  12. Mr. Robertson, I think you did a fantastic job this presentation. I didn't read the current comments to remain unbiased on any knee jerk/initial feelings about it. Bravo and thank you for your effort on this. Not that I'm a view counting snob, but the number I can see is below 1 million, that's my threshold for an entertainment clip but this was an informative click and was time well spent. Dear Brannigan: by watching your videos and strategically maneuvering at a slower pace with HR, I've been able to do very well buying time for myself to get into a different industry and different role for work, HR actually offered me FMLA when I kept pointing out details in my submitted documents that they were hastily overlooking......šŸ˜Œso glad to be able to use your videos to reasonably anticipate what lies ahead!

I get the impression from watching your video that compared to other types workplace behavior/acts that can be considered bad/mistakes/troublesome, it's not a clear-cut matter of discipline because it's all about interpersonal communication. Either way that situation is behind me and doesn't really need to be resolved. If I have other questions or I want to follow-up I'll let you know. Thanks so much.

  46. I could teach a doctoral course on why HR not only sucks, but should be avoided at all costs. I learned my lesson, like many, the hard way. As a people manager you WANT to do the right thing for your people, for the company, and for yourself. You would think, and we were TRAINED, to believe that HR was there to serve us and aid in people management. Everything in this video and more is 1000% true. Sad but true. The stories I can tell can fill a book.
