  9. Another wonderful vlog. To think I left Bournemouth to start my journey 3 years ago. People are instinctively preparing for something. More people are buying boats and vans to live a free life. A reflection of a shift in people's outlook on life. We've been spoon fed having more is happiness when it's quite the reverse Mrs Mindful. Stock up on food. Take care.

  10. Not only does it show good character in ones personality cleaning the bank but to get struck in an uncomfortable position on the bank while cleaning and still able to laugh at one's self instead of cursing is truly a show of excellent character in you. From across the big pond

  11. I’m originally from Harrogate so seeing your planned routes for this year makes me happy. In 2023 my wife & I moved to Los Angeles to be closer to & to help with our three grandchildren. We brought all our possessions with us except electrical items & furniture & settled down in Pacific Palisades. Sadly 3 weeks ago, nature & negligence conspired & our home, possession & community was destroyed by the Pacific Palisades fire. We have had very little to cheer us up since, but your channel makes me smile. Thank you for a ray of sunlight in this storm.

  16. It was such a nice touch that you done this in memory of my mother. When she was in the hospital she would laugh and smile about your stories, even when she was in pain. She spoke of you very highly and I can totally see why! Your poem about her was lovely and me and my 2 sisters both appreciate it a lot. My mother shared the same love of nature and wildlife like yourself. May she rest in peace.

  24. Good evening Vanessa – it’s only me – I hope you’re okay and keeping well and that you’ve had a brilliant week ~ unfortunately I’ve had quite a rough week. I’m trying to stay as positive as possible – mum and dad aren’t coming up to see me this week as I’ve been feeling pretty rough. We see each other three or four times on Facebook every day anyway, it’s just nice to see them face-to-face– I’m now going to settle down and watch the Vlog/video. I’m staying positive as possible and I’ve got a new MS consultant who is coming to see me this week. To say they have been extremely unlucky in their chosen lifestyle ( victims of theft, vehicle problems,) is an understatement.
