@ezekielbenisrael1962 but what about! Or you could just engage with the actual comment 🤷♂️
15
One can only hope that there is a Lib Lab coalition. We need a voting system where disenfranchised voters are represented.
14
Cool story bro. And yet there is zero evidence of it 🤔. Oh wait, I bet someone on Facebook said it.
14
I respect Bernie Saunders, more than most current politicians I know of. Not perfect, but more perfect than many.
14
@lestrem11 I don’t know if any companies are thriving except the ones founded to negotiate the brexit red tape.
14
@stevesmith1923 I’ve seen enough Jordan Peterson to know he’s spouts a meaningless word salad. So no thanks.
14
@Carl-hs420a there is no better brexit.
13
@Sean006 Tobias ignores the fact when we had national service the highest rate of tax was over 90%. So tax the rich and spend it on the military, create jobs and industry here. Not trying to do it on the effing cheap.
13
Steve Bannon more like
13
@anonomous8719 thank neoliberal economic policies introduced under thatcher and then continued under every government since. It has very little to do with Europe or Brexit.
13
@lordvadertheleftie9703 what’s insane is it’s taken so long
13
I mean, The plan is: 1) Set up border command. 2) Process claims and send failing applicants away. 3) Set up international policing programmes to stop the gangs. Sounds like more of a plan than stop the boats and hoping it happens.
13
It wasn’t quite the JOB interview, but he did make Farage squirm…
13
@aleph8888 no buddy, we haven’t followed the deal and keep delaying full implementation. The EU have followed the deal.
12
@farzeensanglay7174 troll bots are not alive
12
The OBR really are a waste of time and effort. We elect a government, they really should be solely accountable for policy.
12
@patriciaoreilly8907 recent history? Got an example that’s actually relevant?
12
So you are cool with a member of trumps team saying they should invade? Instead of engaging with it you deflect.
12
By making a comment like this? You are in just as big an echo chamber I expect.
12
@AllanHinde-mb2pr it’s not deflection, it may be why this issue resonated with Elon Musk.
12
He has, dads army for youngsters, send a few people to Rwanda for an eye watering sum which means they get to chose the best applicants and they also send us some of theses.
11
They are Cameron’s Tories reborn….
11
The Tories are dying out. People under 50 are just not voting for them in large numbers. Appealing to a declining demographic seems like an odd strategy tbh.
11
@anonomous8719 Peter Hitchens is famously not a socialist. Try again buddy.
11
@anonomous8719 I’ve seen no evidence of this.
11
This story isn’t a laughing matter but it made me laugh. I was once proud to be British. No longer. He’s not a exception in Parliament, just representative of a number of Conservative MP who’s constituent should ask, is this really better than Labour / Green/ Liberal Democrat? Unfortunately most voters aren’t interested, and thus we get more of the same. They say the same old excuses that they as bad as each other, but really the voter never actually checked in the first place.
11
@Tcb0835 it’s only a Jack when hung on a maritime vessel. It’s an unnecessary and pedantic point 🤦♂️
10
JOB misses the point for a change. Wage increases aren’t fuelling inflation because most people are not getting them, it’s a mix of supply side and greed. It’s being dubbed greedflation in the US, where wealth is effectively being removed from the markets by hoarding and stock buybacks.
10
The rejoin movement has.
10
I quite like the direction Ed Davey has taken as I found Clegg a bit too right wing. I feel like I’m in the same boat and I hope they form the opposition.
10
Won’t someone think of the fascists, they always get misrepresented /s
10
@mrstephenpariah linkear I assume, but Gary Stevenson is a legend too.
10
@lauralishes1 and indeed people served time for. An odd thing to harp on about. Ignore the current corruption that goes unpunished and talk about corruption that was punished a decade and a half ago. He just bat s… crazy.
10
The system working as intended.
10
We don’t have regulators autonomy, we are rule takers, mot makers.
10
He is clever, insightful and considered a National treasure. The fact you ask seems a bit suspicious to be honest.
10
Resistance to building homes are not just nimbyisum. In the southeast has suffered years of hospital and police station closures, groaning infrastructure, roads, sewers, power, data/telecoms. It’s a populist idea that’s it’s easy to build the required number of homes in complete isolation of any other issue. Sorry, I’ve not seen serious plans from anyone to actually deal with this issue.
10
Jon Stewart buddy…
9
Nice ideas, wrong person: he is best suited as a rebel, much as he always has been.
9
Reform, the Christian facist party
9
@littlemissy2883 farage is only convincing if you believe his words. He could have asked the question in parliament to the Home Secretary. He chose to waste his opportunity for social media clout.
9
The plan was to move money from the poor to the rich, and assets from the state to the rich. Been a stunning success for them tbh.
9
What like the one where he knocked on the house of a random person. Who turned out to be a friend, and the TV crew recorded the whole plan on mic 🎙?
9
Wouldn’t have been the stupidest reason to be fair
9
@stevendavis2122 we did Brexit, we left the EU, any other requirements you think it meant, was just a figament of your imagination.
9
@stephenkent1102 for clicks on YouTube I expect.
8
@arnoldmuller1703 the common name for the government provided items you listed are services.
8
We left the EU. We are bound by EU rules to enable us to supply goods and services to the EU. This was entirely known and stated prior to the referendum. We went from rule makers to rule takers. Own it, this is what you voted for.
8
To be fair, several countries could have exited at the time. France, the Netherlands, Italy, all had well supported leave movements. The UK was just first and proved what a disaster of an idea it was. Those other movements died overnight.
8
It was never going to happen. It was an undefined mess with zero hope of easing everyone, or even a small majority.
