I can't tell you enough how much this reminds me of Buffalo's East Side. Remarkable. 🎉
17
Lived there in the early 90's. Loved that town, but haven't been back since the early 2000's. Worked at a radio station called Super 102. Great video!
17
I'd live there. Looks like a nice, neat and clean small town. Beautiful scenery.
17
Surprised to see an abandoned gas station with its pumps. I thought they were an environmental danger along with their tanks underneath 🤔
17
Did you tell them ahead of time you were coming? It's so clean! It's really weird seeing all the nice cars. Awesome work 💕✌️💕
17
Seems like a perfectly normal American town, clean and quiet. I was surprised by the number of businesses, given the modest population.
17
I started my postal career in Campbell. Delivered every route in the city before moving on for bigger offices/ hours. Love to that city forever. Thanks for this.
17
I was in a homeless shelter in Akron, not a good place. Some parts of Akron are not great at all. but I still love Akron.

I love videos like this on one hand you can look at each street and or building on that street each one has its own story to tell some cases good some cases not so good the story behind each one is unique to that one place the history of what it once was to what why and how it is now I find this subject matter quite fascinating especially the older I get there is much connected to the interest in these old and hauntingly sad places for example entire towns that were once thriving living dreaming places for people that have now faded into eternal obscurity forever forgotten by the heaviness of time itself even perpetual care fades and is lost to time and in many cases just like anything else given enough time everything will eventually be reclaimed by nature one never knowing any place ever existed never knowing children once played in the streets family's were formed and sometimes tragic issues and or happenings impacted lives as well but as yet it is all but forgotten as the heavy hand of time slowly erases all traces of anything that may have ever been My god that is alot to consider and think about sadness happiness all of it has an effect on the life and death of these small towns and or neighborhoods like life itself they come and go and eventually return to the earth that they once were..... Keep up the great work and or content my brotha greetings from West Virginia!!!

Não sabia que existiam cidades assim nos EUA, parece abandonada.
17
That's a 10 on the sadness trail.😟
16
These videos constantly amaze me. You'll drive by 10 completely abandoned and decayed houses and then boom! A perfectly preserved and upkept house and property before it goes right back to the decay.... simply amazing...
16
My Beautiful city thank you for this video ❤️❤️❤️
16
Another spectacular video leaving everything to the viewes imagination without loud music and blah, blah, blah. THANK YOU! Best wishes from upstate NY!!
16
I lived in Tampa from 1965 to 2005 it was once a great town growing up, now you couldn't pay to go down there.
16
That sky is beautiful..forget the neighborhood
16
That church shell was really tragic (10:40). Such a beautiful building at one time.
16
Great to see you back, even though I don't know you I was actually worried about you. You are hands down my favorite person in the world to take a cruise with. I'm one of those people who think there was an old world before us that we just founded/inherited and some of the old world treasures you capture in these videos are pure gold.
16
I must say that even with it's economic problums, it's pretty clean Thanks for your vids, never miss a one
16
Again, I see nature taking over, like that History show,"Life After People". But I still imagine the lives in these homes. When people mention those nice cars in front of certain homes, remember - it is easier to get a car loan than a home loan. When the businesses go, where do the people go?
16
I can just imagine the great men who built those great homes to have a generation destroy them.
16
My home town!!! Wish you could see it for what it is... I love shawnee
16
Live near here in the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia / WV 🏞🏔🏞 Serene drive☺

Didn't know Columbus George was a big town till I got into kayaking.i went with some friends there.what amazing fun I had . The waves on the river is like being on a roller-coaster. Anyone who likes kayaking must definitely go there. It was the best fun I had kayaking yet..
16
West Virginia's geography is so difficult to develop. It's just thousands of small mountain valleys that are all isolated from each other.
16
I've been there! In 1984, we drove up the hills to an old logging trail that took us to a river where we camped. The sandstone hills were beautiful and scary, as there were few guardrails. It sure seemed like a nice little town that glowed in the evening
16
It really is sad to see. I don’t even like driving through there, it’s like a dark cloud over the whole city. That and those stupid cameras. The high school is probably the only nice looking thing there. All those huge homes…..truly a waste. I’m not a fan of gentrification but sometimes it’s necessary.
16
They've lost 75% of their population since the end of WW2.
16
I always loved these shotgun houses. I lived in one, when I first got out on my own, and it was a perfect place for me.
16
Looks like a very cozy clean town. I’m glad new owners planning to restore the theatre. Thanks for ride (and walk part in that cold 🥶 weather)!❤
16
My heart is just breaking watching this.
16
Cool views of the bridge
16
That's a big holler. I can only imagine what the residents were thinking when you drove past!
16
What happened here? Same old story. Jobs go away, people move out, thieves, vandals and arsonists move in. Even the parts of the town still in good shape look totally devoid of people. Most of the town has sidewalks, too, but no one to use them. Saw a couple of interesting cars.
16
Hey, thanks again for showing us what’s going on out there 😐✌️
16
This is tragic really. Who pays taxes on these houses. How does the town afford to take care of the roads?
16
I was born in McKeesport hospital in 1946. As a kid from West Mifflin, I would take the bus every Saturday morning an go to McKeesport...Memorial Theater, Army and Navy Store....lots of fun. I went back for my 20th reunion....everyone told me "don't go to McKeesport or Duquesne"...I now know why.
16
Thank you. West Virginia is a beautiful state. So sad to see the loss of homes. Loved seeing the wild flowers. My mom’s dad was from West Virginia and her name was Wanda, like the name on the bridge. 😊
16
Nashville can get bad in those projects lived there for a few months got out fast in 2018
16
A town of contrasts. The downtown is beautiful, very nice, while nearby neighborhoods are crumbling and the commercial strip out on the highway is on its last legs ☹️
16
What an incredibly beautiful place, but unfortunately, with all the dilapidated houses, it looks like you're on the set of The Walking Dead.
16
Sad to see so much urban blight in one city. My hometown had pockets of it, our downtown was a dangerous area throughout the 80's, but the city is actively cleaning up and revitalizing, even as the old manufacturers left some newer manufacturers moved in.
16
Wow, those old houses are beautiful.
16
Greetings from Greece those videos are true gold !
16
I'm so glad I live in rural America.
16
our country needs to bring back the manufacturing companies. I love this country. I would move to Sharon Pennsylvania. Thank you for sharing this video.
16
Amster-DAMN! I am glad you don't add music to your videos. Just let the sadness be the soundtrack. Thanks for your time. Nice job.
16
Thanks for the night ride !!! Love the architecture on some of the buildings...beautiful Victorians...THANKS AGAIN !!!!
16
I wish I was there with you love this drive ❤❤ watching from Canada
