  4.  @GSP-76  She's not running for re-election. She has said she will stay in the race all the way to the convention. No poll shows her viable anywhere. How much more evidence do you need that she is not secretly trying to help Bernie? I remember her defending Biden on busing and Iraq, but I don't remember hearing her praise Bernie for being right on Iraq this year.

  17.  @jackhammer3423  If you have to pay or tax time off work to get it, it is absolutely a poll tax. If you allow someone to use a more exhaustive list including things like a lease, mortgage payment book, tax records, utility bills, etc., that is fine. In my adopted home state, when they pushed this law ten years ago (in the words of the then-House Majority Leader, so Romney could win the state), it was estimated that 9% of adults statewide and 18% in Philadelphia didn't have an acceptable ID... all to prevent something that they admitted they couldn't find any examples of. Oh, and the most cruel provision of the law? Even disabled voters who were homebound were expected to go to the courthouse to show their ID in order to vote absentee. Do you agree with that?

If facts really mattered to him, once literally everything Sam said in the 2016 debate turned out to be true and everything Jimmy said turned out to be false, he would have apologized for misreading the situation.

  27. I saw a few Dore videos during the 2016 primary, but as soon as I heard him utter the line that we would be better off with Trump than Hillary, I knew that this was either someone very stupid or very deceitful, and I didn't want to waste any more of my time on him.

Then again, I'd also argue that if you're rich enough for your parents to be able to afford a fancy birthing suite with a round-the-clock doctor on call and won't get kicked out of the hospital in a hurry after the birth, isn't that an example of the inequality kicking in before you get here?

Looking at his health and family history, there is a chance that he probably extended his life by running, but people close to him said that he refused to go to a doctor when he experienced what were in retrospect warning signs. Less likely is not impossible, and that was his fatal mistake.

  44.  @murphyjanitorial  Democrats lost two seats in the Senate. He clearly did not get that right. Now, we are in a position where we have to hope and pray Ruth Bader Ginsburg makes through the next two years so Moscow Donald doesn't get to push SCOTUS even farther to the right, and never mind the fact that these are people who could be on the bench for 20, 30, even 40 years if their health holds up that long.

  46.  @s4njuro462  Weeks before he died, he prefaced a segment on the Robinson-Greenwald debate by bending over backwards to say what good people Rising were. I admit that I fell for their grift in the beginning and ignored some of the warning signs, although I thought their defense of Yang and Tulsi were concerning. The veil was fully lifted after the primary for me. While it took Michael Brooks a long time to realize when someone was a grifter, once he saw it, he was very forceful in calling them out almost like penance. This may have been his last straw, though.
