What’s the difference from keeping cash in the Stocks and Shares ISA account? They’re both same % growth?
2
Great vid, really enjoyed it! Is there any specific reason why you don’t utilise fractional shares to ensure all your capital is working for you? :)

I've started getting 1k a monthnin excess cash and I'm going to drop it allninto the market this year. Will probably go down, but in 5 years I'll be laughing.

Good video Mitch! What type of mortgage do you have on your new property? Repayment or interest only?

I agree that income is the most important aspect of wealth.

Great video as always! Could you please tell us your point of view on the current state of the spx 500 since from the pandemic is all about talking on a bubble that is going to explode? I really would like to invest in it but when I look its behaviour in the past months i get a little worried that a correction is right behind the corner
2
Hey Mitch! Love your videos bro, being nosey and feel free not to answer. But is youtube & Instagram your main source of income? Or you have a 9-5 but expanding your streams like me ! :)
2
I don’t think the Congress will let the US to default. The cost of letting the federal government to continue borrowing is negligible compared to what come with a default
2
Hey Mitch, great video again! What do you think about the new higher interest rate on ininvested cash option but with volatility?
2
Bravo! Mitch! Congrats!
2
Great vid Mitch! Are you going to make a video on the new earnings reports due today?
2
@MitchShoesmith That would be great, thanks

I don't get the concept of compound interest on stocks and shares, i understand how it works on normal savings with interest but we don't earn interest on shares. I assume the "interest" is based on the percentage growth on your investment over a year. So if you invested £1000 over the year and that returned 10% growth then you would in effect have £1100. Add another £1000 the following year and the return is again 10% you would get 10% of £2100. Am i getting this right?

Such a good video! Any Chance you can put that tenplate somewhere so I can download it.

Always keep a cash position incase there is blood on the streets

Would investing money in companies such as delta and Boeing be a good idea for when the airline industry picks back up?
2
Last few months have brought in a lot of new investors looking for quick gains and most will be disappointed! Great to get back to the key fundamentals of long term, cost averaging and compounding to grow wealth! Good video Mitch 👍🏻
2
Always look forward to your videos Mitch. You make it all easy to understand. Im quite new to investing and alot on YouTube seem to over complicate for someone new like myself. Thanks, looking forward to good news in the next video haha
2
Hi Mitch, great video. Can you tell me why some ETF are view only? I was looking VOO but cannot invest as view only. Thx
2
Is this your longest video to date? Think you managed to cover all the topics that someone new to investing would need, can't stress enough (as someone who got into investing in 2021) - do not be an emotional investor and panic sell as soon as you see your portfolio in the red or buy a stock that has record highs, do your homework as Mitch stated in the video to work out if the stock still has an upside and room to grow.
2
Brilliant!
2
Wow Mitch that is awesome! I’m a little way behind this but - this is super inspiring! Could deffo quit my job if I hit your numbers - keep it up dude!!
2

Invest in blue chip companies, you can not go wrong 📚

Love it! Thank you!!!!!!

Atm its best not to look at our P/L screens and invest in solid companies just look at it as a year long sale. Just remember you wont lose money if you dont sell you'll still have x amount of tesla shares
2
Fantastic work 👏 keep up the great content Mitch!
2
@MitchShoesmith That's great, thank you for the quick response and clarification for the query. Their expense ratios are comparable, and iShares is more accessible with Freetrade. As in, I invest £31 every time as 1 share with iShares, whereas for Vanguard I need £62 (so would have to invest every fortnight, instead of every Monday). I'm currently investing in iShares global, iShares FTSE 100 and individual stocks. Will add £31 every week for iShares S&P.

They pay dividends, they don't reinvest (acc) for you.

I’m A but didn’t realise that was a good think until I watched this. Wish I inherited the money mind you 🤣

More in-depth thoughts and comments needed please.. “bubble”, high p/e numbers (e.g tesla) and dominant tech stocks?

Great vid Mitch, can I ask your thoughts on Palantir? There share price has had a bit of a rough week.
2
Is your buy to let under a limited company? Always wanted to know the differences between doing it that way and paying it straight to yourself
2
Congrats on your first purchase Mitch - about to start the process myself. Did you get any advice/external consultation on the process?
2
Way to volatile for me, I stay well clear of Chinese shares
2
@MitchShoesmith Not good for our Anxiety Mitch 😂 more ups & downs than a stormy sea. Great for swing traiders but not for us long term
2
