  8. I am an oncology dietitian by background and it’s super wise re speaking to a dietitian as so many myths out there re diet and starving cancer cells.. always safer to speak with professionals about this ❤

  9. This is Phil from USA. I just had a surgery on my right temporal lobes. They took out a big piece of my brain like 3X of a golf ball. I am still in pain but doing OK. I have some mood swing, headache, some communication issues and low vision. You will be fine for sure. Please ask your doctor for a functional MRI so the doctor would know in advance what would happen to you after they take out the tumor. Functional MRI is very critical to brain surgery. Good luck 🍀 and you are in my prayer tonight!!!

  16. Éireann, I have been watching all of your videos since your brain tumor diagnosis. You are such a lovely person and my heart just breaks for you! As someone with several autoimmune diseases/chronic illnesses, I know how stress and expensive being sick can be. No one should have to worry about those types of things when they are going through what you and Devon have gone through. It absolutely breaks my heart!! Please never stop being you because you are a truly beautiful and incredible human being!

If it can help relieve the stress around calling an ambulance, don't be shy to ask the operator to pass on the message to turn off the lights/siren when driving down your street. I know how it feels to not know and it's horrible, I had a brain MRI last summer and the wait to find out whether or not my head is okay was horrible, turns out I have an AVM in my brain and now have to wait another 6-7 months to have treatment because our NHS just isn't the fastest, living with a ticking time bomb in my head is hell, I can't imagine how you're feeling but keep strong, you got this!!!

  22. Hello Éireann, this is my first post to you. I have watched nearly all of your updates. I survived a hemorrhagic stroke about 5½ years ago, when I was 55 years old. By all medical accounts, I should not have survived. They don't know how or why I survived. It remains a mystery. I have high blood pressure. I also had a heart attack and a seizure when I collapsed from the stroke. I take daily medication. My point - There is something deep inside all of us that doctors cannot regulate. It is the will to live. Some have a stronger will. I can see it in your eyes that you have that same will. You are inspiring beyond explanation. It is amazing to see such a strong super human. I believe that every single person who watches your videos, wants you to live to a very old age. You have so much life in your eyes. I see hope too. Fight for all you've got inside you. You are very powerful! ~ Dave.

  23. Important thing to consider: Always go to the very best big teaching hospital or high-level trauma center with issues like your breathing ... and anything else. They will have the most experienced doctors and the equipment necessary to diagnose you. Going to an urgent care can sometimes eat up those precious minutes before a diagnosis can be made -- and you will probably need to go to a big hospital anyway.

Devin looks a great guy from your videos and very grounded and it's so good that you have his support and that of your parents. Having that nucleus of close family and friends is worth far more than anything the rest of us can offer but it's such a privilege to be a small part of your life too and offer a little bit of long-distance support. I'm sure many others on YouTube would say the same. Don't ever feel bad about any donations you get from anyone - you deserve every penny.   28. You’re adorable. There was a kid in my hometown who had a pretty bad malignant brain tumor at 17….he is alive and well today at 35 and living his best life. I think he also has kids now too. Right now is just a crappy detour in your life but it’s gonna get better, there is a rainbow after every storm ❤

  29. My mom had a meningioma in the same location. Very similar symptoms as well! She had hers surgically removed also. Her symptoms are gone but sometimes she thinks she still has seizures. Also her language is permanently affected but it’s very mild (occasional memory issues for word or concepts). I hope your surgery goes smoothly and I’m and you recover in full.

Unfortunately, I know that Canadian healthcare is in a state of total crisis right now (my GP, nurse and doctor friends in Ontario are all really struggling). Doctors, nurses, and other healthcare workers likely don't have the time or bandwidth to give you the standard of care you need. Hearing your updates makes me so frustrated for you and for so many others who are going through health issues like this. I wish you the absolute best going forward and I hope you are able to get everything sorted to get back home to your family and friends, and hopefully to get the standard of care you absolutely deserve.   42. This really inspires me. I've always had long thick hair all of my life. I've been blonde for around 7 years now and have been on the verge of a mental breakdown from my hair loss after getting my top roots done followed by the underneath a few weeks later.. I think it was a combination of that and one evening of using a hair dryer which certainly didn't help my already compromised hair. You're hair looks great I really hope I can formulate similar results by continuing to take the steps! I can't believe those hairstylists said that to you.. I swear, I fel like sometimes these people are out to get you & your hair 😭

  43. I discovered I had a tumor in March last year, I had a craniotomy and I experienced what you are going through. It's very difficult not to know if you have cancer or not and I know that all the torrent of thoughts eats away at the soul. After six weeks, I received a soul-soothing message: I didn't have cancer. Even better: I didn't have a tumor, but rather the rupture of a gigantic AVM that, unfortunately, killed part of my brain and made my neurosurgeon believe that I had a tumor that was bleeding. Everyone who goes through similar episodes (tumor, aneurysm, AVM, bleeding or any other event that affects the brain) begins to see life from a different perspective and reconsiders priorities and thoughts. I really hope that you have the best prognosis possible and that, in the future, you can look back on everything you've been through and be proud that you won this battle.

  44. Great things are boiling regarding cancer research. Its just a matter of time. The future is bright. As long as it doesnt progress further you have time to wait for the new treatment options. Or we can pray you are the rare exception that doesnt regrow. Seeing how lovely your personality seem, you must have some angel that owes you 😊
