Thank you for the reminder of what true self care means. You inspire me to live my best life.

I love your no nonsense, straight to the point attitude! So refreshing❤
10
Totally agree with everything you said in this video. This world is f'd up.
10
Minimalism means I can have a smaller house.
10
Thank you Nicole!

WORK SUCKS. I KNOW. 🎶😄

Your dogs soooo cute omg show him more ❤

So happy your channel is growing! You and Levi deserve it! Much love from AZ 😀

Living in the UK in the northwest I tend to spend on average £967pm or £241pw. £767 of that being mortgage and utilities and fuel etc, the remainder being gym and entertainment. This obviously can change but being an introverted minimalist has its benefits on your savings. It would be interesting to see a video on what vegan meals you like to eat during the week and maybe how you like to save money on your shopping other than making meals at home. Loving the weekly videos, looking forward to your next video, keep up the great work!.

👏🏼 Very wise my dear !

Great to see you back! I missed the weekly habit of checking to see if you have uploaded. (see what I did there.) All Great opinions on habits others could easily adopt into their lives, especially the money tracking and getting exercise regularly but figuring out a way to just clear your headspace like you do walking Levi. A habit I like to focus on is not caring what others think or do which in turn holds you back from improving yourself, too much time spent dwelling on what others think about you and who you are/ what you do is wasted time. You don't fit into the work click o'well. You don't get smashed every weekend "your boring" o'well. Not having the latest fashion trends o'well.

Thanks for your honesty ✌️ and congrats on 20k subscribers 🎉 I so enjoy your videos and sense of humour 🙌

Great video Nicole!

I'm calling my credit card company and asking them to take off the yearly fee. If they won't, I'll go to another company.

i like your “2 minute” example for seeing how much you can accomplish in a short amount of time- i am always suprised how much I can get done in a set amount of time— it’s typically alot more than I thought. i’m enjoying your channel so much!! i came across your channel yesterday and i’ve just been a sponge absorbing so many tid bits of information. thanks so much!!!! you’re a gem 💎 .
10
Watching your videos have compelled me to make some changes in my expenses. After only watching a few vids and subscribing. I’ve saved $100 a month.
10
NOT a hypocrite, you got a better deal for the same money AND you recoup some fiscal return's from selling your i-phone7. That's a win-win deal all-round I'd say!
10
Girl I needed to hear someone else say this. The hustle culture leave out room for family and most of time which will never be able to be made up. Thank you for this💕
10
I love you, Nicole!!!!! Your videos have been helping me learn how to save! I'm just starting this month!!! Little by little! 🩵🦜

Yes to all of this. To me minimalism is more about being mindful of what you bring in and remove from your life and not buying into the rampant consumerism we are encouraged to participate in. What's important is going to be different for everyone and will definitely change over time.

Not wanting to pay $25 for a happy meal is not being cheap. It's like when drivers during the height of pandemic deliveries were getting pissed at customers for not paying tips on top of the crazy prices they were already paying the company when the drivers should have been going for a better cut from the COMPANY. It's like when you order and pay for pizza delivery only to find out that the driver is not receiving the delivery fee... they still want YOU to pay for yet another tip that should have already gone to the person actually making the delivery!

Agreed on the real estate agents…and also other “businesses” that help sell things that other people own…and collect income without putting in any of their own cash. The other big scam are agencies that provide temporary workers…and the companies that use them. Like the real estate agent; it’s just another layer that someone has created to pull money out of a process.

Watched all of it. Ran.my own business for 10 years. I too didn't work weekends and Fridays- I retired at 58 - just keeping a tiny bit of business going to pay my way. Yes, I have to be frugal and minimal but I always was anyway ( hence able to retire at 58). It took years before I could say " I don't work weekends or Fridays or before 11am". Most people just said something like - you lucky thing. A few pointed out how much more money I could make. There is a Buddhist story about the business man and the fisherman- luckily I had heard it! I wanted time now to read, do yoga, listen to music, watch a sunset enjoy and be grateful. Tomorrow, after all, is not guaranteed.

I hope you feel better soon 💕 I agree with you about college. There was so much debt! I had my loans forgiven because I was in a lawsuit class action. The college I went to was fraudulent and nothing ever came from my education experience. I am glad I had them forgiven but it was such a waste of time.

This is Genius Nicole!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
10
I laugh at that Homer Simpson clip EVERY time. I don't have kids, and I still don't have "3 money" because I'm still paying on my student loans
10
Thank you Nicole! Because of your channel and for the first time ever, pay myself first and now I’m only less less than a $100 away to reach $1000. It’s something than nothing and this is big for moving forward. And plan on doing the excel like you mention that you do is making a game out of it. Thanks Nicole!!! Keep going! Rooting for you!!!💗💕😃☘️💚

Basicaly ,what your saying is, You live your life your way, and let others do the same. Who gives a S""t what people think. Great opinion, Great video.

I think neutrality is the natural healthy state of mind. Inner peace. I feel that happiness and sadness/anger are two temporary states in the mind of a healthy person. Great video as always.

My self-care is watching your Sunday video upload while sitting with my dog and enjoying my morning coffee 🐶☕️🤠 gets me thinking before I plan my week ahead.

SUCH A CUTE PUPPY!!

Well done. You are great in articulating your thoughts and feelings. I go through those same emotions. Always wondering, have I done the right thing? As much as I want the change I sometimes run back to my comfort zone.
9
damn, you just read my mind about how being in a "dream job" would probably just corrode the pleasure of doing it
9
Smart and charismatic too! That's an unusual combination, Nicole, and you have it in spades!
9
Thank you! I agree, buy good quality so you don’t have to buy twice!
9
I have been watching your videos the past couple of weeks. You are so practical, I’m 21 and aspire to to achieve my own home one day. Love your videos!! Keep making content <3

8:47 Hospitals use to be federally funded in the US, but greed made the politicians run the government like a corporation and profiteering became the norm, cutting costs by cutting programs, cutting funding, and keeping more tax revenue than they were spending.... Basically shrinkflation of an entire country. We pay more in taxes now than ever before with only a fraction of the services we use to get.
9
Thanks for another great video! I would add a reminder about public libraries. In most places in the US and I assume in Canada, you can check out books, movies, music, sometimes even games and artwork. It is all there for free!
9
Happy Birthday Nicole! I feel like you got in my head. I did the same thing with my crayons. I am 54 & still grappling with perfectionist tendencies. I am getting better with it. I can laugh more at myself now. Thank you for all the great videos.

We are 63 and 66 and we’ve lived in our home since 1991. Our girls grew up here. Every nook and cranny has been loved on and cared for. Nicole, you have a beautiful canvas. Enjoy making it your haven your way on your timeframe.
9
Congratulations on your YT success! 🎉 This was a very inspiring video to watch as a content creator myself.
9
I mean just look at those FISH! and hahaha "I'm perfectly happy to sleep in and watch the world burn". 🔥🔥🔥

Certification is also an option, which I am working on it. :)
9
That’s a matter of opinion that has MANY factors. In some instances a home CAN be an investment. Your black & white point of view is too simplistic 🤷♀️
9
Being human is beautiful. Your mistakes have served you well :)
9
I have always had trouble with that proverb and never use it....because its simply not true. Your argument is much more well thought out and concisely communicated than anything I've ever come up with and I agree completely with everything you said here.
9
Frugal is good. Keep up being an influencer. Your home is beautiful and I noticed sparce. That is smart. Buy slowly what you really want in time. Health affirming is never wrong. good for you.
9
Levi is gorgeous! His little face when he wanted to play, bless him . I live a frugal life in the UK. The prices of your groceries seem much higher than the UK. I too spend more when friends come round - but that's fine as it costs less than going out! I am enjoying your videos - it makes me feel a little less alone to find there are other folk out there leading a minimal frugal life. Since our lockdowns ended I have only gone to a major city a couple if times and all the noise and pushy selling techniques just left me stressed. ( my dentist is there). Only bought one thing! Lol
