I can not believe this Its insane
16
Can we just appreciate the camera man always the one to live anything. Even the dangerous streets of Philadelphia
16
That is an interesting town. You can tell itโs had some very grand houses in its heyday.
16
It's always so sad to see all the homeless people and garbage around. I can only imagine the smell! Great video as always tho!
16
Wow I can't believe how bad it is there!
15
this is what HAPPENS when the jobs move to other towns
15
Things have improved but still a way to go.
15
So green and lush! Pretty little town.
15
Better roads than Scranton, PA!
15
thanks for sharing this! I live in WV for over 60 years now, it will always be my home, even tho it has fallen to what it is today it is and will always be my home, the few people that remain here are unique and some of the best I ever met. I used to play music and travel a lot and have never met more down to home folks than those that remain here after all this state has struggled thru.
15
Looks like a mini Detroit
15
Some of those old houses are still so beautiful. Thank you once again for the visit. โค
15
At least you got the rooster sound of the Tampa area 5:58
15
I donโt โenjoy watching this kind of stuffโ, but I do appreciate you documenting it for posterity. Stay safe out there.
15
Some beautiful old buildings that would be amazing restored. Most likely cost prohibitive. Thank you for the ride Hoods N Hollers!
15
This breaks my heart. 50 years ago I remember how alive Monessen was!
15
Wow awesome content thanks I never knew that these places existed till your channel covered it big fan of your channel ๐
15
Thank you for the video. I feel for the people there๐ข
15
What jobs use to be here? So, sad๐ข๐ญ๐
15
Glad to see you say population has increased in last 4 years - there is hope. Cheap property in these little towns could be a great start for someone. There were some nice homes.
15
Imagine you're driving here at night..this is straight up from a horror movie.
15
Looks like a Twilight Zone set, except it's in color.
15
Take Me Home, Country Roads - John Denver.
15
Where did all the people that lived in these now derelict houses go? Do they just move into a different house once theirs got run down? I'm not American and I don't understand the reason why there are so many homeless people and yet, so many empty properties.
15
This blows my mind. Pennsylvania is beautiful country. Green hills, rivers. Where I live the the land is too valuable. Its also not as green and beautiful. Glad you got a shot of that huge junior high. I wondervwgat people who used to live there think when they see their old homes nearly falling down?
15
spooky as hell at night as always the best mega channel /content
15
So peaceful, some beautiful older homes, it saddens me to see such a place decline so
15
another great episode as always great content .but wow holy moley
15
Looks like you hit all the yellow lights. Thanks for your work. May God be with you.
15
That railroad bridge was so cool to see! Thanks for sharing love your videos!
15
You didn't have the best of weather so that didn't help the town look any better! Still some big neat houses. I'm down in Chillicothe had to look this one up on the map, never heard of it. So, is the closest town Steubenville work wise? Love that big white house @ 6:23 towards the end. Can just imagine what that place looked like in it's day when it was a happy place! Thank you! Another fun ride around!
15
Hey come to Milledgeville my home town...we got some smaller version slums and ran down areas.like Macon but a way smaller scale. .but they are about to tear down all the old central state buildings and a couple prisons...would be cool to get some of that on video before it all goes
15
I love some of the houses. very beautiful buildings.
15
This right here!!!! I am a south Knox girl for life and we aren't bad people! Just because you live in a certain place or area doesn't make you a bad person.
15
Its a shame to see such a nice small town so abandoned. Great video. Very peaceful.
15
Thanks. Glad you got a close-up of that gas pump!
15
I see a lot of valuable antiques out there ๐ฎ
15
I grew up in Raysal and travel through this area when I come to visit. It makes me sad knowing how this place was just a short time ago..
15
Quite a few of those boarded up shotgun houses look livable, but the For Rent sign says a lot, too. Wonder who actually owns all this? The state?
15
Beautiful place at one time mow the lawns and paint and you got a nice place again
15
I rode through Selma, Alabama today (my hometown) and promised myself that when I become rich, which will be soon, I promise to fix Selma, Alabama up ๐ฏโผ๏ธโผ๏ธโค๏ธ
15
I picked the wrong time of year to fall in love with this channel. What you do has to take some real bravery but is also heartbreaking.
15
you started in north nashville, that liquor store is very active. i know you see the police camera in the light pole. then you went to j.c naiper/tony sudekum/university courts, on the south. a VERY dangerous area. lots of shootings. then you went back north to the liquor store to aj/andrew jackson projects, a hornets nest. then you drove down jefferson street. then to james casey. VERY active area, alot of killings. then past cheatham place on the north. only ones you missed was edgehill out south, and dodge city out north. the gentrification will fool you, it gets dangerous in the ville at times. not memphis dangerous but dangerous. bless up!!! you also have east nashville bottoms(gentrified now) and preston taylor out west (gentrified now), henry hale/jo jo (gentrified now) north

Oil City: The name speaks for itself.Oil: Black gold. How did his happen to such a place? I've never been there, but knew about the city and wondered how it's doing, figuring it's probably in decline. You answered a lot of my questions. What a shame. They sure keep the churches up nicely. How do they do it? Despite the poverty level, some homes are nicely kept. Sidewalks are totally devoid of people. It seems like everyone's gone to the moon.
15
3:46 on the left used to be a bodyshop where i learned to paint. madison ave. was my stomping grounds for many years throughout the 90s. we had some righteous people that lived from the tracks to ridgewood and we totally ran the riff-raff out of there. but it didn't take long after us all moving away for it to all go back down the crapper. i left daytona in 2002 and the whole area was pretty unsafe to wander around after dark. but i think the biggest downfall of that hood was when 7-11 left and that became a "j" store on the corner of north n ridgewood.
15
I'm quite impressed ๐๐ป I love this town. All the beautiful homes and churches. I'm impressed as to how clean it is. Another great video and thanks for the stats. This really is such a relaxing ride along. ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป
15
So sad. You can tell no money is being used to help this area out.
15
Another great video. Always sad to see nice homes that have been abandoned because owners had to go somewhere else and start over.
15
Glad to see your down this way! Plenty of similar looking places in Ocala National Forest communities. Keep these coming.
