Thank you for being so honest about everything. It really resonated with me and my experiences in relationships.

❤ Lake always, you have touched my mind again... I live in the shadow of unrequited good intentions, since most of the time no matter how big my orders have been, nobody bothers to bid me goodbye when I leave the store,... at the bar, I had a play up to the bartenders 🎉 I have become mentally so like a pariah, that I have to make videos featuring me talking to myself...❤ Love

I've been watching your content for a while & am super happy that you've recently made this second channel to give your direct perspective and insights into topics in addition to your main channel content. "Self-Improvement" as a label is incredibly limiting. I consider you a video essayist & a pristine one at that, especially when talking about social issues and phenomena! Best of wishes to you & thanks for positively influencing my life! 💙

is life's purpose just to 'feel good'? Maybe the wrong starting point to begin with is the pursuit of happiness itself. If belief in god should do anything for you, it should be to mobilize you to fight the injustice of the world, not to make you content and complacent. Yet I find it better to fight injustice and engage in struggle without the justification of some higher power, that's just me; whatever it takes to make a better world possible.

watched your video on gooning yesterday and found it really informative and well made, then i thought a lot about doomscrolling and checked youtube and seen this recently posted video

Don't forget the other phrase that also holds you back just as much, "I should". I'm guilty of using that to make non-commitments.

@CoalHastings i am so proud of you and happy for you 💕💜

I commented in the self mastery group about the “conversations with God” book series I’m currently listening to. I think you’d really like them and would find a lot of agreement and insight in the concepts that the series presents.

You look great! Thanks for the simple explanation.

You are very remarkable person! i hope more people have the same way of thinking

Wonderful insight as usual! Genuine question: In your opinion, should we not strive to be our best selves no matter our external environment/circumstances? In other words, how do we know if we truly need to remove ourselves from our current environment/circumstances in order to reach our "full potential"?

Also great video man! it looks like you’re really comfortable doing this sort of content, and it’s All really interesting!

Hey Cole, thanks for your Videos. Your Videos already helped me during a hard breakup and I woul like so say thank you for that. I can feel that you really mean the things you are saying in your Videos and I respect that. I can see some points from this Video in myself and I think there is some work for me to do. Found some old newspapers from the 1930s that were used as a coal chute barrier within the walls. It’s been enlightening to see words I was somewhat familiar with but don’t use as often or not at all. Since finding these pieces of history was so exciting and relevant to my historical interests, I was able to retain and use them more—what a treat to discover new words and expand your vocabulary.

Very refreshing Cole , I have been following you for some time now . Some of your videos are boring and some are brilliant. Some I take nothing from others just a few comments but these comments resonate in my life . And I do use your thoughts to help me at times . So in the end I’m glad you randomly came into my life . Martin a 60 year old English guy who’s slightly better off by watching you vids x

Love you bro ❤❤

Cole, I visited Japan last April, tried to catch the Sakura cherry blossom season in Kyoto at its peak. It’s an amazing place, between visiting a Zen temple and afterwards hopping on a Shinkansen. It’s where the old and new merge together perfectly. Not many other places can strike such a perfect balance in scenic beauty, despite the work culture being too oppressive

there are two words that will make you successful in life: "Git Gud"

Ngl, These are the videos I really fuck with. I honestly prefer watching unfiltered channels compared to main channels. Like you said, I don't even watch your main videos like that anymore, Unless you got something interesting. It's nice watch something and listen like you're next to me instead of watching a documentary

Great interview and a good friend to have

thanks for the different perspective , I love the honesty. I do admit I have an addiction to self improvement., that sometimes becomes toxic , insecure I do admit I have been woke to the fact that I am a gym cell from your last video and I’ve been working so much on myself that I’ve killed a lot of opportunities outside of my life

just came here from the main channel and i love this type of stuff too. Raw and unfiltered rants 😂🫂

I really like this style of content. No edits and something you can just listen to. Also for anyone looking to turn their phone into a dumb phone I personally recommend this product called Brick. It’s a physical product that you tap your phone on to turn it to a dumb phone. So you can distance yourself from the brick which I think is the easiest way to stay off your phone. I keep mine in my car so I have to walk down 3 flights of stairs if I want to access social media. It’s helped me out so much and I highly recommend it.
