  6. Ok, so I want to comment on the cadejos. I'm from Guatemala and I have first hand experience with them. I'll admit I haven't finished watching this segment but I would like to talk about it. I've seen the black cadejos when I was a child. I was miss behaving and ran away. When my mom went to look for me she said she saw me staring directly in the eyes of a huge black dog with a chain on its neck and fire in its eyes. The cadejo growled at her, turned around and just vanished. My mom took me to a witch (because she is very superstitious) and before my mom told the witch anything about what happened, the witch told her I am being protected/guarded by the black cadejo. Which is a very common thing many witches tell me when I visit one. But as for the white cadejo, the stories I have been told is that they follow drunks or people about to die. They follow them before their death's and protect them as their soul has been claimed by the devil. But this story goes both for the black and white cadejo. Both are very evil in my culture according to many elders.

  21. One of my favorite fruits. Especially while living in the Hot climates of the Southern USA. Where the watermelon is a summer staple. In the hot humid climates where you can easily get heat stroke. A watermelon is such a blessing. Full of potassium, water and sweetness. Sweeter in flavor when chilled and refreshing. I cut them up in 2" pieces and put the pieces in a container in the refrigerator to chill. When all the watermelon chunks are gone I drink the juice that is left. Delicious!!!

  24. You forgot to mention that General Meigs, The Quartermaster General of the Union Army gave his soldiers a coffee ration during the American Civil War. He felt that the increased energy from the coffee made the soldiers better fighters. Due to the Union embargo, Confederate soldiers could not get coffee. Those rebel soldiers on picket duty would often trade tobacco for coffee with their Union counterparts.

  26. Another great documentary, Justin! The Byzantine empire has a very long and complex history and you made it very understandable. It was especially interesting to learn about the interaction of the Eastern Roman empire with e.g Charlemagne and the Vikings. Even in the middle ages the world was more closely connected than we think.

Not just because you're actually present in comments, though that's freakin sweet, but you very effectively discuss the indisputable necessity for remembering that all of the greatest and the worst things in the world happen concurrently. And that makes me proud to live in a culture where content like this can get a substantial viewership. Side note, have you ever wonder if any famous people like your channel? Like maybe they aren't subscribed, but they watch you on some kind of basis?

  33. This is a really well put together documentary. It is unbiased which is a nice change from sources trying to convince you it’s real or debunk it. It’s rare you get an unbiased telling of the stories. I’ve kept up with the TV show and I find it quite interesting. It is over dramatized of course, but it does have some peculiar incidents which seem to back up some of the witness accounts mentioned in the video. They’ve done actual scientific experiments and found some inconclusive yet fascinating things. I do think that there is a lot of information that is kept classified about it. The government has had a heavy involvement in it and on the show they had one of the members from Bigalow’s team as a guest. He had to be careful about what he said because it was heavily implied that a good bit was classified. If you ever decide to make another video on this I highly recommend looking into the TV show, the later seasons have some more interesting phenomena take place.

  34.  @hihihihigihihihihhihhi  I don't totally disagree with you here, but it's worth pointing out that convergent evolution is a thing. Sharks, dolphins, and ichthyosaurs all evolved the same basic body plan because it works well for their shared lifestyle. This conversation is proof that the humanoid body plan works for a sentient life form's needs, so it's entirely possible that someone else out there evolved along the same lines. And we don't actually have any clue what is and is not likely where alien life is concerned. The idea that it would be wildly different from us is no more or less valid than the idea that it would be very similar. We simply can't know until we find another inhabited planet to study. Or one finds us, I guess.

Being on the believer side of perspectives, I nonetheless have become bored with much of the material out there and have been seeking for coverage which is at once more deep in its investigation as well as earnest in its coverage (My assessment of Fugel's "show" is consistent with your own--sensational). I have been consistently and diligently reading, watching, learning as much as I could in the topics of UFOs, metaphysical reality, NDEs, paranormal, etc the last decade roughly. As much as a normal busy life can permit. I can say I am CERTAIN there is an aspect of reality we as yet do not even come close to apprehending in our normal understanding of science--that much has become clear, even after weeding out all the chaff out there. Consequently, it is also my conclusion that all these topics: UFOs, abductions, NDEs, Cryptids, paranormal events and phenomena, metaphysics, space travel--are all related, all part of the same incomprehensible quality of reality, we have yet to understand. So, I am happy to say, your handling of this, the Skinwalker Ranch topic, was exceptional, and I am inspired to investigate your other offerings. Well done!

I have been feeling extremely depressed the last few weeks and I really enjoyed this video. All that you said about how we can shape the future and give something of value to who we hold dear for them to have the chance to make an impact has really hit deep because I've been feeling more and more insignificant and alone and that nothing I do matters and so on. I am sitting here with tears in my eyes because I'm thinking about what you said and I do realize that it's by no means anything special you told me in this paragraph but I had just forgotten these values over the span of the last few weeks. So, yeah. I just wanna say thank you. Your speech just gave me a glimpse of hope and I will remember what you said for the weeks and months to come. You will probably never say this but if you do, I want you to know that you made some dude in a small village somewhere in Germany cry because of something you said, that impacted me in a way I have not felt in a while. Another one that's pretty interesting is the history of the cabbage and how it developed into broccoli cauliflower and brussel sprouts. Maybe the history of turnips and rutabagas?
