Great video, thank you for sharing - certainly entertains and educational! If I could say anything to the beginner investor, it would be to keep it simple and do not get bogged down in timing the market while doing so. Find investments that are of high quality (companies that have established themselves and continue to grow as they go), double down on them and invest with a long-term mindset... WIN!

Hey Mitch, another great video. Keep on smashing it. Could you please do a video on quantitative and qualitative analysis and how this plays into value investing? P.s how’s the property?

Hi Mitch question about ISA account, if I deposit 20k in one go and reach the limit straight away and than starting making profit like up to 1k monthly do I need to pay taxes? Or I need to invest like 10k and make the profit up to 20k. How tax works on ISA? I'm newbie

With the compounding, you just invest your dividends? Is that correct, sorry if a silly question. Great video and enjoy watching every one

Haha, just did a similar video on this topic. Relating to warren buffet strategy, in 2008 he was holding 45$ billion and only 20 billion in 2009.

Great video again Mitch, I am new to investing and just trying to find my feet. Silly question but if you invest in an ETF im assuming you dont see any dividends from the companies within that ETF?

Mate, you don't even wana imagine my portfolio right now. I'm still buying but yeah.. fully prepared for the worst at this moment. (Well I was until you reminded me what the worst could actually be like) 🤣 but one thing I always think.. People always think this time it's going to be different. And it never is, just dolla Cost average if you have big enough balls. Everything is going to be alright. Its emotional training 101 over here
3
@Mitch Investing its hard, extremely hard at times. And although I'm down 18% on the portfolio. So be it. I've been buying at the end of a bull run, I've been in the game 18months and have another 30 years to ride out god only knows what. If I'm truly serious about investing then I'll be seeing bigger swings with HUGE sums later on in my life. We basicly at the start of this journey my mate

@MitchShoesmith appreciate the positive response bro

A higher allocation towards dividend paying value stocks is starting to make more sense every day
3
Your honesty in next level. Still can't believe you genuinely would show your portfolio. It's personal information. Given to the public.
3
Apart from a 10 stock UK dividend pie the rest of my portfolio is completely VUSA. I keep doubting myself, especially when I see so many people holding individual stocks, but I keep telling myself that keeping it VUSA only is a safer play for me. I’m a quite risk adverse.

A beginners video on crypto i.e. best apps to use, different coins, your own thoughts and maybe a strategy/considerations for beginners 😃
3
£500 a month, for 35 years, at 7.5% interest a year compounded makes 1 million, but how? I don't get it 😅
3
Maybe you could add some REITS. They give exposure to real estate witch you dont have and usually pay a nice dividend. They are also far less expensive than actual real estate.
3
Hey man! Great content. I have a question though as I am new to the stock market. So dividends.. does this mean if I was to invest 15 grand into Chevron and buy as many shares as I can with that, that I would get a monthly payout of 1000 per month? Does it just appear in your account? How does it work? Im using Trading212 by the way. Thanks
3
@MitchShoesmith yeah that makes sense, I’m taking a massive interest in to this so I really appreciate the videos you got up, it’s really helping me understand it more and your easy to listen to and get straight to the point with out being overwhelming Thanks Mitch mate! all the best
