Debra Seitz No, this is the American right.

@frankk8905 Yeah, well, people can feel whatever they want, but my position is based in research and data. A friend from work was "hesitant," and she got coronavirus. As soon as she was allowed, she got the vaccine, because she didn't want to get it a second time. My uncle said that he didn't want to "be a Guinea pig," and now he has it. And HIPAA has nothing to do with telling others what medical procedures you have had. It is about medical providers not telling others your medical history.

Biden will restore democracy and have a real and effective response to coronavirus.
3
Who is the guest? I haven't seen her before, but she has some good takes.
3
Doncha know that racism has been solved, and the worst thing you can do is call a bigot a raciat?
3
@shannonbloom4133 By that logic, black people were literally owned by strangers for 250 years in this country, so no black man should have ever been elected. Maybe waffling on the most important issue in the election and having horrible political judgment did her in far more.
3
Well, he did cheer them on when they stormed the Capitol.
3
@suezbell1 They do the real cashing in after they leave. That's what made Hillary's corporate speeches so controversial.
3
@iolitelight If the rest of the world had their way, he'd already be in jail.
3
@asazianonabsurdity The question is not more or less government, but about the role of government. If you think the only role of government in economics is enforcing contracts and property rights (since a subset of the right is property rights uber alles), that is the government intervening to benefit those who already have the power. If you're going to use talking points, at least use honest ones.
3
As long as their instigator is still out there stirring stuff, they're still a threat.
3
How is this racist? Anyone who uses it gets suspended. If you want to complain that these rules are unfair, that is an argument to have, but the rules are there.
3
He had better writers.
3
Not if it gives Republicans control of the Senate. Do you want McConnell and Graham to block any and all judges?
3
@stevencorey1278 While governor, Romney signed an individual mandate with subsidy that was the basis for the ACA. The proof? Several people who worked on the 2006 MA bill worked on the ACA. I could also point to the Heritage Foundation paper from 1989 advocating for the individual mandate.
3
@stevencorey1278 It's not called Obamacare, it is called the Affordable Care Act. Tell me the substantive difference between the two. As far as "social plans not working," well, considering that we pay the most and get the least of any industrialized country, many of which have either single payer (Canada) or fully nationalized medicine (UK), your blanket statement is just as flimsy as your argument by what opponents call something.
3
Kidnapping, instruction of justice, witness tampering, bribery for starters.
3
@chrisjackson5075 Yeah, no one can find anything, but multiple people have. Is dishonesty a requirement for defending Trump?
3
I love that Trump is wasting his money instead of trying to actually win people over.

"I don't wish Trump death. I wish him a lengthy recovery." Michael Che

He might not be great, but he was still better than Cruz. Just because he shouldn't be President doesn't mean he shouldn't be a Senator, either. I would never vote for Joe Manchin for President, but I sure defended his re-election effort after the primary was over.
3
Well, stupid is forever, but I don't think that works the way you think it does.
3
Emma, are you now prepared to admit that second place in this record is least bad? Also, Warren has been caught lying repeatedly. Why cling to the idea that she just misconstrued what he said. My guess? She asked if Trump would use her gender against her, and Bernie said yes, just like Trump would use everything that he thought he could to fight anyone who won the nomination.
3
@thomass5169 When I had the flu, I stayed home so other people wouldn't get sick.
3
The things that Der Orangefuhrer admitted to are literally crimes.
3
@nicolemccoy3436 Define "numerous." [citation needed]
3
Not necessarily the rest of our lives, just until Republicans abandon fascism and actively hurting people and killing the planet. If that lasts the rest of our lives, so be it.
3
@CuriousKay-d7t It's possible, but deep down, these people know how bad it looks when someone not from a friendly media source asks about January 6th, so it was probably a mixture of the two.
3
If a company wants to close for any reason or none at all, that's their right. If it's the only restaurant at a rest stop, then you can say not to renew the contract, but if a Jewish deli wants to close on Saturday (a grocery store I worked at had a contract with a company ran by Seventh-day Adventists, and they refused to make deliveries on Saturdays) or a Hilal restaurant wanted to close on Friday, I'd have no problem with that.
3
Only if enough of them get in that it splits their votes and keeps them below 15%.

@ArtemisMS That's the thing. She doesn't like politics. As you have said (and I agree), she is at her best holding crooked CEOs to task in committees. The best place for someone like that is the US Senate. I have run for office myself (2006 WV House of Delegates: won the primary unopposed, lost the general). I tried my hand at academia (but my difficulties with foreign languages halted my PhD progress), and I am more introverted, and I can tell you that it was an effort for me to knock on doors sometimes. The only person to win the White House who I can think of in modern times who was uncomfortable on the campaign trail is Nixon. She may surprise me by finding a reserve that didn't seem to exist after reading her memoirs, but something is to be said for having the courage to fight when no one else would.

His work on the coronavirus bill cut child poverty in half. You're welcome.
3
Increasing the minimum wage has far and away been the most popular ballot initiative in the United States. It has never lost, even in places like Florida where it takes 60% for ballot initiatives to pass. I seriously wish that someone would point that out to anyone who insists that this isn't popular.
3
She's not pretty, she has a good plastic surgeon.
3
The woman who has spent most of the last year sucking up to the hosts of Fox, initially applauded leaving Kurds to the slaughter, and between $50MM lawsuits managed to find time to make it back to Washington to vote No for Cowards on impeachment? Hard pass.
3
The stock market has been in a bubble for a long time. By late 2017, the S&P 500 had a higher price to earnings ratio than during the dotcom period. All Trump has been doing is making the bubble bigger. Mnuchin mentioned 20% unemployment. I guess Tommy Douglas was right with his cream separator analogy: a recession is when the rich get indigestion and cut off the skim milk.
3
Never forget that Andrew Yang responded to a hate crime in 2018 by lamenting the notion of America becoming majority nonwhite and pitching his Freedom with 125 Strings Attached Dividend.

@johnsonmax9865 Okay, let's look at red state data. My brother and his girlfriend both refused to get vaccinated and got it in West Virginia. They tested positive, but the hospital refused to test their daughter, despite her showing symptoms. So, there is definitely book cooking in red states. That, and there is also the fact that each wave has a predictable cycle. You sound like these people who insist that things are bad in places like New Zealand or Singapore because they are going up, but you conveniently ignore how low their baseline is as well as how high the baseline is for red state America. By population, the four states with the highest percentage of positive cases in the last two weeks votes for Trump. So, look a little deeper.

As I've noted many times when friends ask why I prefer liberal (it was good enough for FDR, so it's good enough for me), I have heard Hillary call herself a progressive many times, but I have never heard her call herself a liberal. Klobuchar is reinforcing that.
3
While first I'd like to make sure that we get enough hires because we've been on a skeleton crews for a while now, and I just don't want to be expected to do even more.
3
Actually, Bernie has fought for those things for over 50 years.
3
The results are legit, but most of the Bernie strongholds have the most precincts remaining. There is a reason why no one is putting a checkmark behind Mayor Cheat's name.
3
I'm late Generation X, but I spent a long time in grad school. If my student loans get ripped up, I could start saving for a house. There are a lot of people who can't buy a house because of their loans, so imagine the work that would be available if there were more people who could buy houses instead of being shackled by student loans into our 30s and 40s.
3
Yang has a pretty lengthy history of sucking up to the worst people. The day of the Tree of Life shooting, he responded by tweeting how bad it was that the country was going to be majority nonwhite within 27 years of the shooting. The only reason why Tulsi Gabbard hasn't had as toxic an influence on American culture as he has the last few years is that her followers haven't been nearly as vocal lately.
3
@jamiechorley1674 Context doesn't help. Yes, there are degrees, but the guy who compared a black neighborhood to Planet of the Apes doesn't get bailed out by context.
3
How dare you! Did you know that John McCain was her father?
3
@f_youtubecensorshipf_nazis I think her cousin Melissa has definitely proven to be the best member of the family.
3
@supertech20002 Congress doesn't get Secret Service protection.
3
@jameswest9388 So, it's "level headed" to have a more expensive plan to not cover everyone all to prop up a middleman? As far as "problems universal care systems around the world experience," what are those? Do you think America has better plans than all those others?

She managed to graduate from high school, so Boebert may be dumber.
