Absolutely. Wish we could say it’s good he’s now gone, but sadly the damage is already done. And it’s going to be here now for a long time to come. Now, we’ve got to start fixing and pull the UK closer together.
6
Exactly. We really shouldn't be bothering him like this anymore when we all know what he wants, when these journalists and politicians are just constantly hoping for a different answer that fits more into what they're 'comfortable with'. If we are truly on Ukraine's side, then we actually need to get to them the things that'll help ASAP, troops on the ground or not both at all.
6
Okay, that actually does sound rather interesting. They did say they had done this. There had also been the report that an ammo dump had been destroyed as well, but perhaps it really was just the one oil depot and the ammo and weapons had simply been taken. question is, why did this happen. Was Putin in on this or was it all Brigozhin’s plan to just simply take the weapons? He believed he needed before returning to the front lines???
6
@piatan1632 Well seeing as it actually is endangering world food supplies it really is getting close to that. Although frankly we should’ve done it weeks ago.
6
I still will never forgive Putin and his cronies for what they authorised to do in Salisbury. I was studying at college there at the time and it was horrific to see what was happening on our streets. We should’ve imposed sanctions on Russia there and then, let alone what is now happening in Ukraine.
6
At least we’ll have some nice snowy memories to get out of this while we still can.
6
Ren Stimpy It seems like they can’t even give concrete proof that there even was one over the airport. Just one small blip, and for that they closed the entire flyway. Ridiculous
6
Why though. It feels more like just anti-viral prejudice passed down by people who aren’t even alive anymore that is directed against people who aren’t even the same ones who are completely different from those people of 100 years ago. Plus it’s directed against people who aren’t even negatively affecting the country in any way, and if anything actually help right now with protections for the area as well as possible tourism. If anything attacking the Royals long-term will just make things worse not better. People really need to realise this and start growing up as the Royals have over successive decades.
6
Yep. It worked then and it works now.👌🏼
6
That’s awesome. I’ll look up the footage straight away. It makes sense Ukraine would release this a day afterwards to confirm the attack was successful enough and release it without posing a security risk.
6
Hope so. Either way the fight is definitely here now, whether our leaders want to admit it or not and we're gonna have to have the guts to get involved in the fight before Ukraine is lost.
6
v1art24 I really don’t think a single person would care in the slightest if we robbed these billionaires for everything they’ve got. And if they tried to take it back, we would just kill them. No one would really argue against it afterwards.
6
@shaun906 I’ve been saying that since yesterday as well. They seem to have the same spirit we had in World War II. This indomitable spirit and ingenuity along with the regulars that made us so great they now have and I am so proud of our Ukrainian friends. I truly wish we were allowed to show this as well. 🇬🇧❤️🇺🇦
6
Boris Johnson is a magnet for attention, even when he doesn’t intend it. He’s just one of those larger-than-life personalities.
6
We must all look to his generation for how to truly stand together.
6
I TRULY hope so too.👍🏼 We need CANZUK for all our likeminded nations, now more than ever before. 🇬🇧🇨🇦🇦🇺 🇳🇿
6
Pretty much these days, and it’s unfortunately happening in so many countries when we just want finally a big change.
6
Two days ago now, the Azov Battalion reported they were basically out of ammunition and probably had about 24 to 36 hours left. Somehow they are still beating those odds. Although I did think what they have had to do in order to be able to hold the Russians back at this point. It seems like perhaps the Russians I wanted to take the side intact, otherwise I would’ve thought they were just use cluster bombs en masse on the remaining forces. We desperately need to do something and do it ASAP. We can’t keep being scared anymore. We have the equipment they need. It’s just like he said. It’s just a case of making sure it can actually get to the required destination is intact. We wouldn’t have that much of a problem if it was MiG fighter jets. For now the best hope I can think of until the main Ukrainian offensive truly kicks off, is perhaps some back up of more forces from the Black Sea to push the Russians back a bit, if any of them can get round to there without being found by any Russian ships. Slava Ukraine

I’m soo glad though that the UK’s first shipments of ‘100’ ventilators and I think 95 oxygen collectors have just arrived in India.👍🏼 Should certainly help. We’ve just got to help that eventual shipments will make a difference.
6
Well I’m a university student at 26 years old and I honestly haven’t had access to TV in a few months, which means that only recently after watching Gogglebox I discovered a whole bunch of shows I haven’t heard a single thing about online, which might be quite telling as to their popularity beyond mainstream television. I’m usually always watching stuff that either pirated or straight from streaming services. When it comes to quality though, I can usually trust the BBC, some of ITV and a lot of Channel 4 to be a very good quality broadcasting, and if I see something that really stands out then I will usually jump on it and if I can get it live then all the better. It might be the divide inside me between how are used to watch television all the time and how since starting education away from home I’ve just heavily switched towards streaming services instead.
6
Your response is literally the opposite to how it should be. This is common sense falling down the wayside and it’s terrible news. How can so many still support this ancient form of power and metallurgy when there are alternatives already being used now in mainland Europe.
6
That is absolutely right. I don’t think that some of the general public or even the media are quite willing to accept this. Especially if there are going to be casualties on the Russian side as well. Collateral damage or the loss of your own Nationals is going to be inevitable in a war. We just must all strive to make sure that these are minimised as much as possible. If we were not prepared for this, we never would’ve won a single war in history. Least of all WWII. Our governments might not be happy with this, but the general public around the world are still aware that it is our belief in the collective responsibility of each other to try and do as much as possible to help, and if that means actually putting our own lives at risk, which is our own right as living sentient beings, then so be it. We can only hope that any of our lives and in as little suffering as possible and that what we have done has been meaningful to ourselves or has helped others.
5
I feel the same way. Our countries should be fighting with Ukraine RIGHT NOW, but we our to scared to do what is it. If I had the balls to do what these men have been doing for YEEEARS NOW I would be fighting along side them.
5
There’s definitely a 50-50 on this. Both they need the space to be able to get away, but at the same time they need as much up-to-date information from inside the city as possible because none of the journalists can get in. They have no choice unfortunately, on both ends.
5
This is such a relief at least. No one was going to touch the idea of actually paying for Russian oil and gas in rubles. It would be a spit in the face of Ukrainians and a humiliation for all of our nations to do so.
5
It’s not up to Pootin.
5
The whole of the UK will not look away from this and we must continue to try and pressure of government to do everything it can directly to help.
5
My god. Just imagine something like that happening whilst posing in your wedding dress.😔 The clash of imagery is just too much. Both beautiful, horrific and sad all at the same time.
5
We need to actually bloody well help with getting more of the heavy military equipment to these areas right now. We critically need to get more of the long-range weapons both missiles and artillery to the Donbass including armoured military vehicles. The UK was supposed to have sent these by now yet we haven’t seen any images whatsoever of the UK built Mastiff armoured vehicles or any other tracked vehicles from the UK even though it seems the Australian Bushmasters and the US howitzer guns are already in Ukraine. This is very suspicious and we need answers.
5
We will never forget Her Majesty. How could we. This was a lovely way remember the late Queen for the two year anniversary.
5
Most indeed
5
I couldn’t agree more.
5
Oh yes, it is definitely the kind of thing they would lie about in the face of this kind of embarrassment.
5
Oh they will be. Putin won’t give up, that asshole.
5
That really is suuuch and great and wonderful honour indeed. Slava Ukraine and God Save the King.,
5
That’s what we need to do. Israel needs to send over some of their equipment used in the Iron Shield defence. Now that would make a big difference. They have been constantly bombarded yet we aren’t hearing any news about how they are able to take out the launching and firing locations in the first place. I can imagine they’re trying to keep moving, but surely they can be taken out from the air at least? What do we have exactly in the western arsenal that we used to take out siege weapons like these? Aside from drones that has got to be another option? They can’t just keep waiting for the city to be flattened. I know the Ukrainian forces are trying to build up enough of a defence to push forward when the Russians come at them, but surely they’ve got enough at this point to try and push out a little bit with some feelers to see if they can take out the launch sites from the ground?
5
The Australian bush fires was, and still is far more important than anything that’s going on right now. Sorry people, but it is.
5
I couldn’t agree more. This poem was made for people like this. They are true heroes to all of us.
5
Yeeep, VPNs are highly recommended around the world now. Both in Russia and most DEFINITELY in China. He was right to do this.
5
That’s been my motto for years now.
5
Not to mention, we can actually weeded out the bad ones and just bring in those who can actually fit in our society. The latter part is a big ask, but it’s what we should be doing.
5
Here here. What they’re suggesting doing here now is the last straw and absolute insanity.
5
Exactly. To start with this technically doesn’t count to genocide. Got to sadly state the fact here. It’s just a very handy slogan tag. The people of Gaza aren’t different from other parts of the Middle East, so it can’t technically be counted as a genocide. Massacre though, perhaps yes.
5
Absolutely. Reparations culture needs to end ASAP.
5
This whole virus seems frankly to have done more good in the long term than harm. I mean, I know it’s terrible that over 200,000 people worldwide have died now, but literally millions of people die every year altogether anyway, but we never see anything like this in terms of our environment, and in the way society has reacted as a whole. I can definitely see us for one thing taking a lot less flights and driving all over the place after this.
5
@Altinget Exactly. All of this anti-royal rhetoric crap is just completely pointless in the 21st-century now, and it’s just about people who are not happy with their lives wanting to be able to direct their anger at someone. People just determined to tear down something that’s there just because it is shining just so they will be on the same pedestal as them.
5
What absolutely nonsense. We just ‘genuinely’ want the people of Hong Kong to be free from the CONSTANT OVERBEARING THREAT to their own freedom of free speech, free thinking...heck ever their own free will.
5
@borrisbunion939 Just IMAGINE how brilliant it would’ve been if they had just walk riiight over them.😆👌🏼😎💪🏼
5
I FULLY SUPPORT Greenpeace here. WELL DONE CHAPS.👏🏻👏🏻 This needed to be done. Rishi has betrayed aaaaall of us with these new oil and gas licenses. THEY MUST BE STOPPED.
5
That is why we need to massively increase win turbine and solar panel production in the interim. We can do it but it hasn’t been pushed fast enough due to local areas having the choice over planning permission for where they can actually be installed because people have been absolutely whining babies about it. If all of that was thrown out of the window we could actually have a vast amount of a country running purely on renewables. Hopefully this will actually start happening soon otherwise people are going to start feeling it in their pockets SOON.
