  2. 7:54 "most people have no idea when buying tires" is such an understatement! Even as someone who has managed and owned a fleet of trucks, I still find it challenging to get the proper information about the various brands and types of tires when I am making a purchase. Thankfully, the technology is ahead of us not only with the tires but the installation equipment. One very important factor in making a purchase is the "quality" of the tire shop you choose. And that's another decision that does not come easily if you do not take the time to educate yourself.

  17. The Samsung Pro Endurance spec sheet states that its a MLC product. However, its Samsung marketing team's strategy trying to make their product better. THe Samsung Pro Endurance uses, in fact, TLC (which technically is still a MLC, just like saying a square is a type of rectangle). many of Samsung's product such as the 970 evo/plus spec sheet states it uses MLC, but has been proven to be TLC. Hopefully this comment will be noticed so you wont be bashed on by other people because of MLC/TLC confusion.

  19. I had a cheap Kidde smoke alarm before, its false alarm over nothing, like nothing, in the middle of the night, it drove me nut I took it off the ceiling. I bought a Panasonic one to replace it, it never ever gave me false alarm ever again, I guess it is the latest generation detector that has very good detection profile.

  25. Thank you so much for your reviews! I'm looking for a front/rear dash cam. My budget is <$300. Is it worth it to get the Street Guardian 9663, or is it similar in quality to Viofo a129. Night/Day quality for BOTH front and rear cameras, (as little glare as poss) is super important to me. Parking recording, wifi/gps not so much. Which would be the better option? If Street Guardian has better front AND rear cam quality, I wouldn't mind paying extra, but if quality is similar, then I prefer to stick to Viofo a129. Thank you so much!!

  30. My V3 arrived a few minutes ago, wohoo!! I can't believe how small this thing is, and the suction cup mounts for it, wow! It's literally less than half the size of my Escort Redline radar detector. I had no idea it would be this tiny! The lil suction cup mounts are like little miniature mounts for smart phones, cute lil things lol! Now its time to read the do's and dont's and get it up and running. Happy day today!! It came with the Transcend U1 32gb card, that should get me by til I get a couple of the Samsung Pro Endurance cards

  31.  @walters8088 the false alarm could have been due to bugs or spiders in the alarm. If so, is that really the fault of the manufacturer? Don’t assume every failure means the product itself is poor quality.

  39.  @Lam  Well my thought is... is it worth having a duo cam setup if you still can't read plates and or see images clearly. Then I rather have just a front facing cam. But if A129 Duo Pro comes out with better quality then it might worth the wait. I'm in no rush. Plus, I'm dreading running cable to the back of the car. :-P

  40.  @Lam  answers to your questions. How did you find out about dash cams? --- Well I've seen dash cams for a long time on youtube.. with funny and not so funny situations. I remember most of them coming our or Russia at first. Being they had a real need for them... because of all the accidents and/or fake accidents. Drivers needed to protect themselves. When did you decide you were going to buy one? ---- I've been looking at dash cams for a while now... at least a year... just been waiting for the right one... as I said in my other reply.... not a super high priority. I rather get quality than something quickly. But I also, dot want to spend $350-500 either.. I'm NOT a driver by profession. Any other videos or articles that were helpful? --- I've been looking at reviews on other Youtube channels and/or articles/forums.

  43. I actually splurged ad got the Michelin Cross Climate 2 from all the research I did into tires. I found so many afforable tires even with high mileage rating, where not close to their expected performance after little wear. I love my Cross Climates and you definitely get what you pay for. I think tires need a better standard for safety.
