  1. This is a wonderful program filled with hope. I'm happy to see the religious doing something good because that isn't often the case. I'd love to see this incorporated into every prison's reform program, minus the religious part. I love seeing these dads getting coached on how to be a dad. They might not have ever experienced that. Those kids love their dads. ❤😢💔

  4. I'm hearing no remorse, only excuses. She only said "I" one time. The rest of the time she said "you", which is very telling. It's one thing to make a genuine mistake, but she overrode the computer, didn't read the label, ignored the orange warning cap, administered a deadly dose of the wrong medication, never noticed her error, and then made a bunch of excuses. What else should it take for a nurse to be held responsible?!

  8. I hesitate to point this out, but did anyone else notice the grammatical error he made? He's got a 4.58 GPA, but then said, "... it's important for both me and my family." LOL Who cares? Probably no one, but it was a bit ironic. I wish him well! 🙂

  9. What a beautiful family who are enduring a tremendous loss. That water sport company was obviously in the wrong. We had a ski boat growing up and ALWAYS had someone watching whoever was in the water. There is no way we would have gone out without an observer. And that just our little family camping trips. It's unconscionable that a water sport business wouldn't have basic safety measures in place. How absolutely devastating for the family. There is no silver lining here, but to bring awareness rather than a law suit speaks volumes about their character.

I can only imagine the disgust the victims' families might have knowing he's being catered to with his vegan diet. 🙄 I'd like to see those who made accusations against a bunch of other people come clean and admit they were totally wrong. None of them showed any concern toward taking part in destroying innocent people's lives.

  16.  @pewpew7902  I didn't say I knew exactly what happened here, but I'm also not going to assume everything they said is exactly what went down. People seem to want to believe horror stories, when this type of thing is extremely rare, which is why it was on the news. I just find it extremely hard to believe. At the very most, it was due to one person's wrongdoing, which would cancel out the second appraisal. First of all, comps aren't chosen according to demographics, they're chosen according to similarities. It wouldn't make sense for an appraiser to look in a "predominantly black neighborhood" for a comp. That just doesn't happen. Secondly, if the first appraiser was racist, then there would be no reason to "whiten" the house for a different appraiser. It seems very apparent that the homeowners look for ways to be offended and I can't say that didn't play a part here, but I don't know. There isn't enough information shared in this interview to know one way or the other. I'm just saying it's highly unlikely that "whitening" their house had and affect at all. Their "experiment" shows nothing, as it's not how proper experiments are done. As doctors, they should know that.

People are just all too excited to make assumptions about racism here in the US. The fact that no evidence was shown speaks volumes to me.

  24.  @nicki7503  I was referring to "God bless those babies", and also this whole idea of living happily ever after, which sounds good, but is far from reality. Those children have been brainwashed, starved and manipulated. It will take lots and lots of therapy, support and personal will to even create somewhat of a "normal" life. 😢

I wish these kids nothing but healing and joy, but my wishes don't help them. They have a lot to sort through. Hopefully they have a lot of positive support surrounding them.
