  12. 90% of the speeding tickets I've ever gotten were from aircraft. They fly over highways and measure how long it takes you to get from one fixed point to another. Most of the highways out here have those markers for aircraft. They just radio in to a ground unit and the cop catches up with you and writes you the ticket. And usually when they've already went through the trouble of all of that, they're not writing warnings. Unless you have double D's and have a free Saturday.

  17. As someone who daily commutes on 495 and route 9, I can attest to the frustration of left lane campers. I had a lady going 69mph on the left lane so I gave her a little high beam flash to be polite and not swerve around her. She moved over but as soon as I passed she immediately started tailgating me at undisclosed speeds until my exit🙄

  18. As a frenchman I'm so proud of our national little duck car. It was my first car and I confirm it is really comfy and pleasant to drive, and the handling is very good due to the low gravity centre. It's very reliable too. Unfortunatelly subject to rust especially the floor.

  25. I'd argue that driving a RWD car in the snow on snow tires is actually safer because you don't get a false sense of confidence like all the people with AWD on all seasons! Sure, they can get going, but they can't stop or turn like they can accelerate! RWD in the winter is also really good for honing your car control skills at relatively low speeds! I drove my Miata through the last three winters up here in New England and I'm a much better driver for it

  42. I was incredibly surprised on how temperature affected the shifting. In the morning or in winter my Twingo RS shifts just really uncomfortably. You really feel whats happening inside the box. But as soon as temps are over about 15-20 degrees (the right ones), it like a whole new gearbox. It really feels like putting it into butter.

  43. Hey Tedward! This is Erik, the owner. Really good take on the car and exactly how I feel about it. I plan to further refine it in the future with shorter gearing and a little more weight loss. Thinking those two things combined will make a huge difference, especially on a tight canyon like that.
