Schiff even called a break after Sondland's testimony to give Nunes a break. He didn't need to show that much kindness.

@arniec66 He resigned because of bogus claims of sexual harassment, from a devote Republican, with an axe to grind. I think sexual harassment is terrible, but this woman's claims were made for purely political reasons.

You're insane. We are extremely fortunate to have Manchin. No other Democrat could be elected in his state, and then McConnell would still be in control. As to Sanders, the man who said the government should control the means of transportation, manufacture and banking, no thanks. We say that experiment, in several countries, and it was always terrible for the people. Sanders never met a Marxist totalitarian dictator he did not love and support, no matter how violent and repressive.
3
@gerardsmadja1323 Mueller did mention it. Read the report again.
3
@SteveDavies01 It was used in the US in the 1960s and 1970s. It's not so much out of place, as out of time.
3
As Trump has fired (by tweet) any member of his cabinet with a shred of ethics, how will the 25th remove him?
3
Was Carlson dropped on his head as a child? I'm not implying anything, just asking a question.
3
Or people like me, who would die if I were accidentally given this drug. It would cause my red blood cells to rupture, and I couldn't carry oxygen to the cells of my body and brain. It is also bad for people with heart or liver disease. I wish he'd fixate on one of the more harmless anti-virals instead.
3
It's not under patent, it is a generic. A lot of companies manufacture it, he only has stocks in one.
3
Maybe he wanted to make the talk show circuit in person, not by zoom. The talk shows just opened up in New York this week.
3
Schitzel with butter?!? Not margarine? Not kosher.
2
@scrawny2329 He's not a Democrat. OK? He really is a socialist. He wants the state to control banks, factories and transportation. Real Democrats aren't socialists.
2
I'm going to fill out and return my ballot as soon as I get it. They will mail them out in about ten days.
2
I grew up in Southern California, where the leaves did not fall down in autumn. For, me, autumn was when the Santa Anas blew, and there were wildfires. We might as well call the season, burn, because that's when the trees burn up. Stop being so parochial.
2
Nah, moderates just know the GND will do very little to address climate change, and is just social engineering in disguise. A much better plan is what Canada did, institute a carbon tax. It really attacks the problem, and costs the taxpayers less.
2
I loved him in Encino Man. But, maybe because it made me so nostalgic for the SF Valley.
2
No Jew is originally from Europe.
2
@psychoblack1411 Sure, you can become Jewish, but that involves being adopted into the tribe. Genetic tests show Jews are a distinct people, if not a race, at least a racial group.
2
John California schools were never segregated. Try again.
2
@Stealin_Texas Clinton lied in answer to a question that should not have been asked, that had nothing to do with the matter he was giving a deposition for.
2
love layne Really? It was Democratic presidents that got us into Viet Nam, and a Republican that got us out. History proves you wrong.
2
The Electoral College doesn't just pervert the vote, it suppresses it as well. Over the years I've been told by several dozen people they aren't bothering to vote because they live in a solid blue or red state, and their vote won't matter. The president should be elected by a direct vote, the reason for the Electoral College (slavery) no longer exists.
2
זה לא חשוב. בישראל, זה שניצל.
2
That sinking feeling, when your first leg arrives late, your second flight is on the other side of the airport, and you realize you've got 12 minutes to run under the runway in that weird lighted passage.
2
The question is, why would he be cooking unclean food?
2
Also a Portlander, still upset that the rioters burned down Chabad, and destroyed so much that made this city beautiful. Nobody ever claimed that our city was burned to the ground, but an awful lot was destroyed, like the elk, for no good reason. And we did have to put up with the riots, every night, for months.
2
If you're in the west (PDT), the east coast is 3 hours ahead of you. So it actually gets uploaded an hour after airing there.
2
@jzilla1234 He apologizes for something that never happens? How weird.
2
@jzilla1234 When you make Israel live up to standards, that you never hold the people attacking her to, you're being a racist. When you claim Arabs have a right to the Jewish homeland, when they already have 70%, in the form of Jordan, you're a racist. From everything you've written, you don't give a damn about human rights, you just want an excuse for your racism.
2
Nah, it's a jerk line, uttered by an egotistical jerk, who can't stand not being the center of attention. I'd rather have heard more about Ramis. z"l
2
I made it through the first episode, hoping it might improve. But, five minutes into the second, I realized the humor could only appeal to a 7 or 8 year old boy, and it was only going to get worse. I usually like Meyers, but this was unbearably bad.
2
Origami Mambo Project The problem with online voting is, in order to assure security you have to give up secrecy. With mail in voting, you get both security and secrecy.
2
Why, when monopolies are discussed, are the cable companies never mentioned? There are only two of them, and in any particular territory, only one is operating. In most of the country, where no fiber-optic line is, the only cable company is the only choice, if you need a quick ISP. And their prices are obscene. Why haven't the cable companies been broken up?
2
It's legal all the way along the Pacific Coast. Washington and Oregon went legal before Canada or California, so friend came down from BC and up from California to buy.
2
He probably tried to burn a document in the fireplace, but didn't realize he had to open the flue, and filled the room with smoke.
2
@lifanovl Thank you Krusty.
2
Come on Seth, Ben Franklin wasn't just an inventor, he well known to be a philanderer, who took air baths daily. In other words, he sat on his balcony in his birthday suit. In his day, he was quite the revolutionary, literally.
2
He'll only lose the perks of the job, if he is removed nunc pro tunc or in other words, retroactively. The Senate can do that.
2
Schnitzel means different thing to a German and an Israeli. Go into an Israeli supermarket, and what they sell as schnitzel, in the meat case, is finely sliced chicken breast.
2
Perhaps not a time or age limit, but a competency requirement. Pilots have to pass a physical and mental exam to keep their licences, why not a yearly mental exam for justices?
2
It's hard to suppress the vote when people can vote by mail.
2
So, I was watching the clip of MTG speaking at a town hall, thinking what sort of uncouth lout speaks at a public forum in short shorts, when she started talking about hypothetical communities that have statues of Hitler and Satan. I do believe, that our girl Marjorie has been watching horror movies, thinking they are documentaries. It would explain a lot.
2
@jasonbailey2493 A lot of smart people speak rapidly. Our tongues have a hard time keeping up with our brains.
2
He has never done a single thing for anyone but himself. The only bills he has sponsored, in his lifetime in Congress, have been to raise his own salary, and rename a post office.
2
Gee, who knew that libel and slander isn't protected as a free speech? Like, maybe everyone who stayed awake during civics class in high school. What a shame, "You'd have to be crazy to believe my client", isn't turning out to be a valid defense.
2
Gee, I'd heard of electrolytes long before sports drinks went on the market. Maybe that's because I worked in a medical lab, from the age of 14, and we tested people to see if their electrolyte balance was out of whack. When someone has severe vomiting and diarrhea, you give them electrolytes. Also, anyone who has ever exerted themselves in hot weather, knows just drinking water is not enough, you need some salt. The only thing wrong with sports drinks is the massive amount of sugar most contain.
2
I had a brother like that. My children and I hated it when he drunk dialed us. It got so bad, we just wouldn't answer when he called.
2
Well, Jodie, it's rather like that here in Oregon. We get our voter's information pamphlet and our ballot in the mail. Also for weeks, we get postcards, letters and brochures entreating us to vote a certain way, but those go right into the recycling bin. (My daughters used to tease me for going through the voter's pamphlet like I'm cramming for an exam, but now they do the same.) We then fill out the ballot, sign the envelope, and pop it in the mail.
2
@jamedraa8472 My mother was out watering, hose in hand, and they kept pestering her. I think you know what she did next. My son-in-law was raised JW. After exposure to a few Jewish holidays, Sukkot, Pesach, Purim, he quit. He never converted to Judaism. but he and my daughter are keeping a Jewish home, and the holidays he now loves. People need holidays, and all the frivolous decorations and rituals.
2
@mparstrikesback Actually, she did have an opponent. But, he had to quit, because her supporters harassed him, and his pregnant wife, so much, his wife filed for divorce and he lost his home. They destroyed his life.
