Thank you Tim and the team. I report every morning for myself and my family and I'll keep doing that until it isn't needed.

Thank you for this week's brief Prof Spector - I'm wearing my mask on the busy tubes and at busy shops, as note locally colds are prominent out there and see from the Zoe app that Covid is rising fast too. I wish to be well this Christmas season if possible ! Will aim to watch my diet over Christmas as per your tips,,more plants, dark chocolate etc. - sadly not a fan of red wine generally ,however I'm partial to a glass the festive season's mulled wine! ๐ Always great to listen to your brief and I appreciate you and your team's super efforts with the studies currently taking place.

Thank you Tim for all your doing with your team I'm looking forward to all the new aspects of the study

Dancing never seems to get mentioned, why is that? It is a great form of exercise. It combines aerobic and balance exercise. If you do a structured form of dancing like partner or line dancing where new moves or routines are continually practiced, it's also great for the brain. It also provides social connection and a great way of meeting new people whilst exercising. The benefits of dancing needs more research and publicity.

Really useful explanation- hadnโt realised I could take lactase when I want to eat ice cream etc!

Fun conversation, guys! :) I too could talk about/listen to poop discussions all day long - so incredibly important!

Congratulations Tim,well deserved.

Top man prof

I run 5k 3 times a week during lunchtime. I always put my earphones on, zoe podcast is my favourite! ๐
9
A superb effort by everyone concerned!

Lovely to see the rest of the team and thank you for a clear, informative post. Also, I really think Tim could do with a nice plant for his next appearance ! ๐ฟ๐ฟThanks team Zoe ๐๐
9
This is SO very exciting. I am already an app user and will be staying in.
9
Many thanks professor Tim to you and all your team at Zoe for the hard work you all put in to keep us informed and updated . I look forward to seeing your videos and seeing the latest updates in England . God Bless you and all in the Team
9
We need Zoe to keep us updated ..the government are yet again making a huge mistake by not backing you , But I want to say a massive thank you for everything you all have done and I will continue to support you
9
What a beautiful, upbeat video. Bravo to the producers and the animators.
9
Thank you for a very interesting dialogue. Am happy to hear the importance of excercise. Having a bowel cancer op this morning, and will get walking later today.
9
Thankyou Tim for a really interesting update as always.very encouraging this week let's hope it continues this way.i always like how honest you are and no messing around ๐
9
I think you need a booster Tim, already. Tan booster that is ๐
9
Thanks Tim as always!

Thank you Tim and the entire Zoe team. Your videos and podcasts have been invaluable to me since joining the Zoe family earlier this year. Would it be possible to do a study on how a woman's gut microbiome changes during the perimenopause? My metabolism has completely changed during the perimenopause and there are lots of healthy plant based foods (e.g. nuts, seeds, pulses, mushrooms, garlic, tomatoes, coffee) that I can no longer tolerate.
9
Will continue to support Zoe as welcome the very clear and concise info from Tim and the team. Well done Zoe. Thanks
9
Finally. Well done Tim. I felt like the lack of response from the NHS . After pointing out on the comments and in questions that Covid symptoms list was still inaccurate. Needed updating. I can't believe it took two years. Knowing many of us highlighted it.
9
Thank you Tim and all your colleagues at Kings College. I stopped watching the government messaging on Covid once the study had started. Really appreciated the calm, clear information. Now over 150 days on IF and have experienced many benefits!
9
Thank you Zoe for yet another excellent podcast. I'm reading The Secret Body by Daniel M Davis, really fascinating, and have just reached the chapter on the brain, so I'll see if there are any links to this podcast.
9
Congratulations Tim , on your OBE well deserved x

My bloating really got better in the first couple of weeks of the Big IF as did my sleep, mood and energy. Unfortunately I hadn't logged some of my IBS symptoms beforehand as it wasn't EVERY day I felt like that, same with my insomnia. Obviously I can't log them in retrospect but I will make sure you have the whole picture when the Gut Health study starts. I am loving the result of keeping my eating to a 9-10 hour window as it comes quite naturally to me and I'm on day 60 something of the Big IF but intend to keep on, maybe even aiming for 8-9 hours if I can and maybe cut some calories at the same time. I have felt revitalised since week 2 of the study! Anyone who hasn't joined yet, I didn't think there would be so many positive results from what is easy and painless to do, if you're thinking about it, do it, it's one of the best things I have done! Happy New Year and a healthy, prosperous 23 to you and all my fellow Zoe loggers.
9
Look forward to the studies. For all non scientists amongst us, participating is one way, maybe the only way, we can help advance knowledge that is the precursor to medical advances.
9
Congratulations Tim, Well deserved ๐๐ผ
9
Great that you are building on the COVID symptom study. Well done!
9
Great work team. Best wish's to the whole team from New Zealand.
9
So interesting! Currently struggling with high blood triglycerides and I haven't seen this information anywhere else at all. Going to get on the treadmill now - thank you so much!
9
Hi, I will continue with Zoe. It's been an invaluable source of factual, relevant, understandable, well presented information during the Pandemic ( & no Government spin). The decision to end the funding is very shortsighted, disappointing, and counterproductive; I'll be writing to Jenny Harries. I'd be willing to donate to the Zoe study - had you thought about crowdsourcing or is that not something that can be done (i.e study subjects donating money). Thank you Tim and team for keeping it going.
9
Excellent questions & most informative answers...!
9
Be prepared for family resistance! Not just from your seriously over sanitized parts of the family but the more experimental members. I took my home made green tea kombucha and kefir to a shared holiday house this summer and nobody would even try the kombucha, which is mildly fizzy drink!
9
You were great. Thanks ๐
9
Delighted to be part of something so important the health of all of us.. Fantastic results and amazing to know that I played a part.
9
Thanks for the info. as always.Great to have this facility
9
Never a truer word spoken that the Zoe nutritional programme changes your whole attitude to eating, forever.
9
This was excellent! Thank you!
9
Loved meeting the team. Thanks to everyone at Zoe and KCL.
9
I love listening to experts like this. It just confirms to me that Iโm in the right line of work at the right time. ๐
9
Thank-you especially for the graph, which really clarifies the comparison
9
Thank you that was really awesome. I do not need this treatment as I have been able to use my change in diet with intermittent fasting (lost 50lbs 2021 no medication) and eating to keep my type 2 diabetes in remission. I do have so many friends who cannot do what I did, but if they had the systemic pain I had; I had a choice of one! This VID is the best information great answers, and I will be passing it on to my many friends and colleagues who are struggling.

Love to join the BP study as I have just been diagnosed with high BP. I am a daily reporter on the app thanks

Great discussion. Dr William Liโฆโฆ. You are always a joy to listen tooโฆ.. you bring great wisdom and understanding to all aspects of health. Much like Jonathanโฆ I struggle to get my parents-in-law to believe that there is a correlation between diet and lifestyle which is so sad. I nursed my Mum through dementia and my Dad with heart disease. Diet and lifestyle seems to dismissed by conventional medicine and pharmaceuticals prescribed instead. We need more Dr Liโs in this worldโฆ.. keep educating and planting these seeds. Also thank ZOE for bring a wealth of experts to our attention.

Thank you so much for remembering those we have lost along the way to Covid.

I eat a massive salad for breakfast. It takes me over 1 hour to make it but it has tofu brussel sprouts broccoli all kinds of spices and about 15 to 20 different vegetables. I throw that into a whole grain tortilla with a tiny bit of meat. During the day I eat all kinds of fruits Etc. I'm 72 years old and the last time I went for a medical checkup was almost 50 years ago. I don't even renew my health card and I exercise 4 to 5 days a week since I was a teenager.
8
Thanks. I will certainly keep you updated
