Thankyou Tim and team zoe, never eat breakfast, glad to hear it's not important. Will continue using your app, love the new health survey, great idea 👍🙋♀️🌻xxxxx

Thanks Tim and team, I try to let as many people as possible know about the symptoms on your list, why won't the government take note of your results, they said they would be led by the science!!!

I've found the following simple, low-budget things to be really helpful for GERD: - Deep breathing practice daily (this tones the sphincter he mentioned!) (pick your fav- there are many techniques) - Taking a 10-20 minute walk right before or right after a meal (this helps with stomach emptying and bile flow) - Ensuring that you're getting good quality sleep (important for the gut-brain axis) - Managing stress to the best of your ability (important for the gut-brain axis) :hand-purple-blue-peace:Remember, the gut-brain axis controls the whole gut, including the lower esophageal sphincter and the stomach! Ps. I love that the emphasis is on diet and lifestyle and not on simply demonizing the meds. Sometimes they can be life-saving, but they shouldn't be first-line therapy.

Good idea! Good way of keeping track of one's own health, get a bit of insight, & contribute to wider scientific study.

Love your Black Friday deal.

I love listening to Dr Will Bulsiewicz. He speaks a lot of very good sense with great clarity. Thanks to both of you

Honestly I am currently right now that 60 yr old woman with breast cancer. I absolutely agree. I’ve already purchased a step and doing some resistance training coupled with yoga and Pilates. Thanks for this podcast. You have reinforced what I’ve been advised 🙏
17
Sadly not unexpected. Thanks for all you've done and continue to do. We will support Zoe as much as we can.
17
You really are our go to place to get reliable, honest weekly updates on the current situation regarding the pandemic. We would as always like to thank you all fir the tireless support you have provided and fir the important work each and every one of you does.
17
I hope you get your energy back soon, Tim.

Excellent intro 😁good to see humour, in what is a serious subject. Congrats to all your team for doing a great job. 👍

I have been logging daily since the beginning but it looks like I never wrote down my IBS bloating as one of my daily woes, I am amazed however at how much it has settled down since starting the Big IF (I am about 34 days in). My sleep or rather lack of sleep has improved enormously too. I have extended my participation 4(?) times so far and am willing to keep going as long as you need. I am thinking of trying for an 8 hour eating window as I am finding 9-10 hours fairly easy to do. I think I would like to aim for an earlier window as there seems to be advantages in that. I just read the thing about investing and think even I can manage to get some shares.
17
Thank you Prof Spector- good news of the lowing number of cases, here in the UK - Let's hope by Spring numbers are minimal 🤞 Thank you for all your, and your team's amazing efforts, as always.
17
Have been logging since the beginning and will carry on. If I need info I come to the app no.longer watch the news. Thanks 😊🙏
17
Thank you, I’ll keep reporting as long as you need.

I lost over 2 stone after wearing the glucose monitor and changing my diet as a result, probably out of fear rather than will power. I had no idea what I had been doing to myself. I have no desire to eat the food I used to eat now. Started to eat fermented food also. I feel so much better mentally and physically now. I thought I was just getting old. Thank you so much Zoe although those muffins almost killed me 🤮
17
Proud to be a contributor. I will continue for sure. Well done everyone involved.
17
Well done to all the team for getting us through those dark times and giving us the facts.
17
Thank you all for continuing to push the boundaries with your amazing research. The podcasts are really informative. Logging our daily health is so easy to do and makes us feel we are also making a small contribution as citizen scientists. Happy New Year to everyone involved in Zoe and Thank you again for the work you continue to do

Just Love doctors Like Dr Lee...they Are the Rare ones that Make Medicine So truly Meaningful...Welldone Dr Lee!

Yes, Steve, we have had a lot of rubbish from "experts" and politicians, mostly ones who have adjusted the facts to fit their agenda. What is different about what we get from Zoe is actual experts who know what they are talking about, who have no agenda to follow, and who have the biggest data set in the world, due to the widely-used Zoe app. For once, we get proper information and we are not wasting our time.
16
I will absolutely keep reporting. Great work by the Zoe team!
16
Many thanks for this insightful explanation! Would be interesting now to hear Sarah’s take on why butter is so bad for us.
16
They do retest 6 months later, request it ;)
16
Thank you so much for this because without you, us vulnerable would have no idea what's going on now.
16
Thankyou Tim and team zoe, glad your colleagues are having a well deserved holiday 😊 great info and letting us know what to look out for. 🙏🕶🌞🌺xxxxx

Good discussion. I would have liked to see the issue of heavy metals in salmon included in the discussion. That skews the decision of how to eat more toward plant sources of omega-3 fatty acids.
16
Jonathon, I'd really appreciate it if you did a podcast on Sodium. Like Christopher said about a researcher being unable to get his subjects' protein intake down to a low target level, I find it impossible to do so with my Sodium intake. I'm concerned after heart bypass surgery, and I'm happy with everything else in my diet, but I cannot get anywhere near recommended levels for Sodium. I think the recommended levels are very low in Australia. If I recall correctly, the recommended minimum here is 460 and the recommended maximum is twice that, 920. I suspect the American CDC has just given up and set their maximum at five times the minimum, 2300.

Listened to the whole segment on the podcast. Do a physical activity everyday that you enjoy whether low intensity or high intensity. Low intensity for I, is stretching, yoga, or pilates. Maybe even light weights (10-15 lbs). My triglycerides are under 60. When time and energy level permits, I prefer AM workouts.
15
Do get better soon Tim. Keep your fluids up! Hope you bounce back soon. Thank you for the update whilst feeling rotten 🙏
15
I've noticed lots of people I know getting covid symptoms after having covid positive people around them, but continue to test negative. Anyway, thanks for all your work Tim and team!
15
Massive fan and supporter here. Keep up the amazing work and thank you! Any news on zoe at-home test kit offered in the UK?
15
Thanks Tim, I am nervous about joining the studies but have taken the plunge and opted in.
15
Thank you Tim and everyone at Zoe for your dedication to our health
15
Merry Xmas Tim, thanks for all the work from you and your team. As always, clear and concise, you really should have been the UK frontline voice through all of this.
15
ZOE , great invited guest 👏. You have brought scientific knowledge down to the level of the common man. I've always been looking for something like this because I like to learn and improve my life, and here everything is presented in an accessible form. My top
15
Professor Calder I love you ❤️ And thank you Jonathan and the Zoe team. Sten Ekberg has a video on eating smaller fish like sardines and mackerel to avoid the heavy metals ‘Top 5 best fish you should never eat and 5 you must eat’ 👍
15
What a great and timely episode. I have been struggling with muscle soreness, tightness and recovery after rib muscle injury. Looking at my own low/non diary duet and can see that my protein levels for me as newly turned 50 year old is insufficient. Thank you for clarifying key points on importance and use of protein. Another quality presentation
15
Fantastic work and this has been a beacon of light this year. Thank you.
14
I am already a fan of Dr. Rupuy's DOCTOR'S KITCHEN, but it was only by chance that I came across this video presentation. Thank you for sharing and uploading it on your channel. I will recommend you to other people and I will definitely watch this presentation again.
14
thank you very much for the information...and your work...appreciate it alot...
14
I really enjoy your interviews. And really like that you summarize the info.
14
Thank you Professor Spector- I'm very impressed and pleased to note the Zoe app is now covering the other diseases, illnesses more now, as well as keeping us informed on covid cases too. I have the FFP2 masks now, thanks to your advice, and ill say it helps me breath more easily and gives me the confidence to face public transport - life has to get back to some normality right! I'm so grateful I have this Zoe app and your bulletins to listen too. Much appreciated!
14
No problem with the sound. Informative podcast. Thanks
14
Thank you Professor Tim, you’re my idol! I completely trust you. I follow you and your team constantly. My son is still testing positive after 4 weeks with Covid. He has had a liver transplant and the coordinator has told him not to mix still. Once again thank you.
14
Morning ritual: take medication, shower, contribute to ZOE. So glad to be able to help.
14
I have been following Zoe for the past 6 months just online but have not yet done the testing etc. I just watch the podcasts and get the Instagram help on meal ideas - my family are eating so much better. Its a game changer. Eating healthy breakfast (around 11am for intermittent fasting) sets the tone for the rest of the day. Eating at least 30 plant based foods per week (+ loads of nuts, seeds, legumes etc.) Tim you'd be proud of us! Even bought good kefir! You guys rock. Keep it coming.
14
Elf Tim, I'm glad Santa could spare you at his busiest time. Thank you for all your level headed updates through out the year. Merry Christmas.
14
Looks delicious! Thanks to listening to you on audio books along with others I’m delighted to say that I now eat over 30 plants a week having previously not been a fruit and veg fan. I love my new meals and really love my new found energy and just feeling well! I’m also now a porridge fan so have a bowl each day with chopped apple and pear, fresh blueberries, various spices, raspberries, and mixed seeds. Unfortunately can’t join up for Zoe yet ( I’m in Ireland and hoping we’ll be allowed to sign up once U.K. goes live) but I’d imagine my microbiome was in a sad and depleted state a year ago and that it’s now far happier! 👍🏻
