  2. I heard someone say the other day you have to “fight through the suck” in life sometimes. Made be feel better but still disheartening watching savings and retirement dwindle to the point I’m scared. I feel long term Tesla will be fine but unfortunately my long term may not be long enough! I stumbled onto your videos recently and they are really helpful and much appreciated!

  7. There are large subterranean structures and caves in mars, likely the remnants of water flow systems, that can fulfill the role of a habitat. Temperature would be more constant, you'd have protection from radiation and dust storms, etc. Angry Astronaut did a video about it I think

  11. I took delivery of a Model Y in 08/2022, it has been a wonderful EV. I researched Tesla for 1-2 years before ordering it. My main interests were safety, charging network, engineering for an EV. I ended up with quite a long list of other features I liked about the Tesla, I made a pro’s & con’s list. You Tube was my go to source to learn about Tesla and their EV’s…what better source of information than from an owner. It was not long before I was sold on placing my order. When I did I had to wait 8 months for delivery. I am sooo happy with my “Y” I made the right decision. Every time I drive it it feels just better and better I have never regretted my decision. Thank you for your videos I am a fan.

  15. Our entire family went to go get a Christmas tree yesterday and my Tesla was on full self driving the entire time. When we got to the tree farm, I asked my wife what she thought of my driving and she replied that she knew that full self driving was on and it was OK. That is a huge win.

  33. I'm an old man farmer of 77 years. Bought my model 3 two years ago With FSD. Love it. I'm around 240,000 0n the Ctbertruck reservation list. Ordered the trimotor. Hope to get it late 24.

  34. I agree with you. Imagine if GM had continued to innovate with electric cars. My solar panels meet the needs of my house and EV. I understand that not everyone can deploy solar panels and capture their own electricity but if you can, the relief you will feel when you aren't impacted by gas and utility price increases is a wonderful thing.

  36. Having owned both: a Camry LE is a very basic car (a Camry SE, for that matter, is still a pretty basic car). A Tesla Model 3 standard range is a far nicer car, with standard features better than the highest Toyota trim lines (and some are higher than the Lexus trim lines). Also the Camry is a d-o-g off the line or on sudden acceleration (I often thought dangerously so, given how people drive where I live and the need to maneuver out of trouble). The Tesla, even the standard range 3, shreds; it has much more low-end torque available much faster (the Camry Hybrid performs similarly but it's much more expensive). The difference in numbers might not seem all that much but it's huge in practice. I can't see anyone who has driven both going with the Camry...

  42. Comparison between FSD and Waymo is comparing apples to oranges. Waymo operates in a geo fenced area and FSD doesn’t. I routinely intervene FSD to stop for certain activities that a Waymo user cannot so I would guess the real intervention rate would be much lower for FSD. I have been using 12.3.6 for a few days now. I rarely see any real intervention.

  44. I had a long conversation with my brother yesterday and it blew my mind how little he knew about Elon Musk and anything else besides "buying twitter" and "owning Tesla". But he had no negative opinion about him which so many seem to have. But it seems that most people just have this uninformed opinon sprinkled with what the legacy media has been choosing to report about him for the last couple of years, which is the "anti Elon angle". No human ever has been able to manifest into reality the things of the future that he has done, and will keep on doing. And people focus on how much money he´s worth, as a bad thing. It blows my mind but I no longer get riled up about it. Many of them can probably adore and ferociously defend their favourite hollywood actor if they figured in an advertisement for human rights or publicly donated to charity. But a man who does philantropic service for humanity on such a massive scale and with such a mindblowing time perspective so that he probably wont himself live to see his dream come true, him they are satisfied to label just as a billionaire. Hilarious and sickening at the same time.

  46. I don't think vertical integration can be achieved with the UAW. The speed of the slowest person sets the bar in my experience. The fact that Tesla has no union maybe there ace up there sleeve.
