Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the UK need to stick together in this uncertain world.
2
The Daily Mail wish it did have 17.4 million readers.
2
What about all the the biased pro remain TV 'news' like Channel 4?
2
Remain activists like Channel 4 are going to lose all credibility on a no-deal Brexit when everyone sees project fear was nothing more than fake news.
2
You're not really comparing like with like. Washington alone is bigger than England with 45 million less people. When I visited the Pacific Northwest I was surprised at the extent of industrial waste burning.
2
The best possible outcome - for the EU.
2
@Hazed64 Yeah - some people just live in their lifetime..
2
She seems like a talented girl, but she needs to forget this independence nonsense and join the Labour Party.
2
If there's a general election between a Boris no-deal Brexit and a rainbow remain second referendum Corbyn led alliance - the 2016 Labour leavers will vote for Boris and the 2016 Tory remainers will vote for Boris... If there's no remain alliance, first past the post will hand Boris a landslide.
2
It's not up to the people - it's up to the politicians that represent the people.
2
For you this is true, but for other people the opposite is true. The best way a society can get resolution on different political opinion is for everyone to hear all the arguments and have the electorate vote. This system is called 'democracy' and the only possible alternative is called 'fascism'. Fascism is when some members of society believe their ideas are more justified than opposing ideas and inevitably they impose policies on society by using propaganda and fear. In 2016 the UK had a fair referendum, there was record participation and the result was that the UK should leave the EU. So please stop being a fascist.
2
Every anti-Brexit warning comes from a pro-EU activist... Go figure!
2
'Norma the Korma' wasn't spicy enough for 'Poppadom John' ... Why believe a man who lied to his wife?
2
When was the last time C4 interviewed a Conservative Leaver and a Labour Leaver - let alone without a single difficult question or interruption or healthy drinks and carrot cake?
2
This is what EU free movement has done for us. Too many people bidding for too few jobs equals low wages and too many people bidding for housing equals high rents. low wages + high rents = poverty.
2
Well, you're entitled to your opinion but, we had a vote and the people that shared your opinion lost. A longer campaign would have seen Leave win with a higher margin, as Remain began ahead in all polls. The probability is that a majority of those that, did not or could not vote, would want Brexit as 33.5 million actual votes is as good a sample as you're going to get.
2
I think you couldn't be more wrong. The people of the UK have never been interested in the EU. Probably less than 20% are willing participants - unfortunately these people have had control of the main political parties. When the UK leaves these people will be politically defeated.
2
@sven4627 Who's stealing whose sandwiches?
2
@Misterlikeseverythin I think I speak for everyone in the UK if I say: We in the UK want to maintain good relations with EU countries. I think the real problem for the UK was that, we also have longstanding relationships with other countries. Yes, politics can become very unrealistic at times. The vote was close, it was not what most politicians wanted and there was a process to go through.
2
What about his 80 seat majority makes you think that?
2
Pro EU MPs should stand down as their 'vision' for our country has been rejected by the people.
2
@ciaranbrk You were talking about a "customs border" not the 'EU court of human rights' - where does it say ROI or UK must not leave the EU? What has mutual trade regulation between two separate countries have to do with 'human rights'? The 'Common Travel Area' has not been changed by Brexit.
2
That's one way of skirting around the facts.
2
Are you enjoying the sunshine in your wellies?
2
@onsight2822 I can think of 3 people I know that have 100% changed from Remain to Leave - their main reasons are: 'Democracy', the Remain MPs refusal to implement the vote', 'the EU's attitude' and 'the UK would be pushed about and punished/humiliated if it crawled back'. I can't think of anyone I know that has changed from Leave to Remain. I also think their wives voted the same as their husbands and would also change to Leave.
2
Haven't seen a video of Crick interviewing Bloom the day after the Brexit referendum...
2
@nickoforesta5788 Where did she commit perjury?
2
@trevordaviesable What lies did Leave tell?

@pudpullertm Is it up to the customer how much the TV or sofa costs? I don't think so! It's up to DFS whether they want to allow the customer discount and up to the customer whether to buy the sofa. The UK has now decided it doesn't need a sofa or a TV as the UK is not a couch potato. The £350m figure was correct in the context of a referendum about UK independence from the EU. This is because the UK would be using this money to fund the NHS 'instead' of handing it to the EU. This has to be the case as long as NHS funding exceeds £350m per week. If you get a pay rise or stop paying a gym membership, are you or are you not using the extra in your account to pay for your groceries? https://www.statisticsauthority.gov.uk/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Letter-from-Sir-David-Norgrove-to-Foreign-Secretary.pdf
2
Voters will be asked how they voted in the referendum and if the response is to leave the EU, they will be asked: 'Why give your vote to a person who does not respect your vote?'
2
Give it up you pathetic losers - talk about 'flogging a dead horse' - 75% of Remain voters are OK with the result.
2
I wonder if Channel Fake News understands by falsely smearing Reform UK with racist slurs it makes decent fair-minded people reluctant to tell pollsters they intend to vote Reform UK. I think they will smell the coffee on Friday...
2
Scotland must have a similar history to Bulgaria if you can understand what she's saying.
2
@williamdfr1715 Southern Irish are moochers - they have taken £50 billion out of the EU in handouts and there's only five million of them.
2
One of my main reasons for voting out was to put an end to a minority of political class dividing our nation. If you go to most countries you find peoples with one object; to make their countries better places. We need to come together around our Union Flag and show the world how to live.
2
So, the EU doesn't allow EU people to watch UK bands and somehow this is the UK's fault?
2
People like him claiming to have voted Leave should have their ballot papers dug out.
2
@titanstonecrusher8917 WW2 was about countries coming together to defeat Hitler. Everyone knew that Germany was murdering innocent civilians.
2
The electorate did not vote for this deal. The word 'deal' was not on the ballot paper. The people voted to 'leave'. The choice was to clearly mark a 'LEAVE' box or a 'REMAIN' box. The Oxford Dictionary definition of 'leave' is "Depart from permanently" . The referendum was not an exercise in proportional representation it was very clearly winner takes all... What's not to understand?
2
You didn't listen to the video which clearly said: "This 300 mile stretch will be the brand new external border of the European Union" You followed the bitter mob and turned your back on the UK to become a non-entity in the European Union. Hope that works out for you.
2
Aminah Saleem What point are you trying to make?
1
FutureSoundStation 'further enhancing the division of wealth' .....What the f*** is that supposed to mean?
1
FutureSoundStation Agreed many in UKIP are the same set that supported Thatcher and Heath (who ironically joined the UK to the EU after pledging not to). It was 'Old' Labour that opposed EU membership and gave the people an in/out vote. Thatcher opposed the idea of referendum saying the British people were too ignorant to understand the issues. There is now opposition to membership on both the left an right. I see proposed UKIP domestic policy as a distraction, the fundamental issue, is whether the UK would be better of as an independent country. What UK lefties don't get is what if the boot is on the other foot and they don't like EU policy....'Independence' is a word with a meaning.
1
FutureSoundStation So hardly an 'enhanced' situation then.
1
FutureSoundStation My point is many on the left support withdrawal from the EU. That it’s a fundamental issue which supersedes partisan politics. A recent poll showed that 52% thought UK would be better off out of EU a figure set within the context of a pro EU government and opposition parties and pro EU news media and actually being in the EU. We are one of the largest economies yet apparently the EU and UK governments have never wanted the UK to adopt the Euro...Really?? They've wanted/want the UK in the eurozone aright - they just know the British people would never agree to it in a referendum and that would reveal the underlying reality that the British people don't want to be a part of the EU superstate project. Which of course, is why the UK is being topped up with 'yes to EU' voters.

+GeorgeAmsterdam How can 'the working class have more rights than anyone else'? What a completely stupid statement! We don't have rights as per social class you total dummy! And who do you think paid for Cameron to have a plant removed from his chimney? Or should I say our chimney because we probably paid for that too!
1
Ophelia De Beaufort So who told you the BBC and C4 are left leaning? It wouldn't by chance be the same people that told you Chuka Umunna was the feared candidate would it? The BBC and C4 are very pro Tory and I don't blame anyone for thinking otherwise because it's all very well executed. You have to balance your argument that the BBC is left leaning with the fact its political editor was chairman of the Young Conservatives and president of the Oxford University Conservative Association and his deputy was at Eton with Cameron and ten years with The Times. So even before any analysis there would have to the assumption that these people have not become left-wing propagandists as they've matured.
1
Barry Allen He was there for one reason only. The Tories are rattled by Corbyn's popularity. Even if C4 was in on it so they can use the line 'The Tories voted for Corbyn and we even found one at a meeting'.....It still amounts to the same thing - they're scared.
1
Ophelia De Beaufort Just look at BBC coverage today clearly suggesting three pound supporters will give Corbyn the edge. Corbyn has most constituency support voted by rank and file door knocking members - but did the BBC want to mention that?....Nooooooooooo! It's all propaganda serving the super rich.
1
autofreak7 The government should buy-up/do-up apartment blocks in London and supply an apartment for each constituency and an office with a paid secretary in each constituency and let MPs manage their own house buying like they expect everyone else to do.
