  4. Thanks for the shout out! We really enjoyed working on that Cybertruck. For those that are curious. It is wrapped in a tinted Paint Protection Film vs vinyl. PPF is much thicker and will last longer. Plus because it is tinted, at some angles it looks like a glossy grey metallic color but at other angles and lighting you can see through it enough to still notice the stainless steel texture beneath it. We're bias of course but we think this is the best wrap option anyone has done so far. Our shop is in North Austin/Cedar Park, feel free to reach out!

Personally, I'm more drawn to channels that state their case as-is. No exaggeration, no hyperbole, no sensationalism. But those channels are extremely rare.

  17. My wife and I bought a PAIR of Mach Es in 2021. We will never go back to gasoline. No gas stations, no oil changes, no water pump, fuel pump, transmission, exhaust, radiator, fuel injectors, alternator , belts...... In 48,000 miles, we've saved $1,390.00 on oil changes alone. We save at LEAST $0.10 per mile over gasoline saving another $4,800 on fuel. Best thing is, 92% of our charging is at night in the garage.

  22. I watched this video the day before my interview and I practiced and practice till around 3 am... I got the job!! It is my dream job and I loved all that I have already learned by just preparing for it. I want to share that 15 min before I arrive for the interview my car broke down unexpectedly, but I didn't care. I parked on the side of the avenue and ran as fast as I could to the building and I made sure they knew I was prepared. I just want to say it is worth it to be prepared and to make sure you grind for this interview. No one knows how many opportunities like this will be presented in our life. THANKS FOR BEING HUMBLE AND SHARING THIS WITH US.

  24. At 75, one of my careers was 18 years in car repair. I went to "factory schools" and followed STRICT procedures. It took 30 employees for an "Authorized Dealer" to generate a million dollars in repairs. After 10 years, I switched to "independents" who had NO procedures, only "SUPERVISION" and turned out a million bucks with ten techs. At one shop with just three technicians they generated a million with just trusted, experienced people using common sense, helping each other with each task. Empowerment = income.

I recall seeing some of your early work and you have improved dramatically. I totally agree with your assessment on margins. Additionally OpEx per unit is going to drop rapidly with scaling.   36. FM, the only thing you might be missing is that starting Jan 2023, in the US, don't the tax credits for other auto makers potentially get worse? Meaning, depending on where batteries are "manufactured" (and eventually sourced) and the car is built, some EVs likely won't qualify for the full $7500. It's likely going to be worse for most others.

  37. I am a Tesla employee and Brandon makes a good point. Charging in the US is behind Europe and China, but catching up. Iā€™d never rent a ICE vehicle in Europe ever again. I did a 10 day work trip last fall and drove across The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany in a Tesla Model 3. Every hotel and restaurant I stopped at had charging, I traveled well over 2500 kms and only stopped at one public charger. People in the US simply donā€™t get it yet, because they havenā€™t experienced it.
