  7.  @stucrossland3719  You don't know if what you are being told is the truth. So you cross check. What are other sources saying. Is what you are being told logical, likely, or even possible. What are the likely motives. In the end you sometimes idenfy sources that seem more reliable, or less reliable. For instance, I've found the Russian MoD (spokesman Igor) to be particularly unreliable. I guess he's performing for a domestic audience who have few ways of verifying what he says. View everthing with initial scepticism.

  11.  @pwatom22  I have to agree with you. Countries such as Germany did their best to welcome Russia (think Nordstream pipelines). But Putin wanted to be more "important" than that (or maybe just richer). And it appears his fantasies of a greater Russia, created by "Vlad the Great", got the better of him. Very sad, but he has to be stopped or this will go on and on.

There's np point in saying "Ukraine agreed to be neutral" if you're going to overlook that Russia agreed to respect Ukraine's sovereignty but kept interfering in Ukraine. If Russia had respected Ukraine's sovereignty, Ukraine would not have needed to look to NATO. And you're wrong when you say Ukraine never owned any nukes. Ukraine, like Russia, never owned any nukes until 1991 when the Soviet Union broke up. However, in 1994 Ukraine agreed to hand over its nukes in return for guarantees from Russia. So for 3-4 years Ukraine did own nukes and you're lying about it. But as you say, you are "prepared to overlook the facts and go with fiction" You are the joke.

  24. What? You knew Putin wanted to take over half of Europe? You must know that if countries want to be safe from that invasion they would need to join NATO. Or are you blinded by Russian propaganda? It is Putin who has caused NATO to encroach on Russia's borders. If Pootin had been prepared to behave like any other civilised nation, other countries would not have needed to request to join NATO. Look at the examples of Sweden and Finland.

I cringed when, discussing Himars, your man said he understood "one" had been used to hit the Kherson bridge. Anyone who has been watching events (like I would have hoped your interviewer would), knows that at least 12, if not 18, Himars rockets have hit the bridge.
