S&P 500 or US Total Market Index both very similar, what would be your choice? Have you ever made a video on US small cap investing? If not would this be possible.

📚One of the best videos out there, genuinely really helpful, I’m a young individual myself always trying to learn and expand my knowledge in all aspects in the financial world, Ild say as a good tip for other young investors is really try to invest into a stocks and shares isa monthly even if it’s a low amount as over time it will really pay off, Pick a good suited index fund such as the S&P 500 or even Japanese / British market, over time you will really see the results, again, Amazing video Mitch ! 📓

Dividend investing all the way! My main portfolio is a dividend stock/ETF paying portfolio. I have however just started a small growth portfolio on Freetrade. Let’s see what the future holds.
2
Hi Mitch! Given the sharp decline in stock prices, when do you foresee it going back to the highs seen earlier this year?
2
Thank you. I wondered why the FX was in the red. I am new to trading
2
Great to see that your hard work has paid off, appreciate the transparency too! Keep smashing it and best of luck for 2021

Another great video Mitch. Three book recommendations from me: 'The Power of Habit' by Charles Duhigg 'Atomic Habits' by James Clear 'Shoe Dog' by Phil Knight Not necessarily investing/finance books but all good interesting reads with lessons you can apply to your investing journey.

This sounds daft but.... Why they can't just get up and explain basic economics like, spend less, stick an extra 10-20% in savings, for those who can to take money out the economy or we will take it off u by interest and taxes is beyond me. AND given most people are on fixed borrowing rates the impact will be individually shocking but collectively take years yo be felt why they didn't increase vat or tax is beyond me. Tax increases are nearly instant, interest isn't.

A wise youtuber (you) once said if in doubt zoom back out :)
2
so apparently politicians in America, countries like japan etc and even CEOs are selling billions worth of their stocks as they're predicting the stock market to crash, how does an investor protect themselves from this.
2
@MitchShoesmith Thanks, last thing, can you do a video on bond selection? (if you haven't uploaded one that is)... it would be good to know what bonds to look into if there is a deflation.
2
Hi Mitch, I wanted to ask.. Do you also have a pension fund set up and if so which company do you use? Noticed it’s offered on the Vanguard website and wanted your opinion if it’s worth looking into. Thanks :)
2
Great video ,Easy to understand about stock market for beginners, thank you so much.
2
Could scale it down to 10% for £100 a month
2
I think it’s because he had unrealised gains of like 8k before. So even though that has now dropped to £800 he’s still technically in unrealised gains. They are just much smaller than before

2
Thanks for another great video Mitch
2
Inspiring and thanks for the great advice, top quality! 👌🏻👍🏻
2
Great to see you still monitoring TTCF. S&P should correct soon but hopefully not by much.
2
Will you be doing any selling of your tech focused, or adding investments into other sectors to diversify and keeping these tech stocks for the good long term outlook?
2
A great relationship and enough to live on is all you need.
2
@MitchShoesmith cheers mate! your videos really helped me go from £100 to £10,000 in 1 year

High inflation is what happens when the Bank of England goes on a massive money-printing spree. During lockdown, everybody was happy for it to happen, and Sunak was happy to take all the plaudits for handing out furlough payments left, right and centre as Chancellor. Not so happy now as it comes back to bite him in the backside.
2
Nice one bro. Thanks a lot. U explained step by step in details. ❤
2
Well done, as a new investor I have watched your videos regularly and taken on board a lot of what you have said. Hope the channel continues to grow and keep up the good work!
2
Even if you just left it all alone and added no more money to it, your portfolio will be worth £1 million by the time you’re 58. In today’s money!!! Amazing job! (assuming a 6% pa return above inflation - a perfectly reasonable assumption…)
2
Well done Mitch 👍🏼👏🏻
2

A correction in the market with a positive return at the year end I'd call that an opportunity
2
I've taken alot from this video Mitch thankyou
2
Have you considered diversifying your portfolio a little more? It seems very US Tech heavy. Or is this something you'll consider as you get older?
2
Recently started investing and finding your videos to be really helpful, thanks! Seeing some encouraging initial gains but whatever happens I'm in it for the long term. Keep up the great content.
2
Hi Mitch, great video. Where abouts do I find the download for the compound calculator you used in this video? Thanks.
2
The biggest opportunity in our lifetime Mitch🤞🏻
2
How much are you investing on a monthly basis yourself Mitch?
2
Congratulations Mitch, noticed you have a Lotus and an Audi also! 🎉 £825 a month?! Strewth
2
Absolutely!!! Show me your property portfolio! This is something I’m interested in doing myself

From experience, with HL you can be efficient with fees if you fully understand how their system works. To deal funds, there's no charge. To deal shares and etfs, yes there's £11 odd quid charge, HOWEVER.. If you use their regular savings plan to buy shares or ETF's, there's no charge. So I adhock buy my index fund I hold, and have a regular savings plan set up for the ETF's I hold. I pay only the account management fee in regards to HL.
2
Hi Mitch, keeping investing or selling them and then run away:)
