Fewer vehicles but at outrageous prices is the new business model. They discovered during covid people would fight to pay over MSRP. They will never go back.

Good Man! Great trucks, I have Pro 4 x and love it!

Alternate universe pricing - thanks joe biden!

Jeep dealership in July: offered me a new Gladiator Sport S for $54k, no frills, no conversation or haggling 😂😂🤣🤣😂😂 Same Jeep dealer two months ago: sends me an offer (that I accepted) on a new Gladiator for $33k, plus $2,500 more for my trade-in, plus refunded my brake work, plus threw-in a soft top, plus a free year of Sirius XM, plus free Gorilla Glass and Sierra wheels upgrades and 7 free oil changes and tire rotations.

I use the percentage of people who buy the tacoma to find out how many people failed kindergarten.
11
This is terrible news. Thank you for the warning.
11
Traded down from overpriced pickup to 24 jetta sport and no regrets...fun to drive, great mileage, easy on the wallet, and no cvt!
11
Taking a picture of a window sticker IS NOT Illegal so call the police PERIOD !!

That's an awesome story with your daughter! I just got my first Ranger and every one is telling me how they love it! They just are awesome 😋

Great truck and in today's world, at one time or another, they're all going to have a recall notice, just to CYA. I'd buy this over any midsize truck out there and it'll also last 300k miles with minimal repairs when doing the scheduled maintenance. If you're not rock crawling, this truck will handle mild two tracks and be more than most truck owners need for family doings.

As well as Elo Ma's political shenanigins, I think Teslas have become boring. Externally I can't tell a Y from a 3 unless they're standing next to each other, and the Y in 2012 looks the same as the Y in 2025. Meanwhile there are many other options coming to the market, and they don't rely on one screen to control and display everything.

So true about the Chevy Tahoe, bought a 2016 Tahoe NEW. Babied the heck out of that thing. 5 year later, new transmission, AC, and 10K worth of various failures. Sold it and bought me 2022 SR5 Premium 4Runner and very happy. Done with Chevy.

I recently was looking into a Jeep Gladiator. The dealers were playing the same old games, adding $3k in dealer add ons. I am done, I walked away!
10
People keep shopping by payment and they don't understand they are taking out 7 to 9 year loans to get that payment so they are buried in debt and the interest adds another $20,000 dollars to the price of the truck by the time it is paid off. Stupid buyers are to blame, just walk away people or you will never get yourself out of debt.

3 years sitting = lot rot. Will need new wheels for sure.
10
I continue seeing negative comments on the 2024 Tacomas; but I really have enjoyed my 2024 Tacoma Limited & it has over 4000 miles now & I have not had any issues with it! I enjoy the ride & the engine has enough power for me! I traded my 2012 Ram 1500 4x4 that I bought brand new & I don’t regret it!
10
I knew this was going to happen. Dealers getting greedy. Will have to shop around, don't pay the mark ups or junk stuff like nitrogen. Stand firm in negotiating. You have to be willing to walk away, literally. Good video, thanks for bringing this out.

I have a '24 SV king cab 6'bed and I love it. The truck I would have bought instead if I could have would have been the Canada only Pro 4X king cab 6'bed.
10
For 35k I would rather get a Frontier with a 6cyl engine
10
Love my Giulia Quadrifoglio 2018 hasn't let me down and i had it since 2020.
10
Inflation is a gov tax destroyer of the middle class and poor inflation is 2-3 times what gov says they don’t include groceries and energy
10
And the massive lack of transmission reliability
10
I bought my Tacoma TRD Off Road PreRunner, V6 SR5 new, off the lot, for 18k with all possible options. At that time, the engine was poured in Elkhart. The bed was made in Long Beach, CA. The cab was made in Fremont CA. So essentially an USA MADE truck. I still own this 2005 Tacoma and have only 21k miles on it. The only thing I had to do is get it repainted because of a failed clear coat. Not a bad investment for a Tacoma that has lasted me 20 years.

New car prices are unaffordable for working families. My wife and I have three cars all pushing 10’years old or older, oldest 20 year old Honda. We refuse to pay for a new car because we have no need for one. We’d like a new one, who wouldn’t? The American dream cannot afford housing, utilities, child care, groceries, and car payments. We aren’t in a depression, but we are close.
10
Great. Let them go out of business.
10
I refuse to pay "market adjustment" on any car. It was a scam when inventory was low, and an even bigger rip-off when inventory is up.
10
I was a GM certified and ASE certified tech at a Buick Dealership for 10 years and the final straw for me was getting stuck constantly with warranty work, I left there in 05 and became a Trucker now with almost 19 years and 2 million miles under my belt, best decision I ever made!!!
10
They have the new limited engine grenade feature to!
10
I added a 3 1/2 inch lift and a 1-inch subframe drop and increased the spring rate up to 800 lb per square inch and put a fantastic tune m1 camper on it. Truck handles it beautifully and really looks fantastic
10
Yep, way too much. Just bought a new Titan sv 4x4, fairly loaded. $10k in options. Very nice... $48 k! No turbo for me, just a strong and durable v8 motor. Yahoo.
10
Just take care of your car and it will last. It’s not so much an issue of VW, it’s mostly dumb owners who skipped service is an issue.
10
I’m tired of these lazy car manufacturers, not putting color interior in their cars. This black leather interior, with color inserts, is their ideal of color interior. I like to see all them go back to the interior design of the 60-80’s. With all the same color headliner, steering wheel, seats, door panels and carpeting. Bring back beautiful, stylish and comfortable interiors!
10
Definitely holding on to our ZERO option 2011 XL Ranger with manual everything including the transmission. In 112k miles it's been mechanically bulletproof.
9
Keeping my 22 SR 5 its paid for does what i need it to do.
9
I’d take the buyout and move , liked the the frontier if manual transmission was still available, still a good looking truck
9
Just bought a 2023 SV 4x4 with the Tech/Convenience/Fender packages...my drive-out price was $34K after tax/title/license/fees/etc...only thing I wish it has is LED headlights; but these Nissan seats are superb!!! I had ordered a Ford Maverick XLT EcoBoost AWD, but Ford delayed it again -- the Nissan price was only $2K more than the Maverick (that didn't have heated seats/steering wheel, spray in bed liner, bed utility track, Fender upgrade, 60/40 rear seat, etc...)
9
They are just very boring. Boring to drive, boring interior and exterior design...
9
They were ripping people off for years! Its called karma. They are stuck on stupid!
9
Toyota wants to be like JEEP with that quality and prices.... good luck with that...
9
The markup in price and savings from the Mexico plant make up for it to Toyota the most in debt company in the world
9
Wait wait wait...... are you telling me.... that no one wants to pay $55,000 for a basic 4 cylinder truck?
9
Got mine for MSRP in February. It's worth every penny, especially considering I will never sell it.
9
15 Minute Cities is the goal. Communal squalor for us masses and public transportation too!! Yay!!
9
Straight to the point no bs
9
I have the same one and I paid MSRP and i still felt like I overpaid.
9
I totally agree with you. The Mazda brand is really good quality built vehicles, and in particular the Mazda 3. And the Road manners and handling is way superior to any Pick Up Truck or SUV. But people just wants these "Tanks" to show off, or sit higher, which gives them the perception of being more secure, but the Crash tests tells another story. The sad story of these compact Sedans / Hatchbacks is that they are slowly but surely being phased out due to poor sales.
9
Dealer greed + Corporate greed
9
Army green color needed. Same old white, black, red, light blue.
9
Inflation - look at the prices of everything - especially houses and rents. Just awful.
9
Thats alot of money your going to lose buying one of those sitting that long when u pull out of the dealership
