Tip: Before delving into any investments, understand your risk profile and do a goal setting exercise. Diversify your assets, have alternate source of income and get to know the tax laws of the country where you're a tax resident.

If they don’t like fractional shares then they should ask the companies to increase the number of shares so that investors ‘fractions’ become ‘whole units’ and each individual share is cheaper and more affordable for the retail investor. But ofc they won’t, they’ll put the hardship on the investor

I m 35 and i got 20k in snp500 fund

Defo do a video on the DCF method. Thank you for the detailed video Mitch Sir, I learnt alot :)
3
You actually made the video I suggested nice one didn't expect that
3
Also, although the capital appreciation on property may only be 5.8% per annum, you have put down 25% and 75% is the mortgage. However, you gain the 5.8% on the whole property value, not just your deposit/investment 👍🏼

Really interesting. Thank you. In terms of tax, would gains made in this way be treated as interest on savings (so a personal savings allowance of £1k, or £500 depending on tax band) or is this taxed as capital gains (with the allowance soon to be cut to £3k)?

Nice video Mitch! I'm not relying on a state pension at all (probably won't exist) and focusing on making my own passive income for retirement through property and index funds
3
How much money have you made since being on 212?
3
Have a simple plan and do not deviate from it unless there is a very very important or life changing reason to change it. Mine is 100% equity global fund & just keep buying
3
Hey Mitch, why don't you convert some of your current S&S ISA into property and use that cashflow to increase your investments?
3
Congratulations mate. I only started investing this year. Current net worth of ~£70k made up of all sorts, before tuning 28, and hopefully good future career prospects 🤞
3
Very interested in this Mitch
3
Hope to get that 1 million before im 40
3
No one can predict the future, but it is best to plan for the best and be prepared for the worst so I am simply dollar cost averaging in... and focusing on quality stocks!
3
I have a 100% pie of VUSA that automatically reinvests when payed dividends (212 isa). I assume that’s basically the same as investing in VUAG?

Great video - I'm currently in the process of starting to look for my second home and the prices of this are absolutely ridiculous compare to just 2-3 years ago - I appreciate that these will increase but my home purchased for around 160k now valued at 240k IN 3 YEARS and because of this if I wanted to buy a semi with a drive I'm looking at 320k+ which I do not earn enough for. I would love future updates on this and really do value your option and information video
3
Look forward to your videos. Keep up the good work
3
Great Vid Mitch, super helpful for those that are just starting out/thinking of starting out! Such a great channel for UK investors!
3
I just started investing, I'm glad I found your channel 🎉
3
Great vid bro, loving how detailed and open you were with your portfolio. Can I ask which platform you use to buy crypto?
3
Hey Mitch great job with the video can u please do a review of the Revolut app an d the investing options they offer?
3
Yes please show us how your journey goes but keep the channel based on stocks 👍🏾
3
Hi Mitch, i notice that that the S&P 500 Energy ETF has been performing successfully at the moment, amid all the speculation about the future of renewable energy, the russian-ukrainian war and its influence on oil prices, could you potentially do a video dedicated to the S&P 500 energy ETF, i’d find that very interesting! thanks

I have invested over 3.5k into the VUSA.L and the Vanguard US Equity index fund -accumulative so it pays a reinvested 1.1% quarterly dividend. I'm 18 hoping to invest in individual stocks in 2022. great vid btw!!!!
3
Hey Mitch great content as always. May I ask you where would one find the most reliable news and updates on the stock market with so many websites and blogs?
3
Very interesting video Mitch. 👏👏I have watched hundreds hours of financial YouTuber videos. However I have never seen any of you guys buy Berkshire stock which seems strange as everyone agrees he is the GOAT 🐐 of investing. I have 10 shares. Thoughts 💭
3
Another great informative video, thanks man
3
Great video just starting out for the long term over ten years just trying small for now trying the ten pound a day too see how I get on just for starters great videos
3
Awesome video, thank you for sharing the ideas... I began my passive income stream with good old dividend investing before moving onto online classes (a financial course on Skillshare) and more recently now of course I am building this YouTube channel out which didn't necessarily start for passive income but by default... just may bring some cash in..
3
loving the macro news update vids mitch, keep it up!
3
All I see is a discount for a while before it climbs again 😁
3
@MitchShoesmith can you do a portfolio update video
3

3
What car do you have now?
3
This is why all my pension is held in Global all cap.
3
Another good video. Keep them coming.
3
Same as me 🤣
3
Nice video Mitch. Will you be making vids about your property investing next year?
3
The 4% rule assumes that by the point of retirement, you would have your investments in assets that yields that much return on average. But it isn't relevant if you intend on keeping your investments in higher risk assets that yield more on average, thanks for pointing this out!
3
I decided to buy more sp 500 and other stocks
3
Personally, I am just going to carry on investing as I do normally. Im only 26 and not looking to use the money made (hopefully money is made anyway) until retirement which I am hoping will be before I am 50. Thanks for the great videos Mitch.
3
My strategy is to buy low yield, high growth stocks that can appreciate in share price rapidly and grow their dividend above the rate of inflation. Then once I’ve built up a big enough portfolio value, I will buy the FTSE all world high dividend yield etf
3
Good morning love your videos!
3
Great video as always Mitch! Totally agree regarding lifestyle inflation. My outgoings haven't increased all that much over the last 6 years (apart from inflation in bills etc) but my salary has increased from £34k to £80k. The compound effect is also kicking in now too when I started out I was making a few quid per month in dividends, next month, my dividends alone will be over £500, which will all be reinvested :) Start small and grow from there! Everyone has to start somewhere, whether that be your first £400 in VUSA or, in my case, £100 in Lloyds shares!
3
I use II because their SIPP is very good too.
3
"SHOW ME YOUR PROPERTY PORTFOLIO"
3
I found this channel randomly; glad I stopped by! Great content! Reminds me of a video I created before.
3
Was the market open when transaction was created? If the order was created to buy at market price but there are no sellers immediately then it will wait till a seller is willing to sell or for market to open. This is not spread.
3
You got to love when they want to control you money even more.
