Who do you think is going to pay taxes to fund your SSI benefits and other social benefits we enjoy? Who do you think starts the majority of startups and do research on the next generation of products? America has a huge technological edge over other countries because we steal their intellectual resources. This is why China and India are concerned and using incentives live lavish government research grants to lure their citizens back.

  22. Now people are starting to question the covid policies after Trump lost the election and multiple Democrat governors have recall petitions against them. All of a sudden, they changed their tune and say reopening must happen. Some red states have been open since last year and schools in those states and in other countries have been open since Sept 2020. Newsom went so far as to move his own goal posts of his tier standards and reopened faster than what his health advisors recommended. All the while we were told covid is deadly, we are killing grandma and save even one life while he goes partying with lobbyists at the French Laundry restaurant.

  29. I am a Republican. I have a liberal Trump hating friend that still thinks Hillary should have won. I end up defending Trump on the media bias so my friend gets snark with passive agressiveness. What my friend does not know is two of our Democrat friends actually voted for Trump while I wrote in a candidate in 2016. They keep their mouths shut and use sarcasm as cover.   46. Seriously, why are we not sharing asylum seekers with Canada? If the United States are overwhelmed at the Southern Border with asylum seekers, why not have some of them apply for asylum in Canada so they don't have to suffer in camps in the desert? If Mexico can let people just walk through to the US, we can certainly let them through to the Canadian border to seek asylum.
