  6. I live in Canada and have followed the development of ZOE since documentaries on twin studies several years ago. The money to pay for all the research has to come from somewhere. The large amount of research data from the Zoe program is invaluable and is made possible in part by providing a personalized lifetime healthy eating plan for a not unreasonable fee. The information they learn from their studies is shared in their podcasts, and scientific papers available to the public for free. I think it is brilliant and I can't wait for my personalized program to be available here in Canada. Thank you Zoe Team!

  7. During the past 2-1/2 years, I’ve lost 85 pounds without surgery, medication or paying for a membership or program. I eliminated ultra-processed foods, added sugars, and fast food. I followed Keto for six months and have since followed the Mediterranean diet for two years. No blood glucose monitor. No keto meters. I have semi-annual blood and urine tests. My HbA1c went from 6.3 to 5.1. My HDL, LDL and VLDL are within reference ranges. My triglycerides, fasting insulin and liver enzymes are well within reference ranges. I’ve educated myself by reading nutrition articles from the Cleveland Clinic, Mayo Clinic and NIH. I watch a curated list of credible, academic YouTube channels. It doesn’t take willpower. It does require imagination and visualization to see a better way to eat. I got a jolt of inspiration from being diagnosed as pre-diabetic with non-alcoholic fatty liver and metabolic syndrome. I’m in my 60s. It is not too late to change.

  8. Thank you for your clear descriptions of what’s happening across the U.K. I’m 78 and haven’t had Covid 19 yet, as far as I’m aware. So feeling concerned at the rises across all areas, life was beginning to return to some kind of normal.

  17. I am going to thank you from South Africa. I am 69 years old and feel like a 25-year-old. Zoe is not yet available here, but your channel popped up in my YouTube algorithm because of my struggle with long-term COVID-19 symptoms. It seemed that I was running my life, being a 4-cylinder engine, on 2 cylinders. It has been a long journey but of all interventions, following the Zoe principles has had the greatest impact. I recently went for a medical examination and every important blood result was completely normal. My blood pressure was normal and I have dropped 2 jeans sizes. I cannot thank you enough. I can't wait for this program to become more globally available. I will be the first to sign up.

  19. This decision about funding is so disappointing but I'm cynical enough to not be surprised. Government doesn't want data collected that they can't immediately spin. Hence not changing the symptom message. It's not an accident their COVID figures are so misleading and the last thing they want is to be shown up by Zoë as manipulators of public awareness. I'm not a conspiracy theorist but this seems obvious to me. I'm sticking with Zoë and future studies for sure, and I hope you can find long term funding. Thank you, thank you!

  39. Given my travel and elder years I decided to get new booster recently- believing the benefits probably outweigh any negatives. The politics of COVID mean nothing to me. I'm making a judgement call that booster will give me better odds in avoiding serious COVID.

This podcast once again has taught me one of many very important lessons: Don’t be lazy and take responsibility of knowing the ingredients in your foods- no matter how tedious it may seem.   43. I can vouch for walking . It helped me leave thoughts of cancer at home. Afternoon walks with my Collie/Shepherd Buddy, distracted me from thinking about the pain in my feet, and tingling hands. Herding and keeping me on our gradually expanding course, along tree-lined urban streets, down winding paths, until gradually, I was strong enough to take the ravine steps all in one go, before resting, taking in the river view. Following my instincts, and my dear Buddy, meant never walking alone, twenty-six years ago.

Great informative podcast with one of my favourite scientist who has the ability to explain what could be a very complex subject in a way that retains my interest and significantly improves my knowledge .I have had 2 different bouts of cancer,from which I have recovered, which interestingly occured soon after 2 very stressful episodes in my life .caught early which is half the battle and 15 years later !!!! trying my upmost to live a healthy life and taking advice from your interesting podcasts .Thankyou
