@ingridschmid1166 the Torys have shifted from "the party of business" to 'the party of businesses that donate to the Torys'. The distinction may seem subtle but it leaves a lot of businesses (& all of the people) out of consideration.

No, but they could sell off the sheds to recoup their losses, I expect freight forwarders would love the warehousing space.
3
@brendanbarker6403 Assaf Kaplan was hired to oversee the death of the party that elected Corbyn.
3
Oops, sorry, it was Treasury secretary Liam Byrne.
3
By passing Laws – the purpose of the Judiciary is to enforce the Law. Of course, this is totally unrelated to Cabinet Ministers coincidentally being members of the same Gentlemen's Clubs as Judges.
3
@childoftheuniverse2644 CambridgeAnalytica were employed for several million Pounds because they were very very good at their job, couple that with Robert Mercer's new psychographic targeting & those targetted had zero chance of making their own decision despite believing they had made their own choice. Even then, if 650,000 (1% of the population) had voted the other way the result would have been reversed. But you know all this if you've been keeping you so you must be trolling.
3
@capt.bart.roberts4975 whyever not? If they're criminals they need criminal sanctions.
3
...Contempt of Parliament & Contempt of a Parliamentary Committee. Is this the hearing that's under Oath? If so he's watching out for Perjury.
3
@mariogmajner6549 Alex doesn't have that power.
3
@mariogmajner6549 true but not relevant to this conversation. My binman has no shame but that's also irrelevant.
3
you may be thinking of Wat Tyler rather than Guy Fawkes
3
Lebedev, Rothermere & the remaining Barclay brother are all UK-resident citizens. I believe Lebedev even pays tax here. The solution is a regulator as specified by Leveson, one exists (IMPRESS) but newspapers are currently entitled to select their own regulator.
3
That's my expectation – beaches around the world beckon & when he's bored of that much of his money lives in the States 😂
3
@Spac3d1 Alexander Lebedev calls him Sascha - short for Alexander
3
Even if it had been forced to a vote the Torys would have voted for it because it gives them a scapegoat. They can say "they did it & we've sacked them so we're all ok now".
3
@nopants4259 Baby Boomers? Those born late in & soon after WWII? When critical thinking was still taught & encouraged at school? Oh, ok then, I'm sure you're right.
2
@trident6547 the treaty establishing the ECSC was signed in Paris in 1951 & ratified in 1952, apart from that you're spot-on.
2
@emm_arr if it still works, why not?
2
@emm_arr stupid for the world's 6th largest economy to put its citizens in that position? I agree.
2
@emm_arr and there was me thinking it was you doing the trolling! 😂
2
almost all articulated refrigerator trailers have a Diesel engine working the chiller - it's what's in the bulge at the front
2
Blair made a start on that with Registers of Members Interests which are published on Parliament's website. You can see who has paid each MP more than £500 & why. There's a similar one for Parties held on the Electoral Commission's website.
2
@Serpsss that website looks useful, thanks for persisting with Youtube's 'quirks'.
2
no, USA taxes everything, worldwide, even if you're taxed by the country you're in though sometimes there's a 'credits' scheme instead of cash if you can prove you've already paid the local country.
2
@happyguilmore4253 has she? Please say more.
2
Phil did not mention tidal, nor did he say GB Energy will either produce or sell energy. It won't. We already have a fund for donating to startups & innovators, I don't see why we need another.
2
@maureenharris8255 I think he's talking about PPI (Payment Protection Insurance or some such), a Government-backed scheme that ended up with spam phonecalls & scandals in the Press during Blair's tenure.
2
knowing they've killed a quarter of a million with Covid & a further more than quarter million with everything else probably doesn't help much :'-(
2
points 2 & 3 are challenged by looking around at PR elsewhere, normally government is by coalitions not by individual parties & where one coalition member insists on something daft the coalition collapses.
2
@DesperateDigger666 Patel has called for the reintroduction of capital punishment, she's even done it on panel shows on TV.
2
@mickeysmouse4800 jail is not enough.
2
@mariogmajner6549 yes, that's what #Leveson2 is about
2
John Major called them "bastards" during his tenure as PM but he kept them in check enough that his party still functioned.
2
@davidmcculloch8490 A party whose Leader didn't get his position by Treason?
2
Andrew Marr took it to the next level & called him out in a lie
2
@lonevoice you're putting too much attention on debt, it really isn't that important (though Labour clear it every time they get in power). Japan has been running 250% debt:GDP for many many decades & they're doing just fine.
2
@therealrobertbirchall Eaton make gearboxes & axles for lorries, I suspect you're thinking of an educational charity, Harrow perhaps? Or maybe Eton?
2
@normanclark933 as explained in other comments here it's faster.
2
@bereal6590 my comment "you're making yourself look stupid" was meant more as a helpful hint than anything else; your 2-word "Tory bot" comments, repeated against different named people & against evidence really don't improve your projected image.
2
@ab-ym3bf the English have a tendency to suddenly boil over when pushed too far, several politicians have died of that over the centuries.
2
@gdwnet that is exactly the problem, if we voters cannot believe our main information source, the Press, how are we to perform our role in our democracy? Without a believable Press our democracy is dead or at least severely harmed.
2
@GafftheHorse in theory we have that in the Courts but they need a serious kick up the backside to start doing their job.
2
the camoron/pig thing was a product of isobel oakshott's deranged mind. It worked because many people thought him capable of it (I don't believe he has the equipment though I don't want to check)
2
@stonehengemaca jailing the first one is adequate warning.
2
@bereal6590 which is why it's lucky we have such a large HoL, the Government insertees are swamped by those who take their role seriously. Also, the majority of Government insertees were only granted peerage as thanks for donations & don't actually turn up.
2
@MazzaEliLi7406 it's a little longer than that, there were memes on the topic featuring Mrs May
2
Inept or corrupt? Mr Sunak owns a hedgefund...
2
Mostly by selling it to countries that can't produce their own biogas or do away with gas. The revenues go into their Sovereign Wealth Fund which benefits everyone.
2
🤣😂
2
Greens are offering community energy projects like the street with solar panels that gets in the news occasionally or the amazingly successful German villages & towns.
