I have to say that I personally think that your comment is really cruel. I have friends who are in the LDS church and they are the kindest people. They work extremely hard and will have your back in a heartbeat.
The parents raise them to be respectful, kind, caring, compassionate people. One of my best friends growing up, was/is a member of the LDS church. Things aren't as different as many would think.
I wasn't ever in that church (I was raised Catholic), but since I grew up close to families who were, I could see what they were like, and most families are NOT like you're stereotyping them to be.
You need to remember that there are always going to be outliers with ANY group of people- religion, job, etc., That doesn't mean that MOST people in that group are like that.
Please try to remember that.

Agreed!
She's likely either a sociopath or psychopath.
She was running away for years from some kind of mental pain, trauma, etc., instead of trying to get help.
And the chance of not knowing right from wrong, is very very slight (and I don't believe even something like this was brought up in this situation).
She did this on purpose, and I would bet money that she was even the type of person who mentally enjoyed this. I think it was after doing it, that she realized how it would change her life, and this is why she's TRIED to put on the show of being an actual caring human being...
A lot of psychotic/Sociopathic people will do these things AND don't think about them during and many don't care afterwards either. I think that's her. Also, therapy and help for these two types of people, is also very VERY unlikely (unfortunately). There are some studies (actually done in prison), that will show that a psychopath can be kind of treated with an almost like risk/reward type of thing, but again... That's very very unlikely.
These people are extremely dangerous, because they don't have an actual conscience, aren't capable of truly loving someone, etc.

I wonder if the Police might be saying that, since they can't find Brian. I've been going through this in my head a lot and nothing makes sense. If Brian didn't do anything, why isn't he talking to Police? Why did he run? Why did he go back to FL in GABBY'S VAN, without Gabby? Retaining an attorney does make him look guilty, but...I can actually get past that, if there was an accident, and he just wants to make sure he doesn't say something he shouldn't. It's the running for me though, and the going into hiding, that's making me think he knows what happened.
It would ACTUALLY make sense for the P.D. to say they weren't connected, in hopes that Brian would come out of hiding, and talk with them.
If he DID do something to all 3 of them, and he heard the PD say that they didn't think the cases were connected, it would make him more likely to talk.
Just a thought...

@EmApostol
I agree!
A lot of things connect for sure.
I know that the Police have said that they "don't think" things are related, but I can't help but think they are. It's way too ironic that B & G have an altercation, then nobody hears from Gabby again (her Mother thinks that even the text she received WASN'T from Gabby). Then this couple is found dead and Brian ends up back in FL in Gabby's van, WITHOUT GABBY!
Him running now, makes things even more strange. If nothing happened, why is he running? Why did he retain attorneys? Why isn't he talking with Police and telling them where Gabby is? Or where he saw her last & why she isn't with him?
Why did he hitchhike with that couple and offer to pay them $200 when they supposedly didn't have much money for a hotel room, when they were stopped by police?
Not to mention, who leaves their girlfriend out in the middle of nowhere camping by themselves, to go and camp alone as well? The couple who picked him up, said that he said he'd been camping for a few days by himself, and that Gabby was back at the campsite "supposedly" working on her Instagram.
I'm not sure about you, but I sure as Hell wouldn't want to camp by myself "IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE." It wasn't like they were at an actual campground. Screw that!
Plus, I'm not sure if you saw the bodycam footage from when they were stopped, but it was obvious that her fear was to be left... That was the whole reason for the altercation that day. She was terrified that he would leave without her. She admitted that. Almost like he'd either done that before, or had threatened to.
Sorry for such a long comment, but I personally think that he did something to Gabby and these people maybe witnessed it.
To try to cover himself, he killed them, and staged it to look like a rape (hence why he told the other couple he was "camping by himself").
He likely hid the van somewhere afterwards, then hid out for a while (when the couple ended up picking him up) and then hitchhiked closer to get the van, to drive back to FL.
I know that sounds like an awful lot, but nothing truly makes sense with either of these cases. The fact Brian is hiding out, really makes him look guilty.
I know it's supposed to be innocent until proven guilty, but this guy is really doing a great job of making himself look guilty AF!
