Many civil rights supporters in the past carried the flag saying that America is built on the idea of equality, and we should honor the country and flag by pushing for civil rights. Kaepernick is taking a piss on the flag which is him basically saying that the ideas of America is the problem as opposed to the practices.

  5. Ryne Green, corporations have to understand law, finances, working with others, competition, etc. There is a lot to running a corporation a lot more than just making money. There is a lot of overlap in running a nation and running a corporation.

  19. Julian N, these amendments are supposed to be hard lines so that no one can move the goal posts on issues. On gun laws we have laws that we agree fit within the 2nd amendment. Without the 2nd amendment you set the grounds for a gun ban.

  34. Here is the issue on the "facts" argument. Anyone can present facts and statistics in numerous ways. They can be deceptive about it. Kyle does it all the time. When you start to break the facts down that is where the political right excels and the political left becomes emotional. We saw that with Bernie where he was pushed into a corner on how he will have to raise taxes on everyone. He became emotional and said that in doing so everyone would have healthcare and college education. No mention of quality, the complexity of it, how it would actually work, he just went on an emotion rant and then cited a popularity poll. Now does that make Bernie wrong? It does on the idea that he is not presenting all that needs to be presented. But doesn't on the idea that yes, we should push for a system where almost everyone, if not everyone has access to high quality healthcare. We should push for a system where anyone who wants to better themselves through education they can. That is something people can be passionate about and the Bernie crowd is. But the rational side on the political right becomes the voice of reason in how to do it at that point.

There are arguments against it such as if someone is good why remove them. But there are strong arguments for it. I support term limits for the Senate as the Senate, in my opinion, has more power and less turnover where the house has more turnover and represents the people more.

I fact checked Kyle a lot in his debate against Razorfish and I found many times he was factually wrong. If you bring a "fact checker" Kyle would look like a fool. That is why Kyle refuses to debate Shapiro and Steven as he knows he will be destroyed.
