Favorite Kaizen Quotes: “The problem with Wokeism is that it literally just sews more unhappiness, it doesn’t produce new things, It doesn’t solve anything, It’s just a constant endless list of grievances. …it's just fundamentally an ideology of disempowerment.” Kaizen “Everyone likes meritocracy until they realize they’re an idiot” Kaizen “You’ve got to look in the mirror, but it’s hard to look in the mirror, so we would rather look out the window.” Kaizen

@farzad you are quickly becoming one of my favorite YouTube channels. Keep uploading X Spaces conversations

for $340k I could buy: MODEL X PLAID MODEL S PLAID MODEL Y MODEL 3 I could buy a TESLA for my entire f-ing family in exchange for their confused looking GM station wagon. 😂😂😂
61
Proud of my son who interned at Tesla Design and is now busting his a55 at SpaceX.❤ Unfortunately it has created a lot of envious coworkers & so called friends.
61
Much respect to Brandon for having this conversation. I've watched some of his videos to keep my ear to what the general automotive consumer is thinking, feeling, etc. EV or otherwise. Hats off to you Brandon and Farzad for this. We need more of this to bridge the gap.
61
totally agree with ya Farzad!! this is the most shameful act GM ever done (and they have already done plenty of them!!)
61
FSD 13 is insane. I have been using it since it showed up on my CT. However, I get the biggest kick when I take people for their first drive when they have no clue that this is even a thing. My 13 year old granddaughter is visiting and we made a food run last night and after about 10 minutes she noticed that I wasn’t driving the truck. The look of astonishment on her face was priceless. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
61
It would be very interesting having this guy back in a few months.

I see a strategy for GM: stuff the dealerships with inventory through the end of the year, then. announce that GM is adopting a direct sales model, and cut loose all the dealers, leaving them holding the bag.
60
The commitment to an autonomous car without steering wheel in place of the $25k vehicle is a huge clue.
60
As a Tesla investor it's very reassuring to hear you speak so positively about working there. It's hard to get a good picture of the working environment because usually the media only covers the few people that are particularly disgruntled. Their people are by far their greatest asset so I'm glad they're not taking them for granted.
60
I love long Tesla videos. As an investor this is how i get my information
60
Farshad: you are a natural on these interviews. Picked the perfect guy for your first interview. Loved hearing the more philosophical aspect of Dave: does not show when Dave is interviewing his guests.
60
Thank you Farzad for explaining this side of the split. It never really occurred to me. I really do hope a split happens this year! 🙏 a 10:1 maybe? It aligns with the 1T cap

I'm a tech person. I'm always amazed how fast the technology improves. I bought a very early digital camera for science/school projects for my kids. It was usable but basically obsolete 2 years later. EVs are in their infancy. There is so much money and innovation going into EVs we will barely recognize them in 5 years. Driving an ICE vehicle will feel like watching a black an white tube TV.
59
Self driving cars also don’t need to get tipped.
59
Imagine what production will be like from the Austin factory considering the plant was built with more innovations than the China factory. Tesla has been able to learn from the China factory. Also, starting from scratch with the Giga castings will make a huge difference when it comes speed of production.
59
Not gona lie when I pressed play and saw it was a ninety minute video, I was like yesssssss!!!!
58
This is art. One of your finest creations yet.
58
Cory is brilliant! Let’s see more from him!!
58
To see this robot in health care would be a game changer for so many countries.
58
I love my Model 3 and the brand. As for Elon, I love his interviews and hearing him speak. I find him to be thoughtful and inspiring. His social media persona, less so.
57
Saying Mary Barra is leading the EV revolution is like saying a hamster is powering the Large Hadron Collider
57
Farzad - what an excellent video. That was sincere advice for many people who probably need to hear it. I think everyone can learn from what you shared. Do more of these and keep up the good work.
57
I think some of the union members pay increases should come directly from executive compensation. Just look at the excessive amount GM is paying Mary Barra for really poor leadership. I would bet there is a lot of that going on in the big 3 leadership.
57
This is the best conversation I’ve listened to in years, honesty and respect.
57
Totally agree. I’m in a union. Creates laziness. It’s all true. I’m motivated and love to work beyond my job duties. I’m told not to do it. So they can being in someone else to do it. After thirty years. I’m now just another lazy ass at the company. Time to retire. Your right Farzad. 100 %
57
100% Agree. I feel compelled to say…. Thank you Elon! Thank you Tesla employees! You are an inspiration to us all! You deserve credit where credit is due! I will continue to invest in Tesla, buying my first Tesla car soon for my wife and a cybertruck for myself. Tesla is making this possible! Made proudly in the USA!
57
Farzad, this is a superb video. You're so observant and explain it very well. Thank you so much for your efforts and clear insights! ❤ I hope the best for Ford who really seem to be trying to transition the best they can, but all legacy auto companies in the US seem to be seriously trapped and likely doomed. Fascinating times ahead!
57
V12.3. In New Jersey. Tonight is the first time ever in 40,000 miles and various versions, I was able to take the ride all the way home. Got on the Garden State Pkwy, through a toll booth without a single intervention . I was so excited to tell my wife what happened. She was less excited. lol.
57
Great stuff. Tesla will tweak pricing and promotional offers to whatever market conditions are to keep growing. Energy will have a huge year and I’m pretty sure not a single analyst has anything in their models for that. I’ve been bellyaching about the collapse of TSLA pricing, but I’ve been buying this dip throughout (trimming other position to finance) and I’ll keep doing so.
56
If you own Tesla stock today, you can definitely start planning for a mansion, a yacht and a Lamborghini.
56
I’m down 6 figures on $tsla and in a bad mental place. Watching this video helped me a lot today Farzad. Thank you.
56
Your circular light is reflecting off your new glasses in a distracting manner. I love the show, hate to nitpick, but would ask you to take a look. Unless you have achieved sainthood and it's actually a halo, of course.
56
This is an outstanding interview! The chemistry, the bromance and the wisdom all resonated deeply with me.
56
LOVE your videos! Hope you and your wife had an amazing holiday!! There is a lot more to the $7500 tax credit (NOT discount) that needs to be included here. 1) As of now, the only Tesla that we THINK qualifies for the full $7500 is the model Y 2) Model 3 base LFP battery is made in China, so that vehicle will get $3750, at most 3) Model 3 LR and Performance are over the 55k cap to qualify for the rebate 4) Model X and S do not qualify due to cost 5) Many will not qualify for any tax credit due to income (max income 150k filing single, 300k married filing jointly). Tesla has a LOT of work to do if they want more of their line-up to qualify. Keep the videos coming. Love the content! Just wanted to shed more light on the topic.
56
As a keen fsd watcher for two years now in the UK this video gives me hope that we may get to see it working in my lifetime! ( I'm 75!) Keep up the good work encouraging Tesla!
55
This is one of the dumbest idea Gary has had yet tbh, I love the guy, but it's not in Tesla's interest to buy Uber, more likely in the interest of Uber. They will put Uber out of business once autonomy is solved. Tesla should just focus on their long term objectives. Love from France.
55
Love your videos, Farzad. I think it's nuts not think Tesla is is going to be the biggest company in the world. They are currently 1/3 the size of Apple and Apple went from 2 trillion to 3 trillion in 18 months. Tesla is just starting to ramp up and they are basically selling 60K dollar iPhones on wheels at a 35% margin (or higher). Plus all the other verticals Tesla has that have crazy growth potential is just icing on the cake.
55
Love this guy. He is exactly the person you want perspective on.
55
I downloaded V12.3 this morning. Allowed it to drive me to a Dr appt and back. No interventions, very impressive. Dealt with a problematic construction zone which has always been a problem in the past! We are oh so close now!
55
These 2 guys. ;) Getting to logical conversations, debunking FUD, and bringing value to the world. Thanks SMR + Farzad!
54
Farzad, you keep coming through with the most phenomenally interesting videos, And all I have to do is follow YOU - I hope you never stop
54
As a former F250 4x4 owner, the truck guys I know are interested in the Cybertruck. It just looks tough. I mean Stainless Steel. These guys aren't into EV's or follow Tesla, but they ask about the Cybertruck. #1 question is when will it be out and #2 price. So far no one asks about range. I don't need a truck anymore....but...well...I would be lying if I said I wasn't interested in one. One friend goes, "but it won't fit in my garage" and I go, "It's stainless, you don't need to keep it in a garage".
54
I have owned a model X since 2016. I don’t care what Elon thinks or how he behaves as long as his employees are being treated fairly and able to innovate to build the best products they can.
54
What makes this scenario even more of an inevitability is that management will make sure to protect themselves because they really don't care about the workers. But in the end they are the ones who will suffer most.
54
Always awesome to chat with you! 📐
54
Instead of ex-workers of a company that have never met before, it looked like a great chat of two best pals meeting after many years and speaking about their favourite sport's team, their best-loved Netflix show, music band or maybe more accurately about a common spiritual experience that changed their life forever! Woow Farzad and Joe you guys rock, THANK YOU SO MUCH! I have just finished watching the 2 hours and taking so many notes.
54
I think Elon makes a very good point about mainstream media reporting on events that they are not experts in and were not there. I can attest to the inaccuracies of that kind of reporting first hand having worked on several high profile projects. Platforms like X have the potential for followers to get a better understanding of complex issues direct from the experts that are directly involved and in closer to real time.
54
If it can make it in Costco’s parking lot, it’s mission accomplished!
