The 'sleep + exercise' actually helped me work efficiently throughout the day, I felt less tired and energetic. Step 1: Face the truth- track your screen time(use digital well-being apps), use a wallpaper that says "do you really need to use your phone" Step 2: Barrier method Hacks- move/hide your distraction apps- make it harder to access your social media apps by hiding in folders Grayscale mode- colourless screen is boring App blockers- apps like-Forest app, stay focused or freedom Replace lockscreen to quote that hits hard Step 3: Dopamine swap- Replace don't just remove. Straight up cutting screen time leads to boredom which leads to using your phone more. Alternatives- listen to podcast, audiobook. Use fidget toys, stressball or a sketchbook, while distracted from work. Start a hobby, move your body Step 4: Schedule tech breaks- fix a time to use your phone/social media.Hack- try 30/10 rule 30 mins wok,10 mins break to use your phone. Use app timers to be held accountable bonus- set the app timer labeled "break over get back to work" Step 5: Ok i cant type anymore
