It's like there's a tongue in cheek recommendations from government and schools telling parents to do more outdoor activities for the kids. But subliminally do otherwise- they push the kids to tuition centres after school periods. Tuition centres is big business in Singapore!

@Kneedragon1962 Our problem right now in my country is that fab work were look down by the present generation as somewhat a 3D kind of job- Dangerous, Dirty and Demeaning.

Correct me if Im wrong, I work in a wafer fab company. We converted our tool(s) hard disk with dual or triple bay RAIDS as mirror and backups. The vendor who has done that told us that a 2.5HDD performance is better than an SDD in terms of durability and memory retention. Is that a valid statement?

@allergischaufdasrontgen7644 x70 and x50 is copied from Geely. No originality. Certain parts are SKD from China.

If they are still using high-pressure gases, there will be a high risk of gas leaks due to corrosion and chokage. Nowadays , we are using SDS bottles to be lesser risk for leaks. We experienced gas explosion using high-pressure bottles 20 years back. My ex colleague was changing Arsine bottle and mistakenly cracked the pigtail line of a phosphine bottle without closing the stem valve. Fab evacuation and thorough safety investigation follows.

Some Filipinos have migrated. Case in point: A Psychology Doctor's parent use to be a slash and burn worker of a Haciendero in Central Philippines. The siblings have the opportunity to migrate to the US back then due to an opportunity to get thru the US Navy. Other siblings were able to migrate due to US visa petition program. And that Haciendero look down bad on his workers not even helping them to alleviate them from poverty from giving them chance to study or giving them portion of his land to till as their own!

I'm still working in implant for more than 20 yrs. So numerous fab evacuation alarm experiences we have encountered. Imagine a dummy wafer can emit outgassing residues that can trigger fab alarm if those dummy wafers are not replaced in a recommended period of time.
2
Go apply online on any US based fab. Hiring is high right now!
2
This product use SOI wafers. It's hard and expensive to produce base on my experience at implant. The wafers sometimes "jump" due to charging effect and thickness compared to normal wafers.

This videoblog is brought to you by Huawei!
1
Shouldn't that be an issue? At present TSMC is making fab in Arizona, Samsung in Texas and Congress pass a law with regards to wafer fab manufacturing?
1
Is this the same Recruit job placement magazines that we were able to freely pick up at HK MRT stations during the 1990s? If I recall , it's called Recruit Asia.

Why you didn't continue the joke?
1
@fjalics Could be not cost effective, that is why management didn't care to maintain our tools with UPS. Some more, battery back ups are some more a fire hazard if not maintained or contained effectively.
1
@jtgd Sarcasm?
1
