.
12
You kept cool and did the right thing to give the calm salesman some helpful advice and that’s to think about moving on. Everybody loses with Stelantis. Prices too high, buyers cant afford it, Stellantis firm on prices, sales people cant make money.
12
30 dollars an hour? After your IRA, after your health insurance, that ain't squat.
12
Made in Mexico TuRD TACO😂
12
Once the 2025 models start hitting lots you’ll really see some deals. There’s so much inventory on the 24’ GT’s
12
I agree, at that price, it beats the Tacoma up and down all day long. And I've owned many Toyotas.
12
Our local small town dealer has the most New vehicles I have ever seen there. Nobody is going to pay that for a work truck in the snow belt.
12
Whoever is running Toyota has no business sense. They no longer focus on the customer and bring little value with their new trucks. They price their trucks where maybe only10% of the customer base can afford it, but produce same amounts. Of course they will start to pile up on dealer's lots. They Introduce more complex engines (turbo, hybrid) that add thousands to the cost, but deliver so little mpg benefit. Where is the value? If I could get 40 mpg, maybe there's value. Terrible business moves...
12
Bought a brand new 24 Sentra SR with every option available for 24800 which stickered for $30k.By the way,our own GM and Ford would be done if it would not be for the government bailing them out.
12
I have a problem with people who consider a chrome tricked-out truck as a "symbol of maleness". I am an old guy. Back in the 1900s trucks were considered a tool like a tractor.
12
Yeah, i just checked out an F250 the other day... It was a 4x4, but other than that, it wasn't a fancy model... They still wanted 100 grand. They can keep that crap. I'll keep driving the vehicles i already have.
12
Let it rot, in the lot. Smart people don't buy.
12
I've always been a huge Toyota fan and own a 2004 Tacoma and 2018 RAV. But that Trail Boss absolutely destroys the 2024 Taco.
11
I test drove one. Wasn't even the higher end equipment like 14" touchscreen not even predator steps and was 52K before dealer fees. I told them my 2022 TRD offroad was fine, and I want to keep manual. They said new models do not come in manual lol.
11
Those automotive techs need to start their own businesses.
