yes, your computer is being used by others

I've just read that "trackmenot" provides such disinformation. But you can also get this (search for them) from using Rob's idea of: "Browser Isolation" and Rob's OPSEC strategies.
2
Yes, signup on Brax.me - it only takes a user name and a password. Ask your questions of us in the New User Lobby and we'll tell you all about how to... See you there!
2
This broadcaster has duplicate posting on Odysee in case of being de-platformed from here.
2
Things just look different on Linux - that's all. Linux Mint is very similar to Windows the way it's organized. If you get confused, hover over every single tiny little thing and see if it's a link leading somewhere else where you'll get another menu. You can't really "break things" with Linux because it's so easy to re-install it.

Maybe these Big Tech places could sponsor education? I think that kids need some education on the "Cognitive bias" field and "thinking skills" area. It would also be nice to offer some education about susceptibility to advertising. Maybe some EDU in marketing, how it works, why it's designed to work that way and how they could make it work for their own "brands" of whatever they would like to sell for themselves later in life.

No, the Wifi-triangulation will still be sending back to your phone's Mothership whether you have the WIFi reporting to you or "off." This feature is embedded in the HARDWARE of your phone. Your phone is still searching around for possible connections from the available WiFi wherever you are. Getting a VPN is the first step because it limits sending of the IP address. Unless your phone has been de-googled, it's sending this info whether you have WIfi on or "off." With Apple phones this happens even when the phone is off!
2
depends on the email service. If you used BraxMail - created by Rob Braxman - at least you'd know the service provider isn't looking into your drafts folder.
2
Now let's hear HOW people can "know the difference."
2
@just_call_me_desi Rob and the rest of us on BytzVPN thank you!
2
Your 'dumb" phone still searches around and uses WiFi triangulation about where you are. Yes, using a "dumb phone" does cut down on other information coming their way. You might consider Rob's video here on his advice about making your home phone used only on WiFi at home (using it as a phone via a VOIP service, Rob recommends "OOMA.") Then the "smart" phone doesn't need a SIM card, connected to perhaps a "brax VPN router" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhzU0NHIBrc
2
well, then Apple is tracking your phone, deciding what pictures are OK to have on your phone, etc. But if you leave that phone at home and don't have any pictures on it...
2
Come to Brax.me and get the low down from the rest of us who are congregated there to help the newbies.
2
true - phone carrier people are becoming sort of the same level of "sales liar" as used car salesmen.
2
yes, and ask them if they would enjoy having an advertiser tell them they have cancer ten times a day...which would be suggestion enough for some people to GIVE Them cancer!!
2
What I'm hoping is that some of these SciFi authors who are brilliant at imagining "world-building," maybe these authors will imagine a way out of what is happening now.
2
Perhaps - get another VPN that's closer to your actual location or isn't crammed with too many people using it.
2
yes! Rob is a super high content broadcaster!
2
@MegaSpambox Don't call the phone number they give you to call. Get the phone number of your own company from your own records.
2
figure out if your Pixel is OEM unlockable by searching the FAQ in Brax.me - which is Rob's site. IF it can be OEM unlocked, send it to Rob - for $130 he will turn your Pixel into a degoogled phone with Calyx on it - because Calyx will easily update itself.
2
yeah, some of the world has become what the dystopia Sci-Fi novels of the 1940s used to portray. The rest of the world isn't so far behind...
2
Rob is now selling Pixel phones he has "degoogled." Meaning, they're Android without WiFi triangulation going to the Google Mother Ship. (Go to Brax.me>store)
2
You can try it. BraxRouter is returnable if it doesn't work.
2
Yes, healthy dialog is a rare treasure - where everyone suspends their convictions about the Truth of what they already know along with their previously held agenda of "how it is." It's true that "Facts" have become "opinion." Nobody wants you to cite proof - Confirmation Bias RULES all conversations these days. I've learned to tell stories - which contain the reasoning of why I came to the conclusions and can contain seemingly divergent facts as well as emotional issues. People most commonly make decisions from emotion rather than fact, actually.
2
@claudiacardinelli1867 Yes, get off FB - that's the first step. Search for browser add-on software to delete all your FB posts before you do. Meanwhile, get Rob's VPN: bytzvpn. You can get a brax Router if you have more than 6 devices or a big household that connects to one router.
2
check for multiple duplication of this post please, I've seen versions of it probably 5-10 times.
2
yes, and to avoid email entirely - and pay for our own servers!!
2
@l0_0l45 Whose channel? MickyLeaks or this channel? Of course, wouldn't you be considered "word salad crazy" if you had personally experienced movie topic events? Paranoid is when events don't match facts. This channel here explains the logical, factual technology behind each topic. Braxman leaves us to come to our own conclusions by giving us these explanations, saving us countless hours checking out various apps for their specific privacy concerns. It's Rob's social network, (brax.me) that attracts (and tolerates) the conspiracy outliers.
2
Al B Why bother detoxing the expensive nanobiotech when everyone buys and carries around phones that track us?
2
Rob uploads ahead to Odysee/lbry before he publishes on YouTube. So you'd have a day for each translation each week. But better than that would be for Rob to select some important topics already completed for translation.
2
True - Confirmation Bias has a strong motive to uphold it's own values, no matter how mistaken these values have become or what the bad effects. Nobody wants to admit they're wrong or that they have been a "fool." Movie depiction (and Science Fiction) are some of the few ways that people can entertain these ideas... Thanks for the tip.
2
@pheresy1367 nope, it's not Rob's real name
2
@terrydaktyllus1320 Good advice. Rob has suggested that if your work requires you to use your own device for work and it's a a laptop, to create a separate work username without administration powers.
2
you can always watch the other 400+ videos on this channel - and take notes!
2
the only one I recognize that's on my de-Googled phone is: F-Droid - check out the permissions for specific Apps.
2
yes, it's called: Confirmation Bias
2
Rob is willing to take a risk to protect all of us. All of Rob's advice points are totally legal.
2
yes, I wonder what we're all going to do as the noose becomes tighter and tighter as the possible options for freedom close down.
2
Can she use the translation feature?
2
@kalidesu I'd never been to jigsaw, etc. before. It's awesome content for a dystopian SciFi near future novel or short story!
2
We're going to need more than the comfort of our religions to fight this foe.
2
Let's hope that doesn't happen. (But there's always Brax.me if so.)

Re: your list of laptops that run Linux - Ubuntu has a list for many, many laptops suitable for their OS. It's at: https://ubuntu.com/certified/laptops
1
Obviously, you did not listen to Rob's video... or just prefer the "devil's advocate" approach.
1
you cannot remove an e-sim.
1
or what one's parents or grandparents have revealed about oneself before age 13...
1
The best stuff to watch is the collection of "privacy" on this channel. This gives the shortest collection of the 400+ videos available. But Binge-watching is also So Much Fun!!
1
yes, we need some SciFi authors to imagine a world as it evolves in surveillance capacity. Cory Doctorow is one...(Writes young adult fiction)
1
@Ragnar0321 can reinstall Brave and it clears a previous Google connection. You say, "main" browser - do you mean "main shopping browser"? Aren't you separating your actions by browser as advise using "browser isolation" privacy safety techniques?"
1
@LiveAndDie4Love use Rob's techniques to separate your companies from your personal life - and each other!
