Yeah, look at how vicious this dog clearly is...
1
@Beccy102 Putting words in other people's mouths does nothing to prove your point. If anything it has the opposite effect, as its plain to see that you're inventing scenarios.
1
Just the one?!
1
This is why I can't believe ACAB. I do believe it's a job that attracts petty, vicious people who like power. BUT it also attracts people with hearts, people who want to help protect the innocent and this guy here is a perfect example.
1
I hope that, in the fullness of time, that this man will continue to find purpose and his own peace of mind by fostering.
1
@bunny3311 No, that's not how prison works. Because if you banned a breed of dog, they wouldn't all be put in prison. They'd be killed. If we did that among humans, it'd be called genocide.
1
@Celtic Warlock You can define it however you want. I'm just letting you know how the term gets used by different people.
1
@rawjan39 If your aim is to inform people, then you need to work on your tone. If you just want to show off your knowledge, you need to understand that no-one else cares.
1
@rawjan39 Actually, I think you're just an arsehole and this is how you get your jollies.
1
You might be ignorant of names in other cultures outside your own but that doesn't mean we've all got to indulge you.
1
Staffys tend to be absolute units!
1
Fosterers have been doing this for decades. Clearly it's not more traumatising as we can see from the enormous amount of dogs that have been found new homes where they've thrived.
1
Good luck working through your personality issues.
1
@michaeljones1133 You can set a dog as your profile image but you're still an arsehole.
1
There's no need to. They're safe and fed.
1
@honestlyidkanymoretspmo Really? Stalin died in 1953.
1
If it's a recurring thing, then you are the common factor and it's probably something you're doing/saying. Just like this comment!
1
Ma'am, you have a heart of gold. Thank you for giving him everything he needs.
1
@hugostiglitz2388 You sound a bit basic, if you don't mind me saying so. Like you're not very good at thinking for yourself. You just hear an opinion, look at a couple of stats and from that point on you're unable to consider any other angle. Your research game ain't great either, it seems like you mash several different stories together to try and make them sound worse. Maybe stop trawling dog attack vids like a sick child and start thinking about the sort of channels that upload that content. It's almost like the problem is man-made...
1
@hugostiglitz2388 But we don't hear that each time though. There's a reason that pits make up a high percentage of recorded dog attacks in certain cultures, a few reasons actually. When taking these into consideration, it's actually not hard at all to assess the risk factor of a specific individual. You're ignoring evidence placed before you and fibbing to support your own bias. No-one should take you seriously.
1
@hugostiglitz2388 Oh, the irony of making that comment on a channel full of evidence contrary to the stance you are taking...
1
Bloody hell, you're sensitive.
1
... would you rather these animals were left in the shelters to be euthanized?
1
@Ken-nv2hl What evidence? Your anecdote? That's not gonna wash when there's so much documented evidence to the contrary.
1
@jowhite4048 Every animal is native to somewhere, how do you make the distinction?
1
If that's the truth, provide your evidence.
1
@rawjan39 You're a sick, sad loser. Get a better hobby. Maybe take a leaf from the people in these videos and devote yourself to actually helping animals rather than fetishising "purebreeds".
1
Not gonna lie, cat on a motorcycle terrifies me. But, like he said, can't make a cat do what it don't wanna do.
1
@keythdanielsen9315 But apparently it's long enough for you to declare them a dangerous killer. Is there anything you do that you DON'T accuse other people of?
1
I don't want to lump all breeders together, I'm sure many are ethical and compassionate, I just feel like dog breeding needs far greater oversight. Euthanising a puppy simply because of a cleft palate is atrocious. We know full well that a cleft pup can grow up healthy and live a happy life with the right care.
1
Yes, the entire thing was staged... /s
1
Give it a try yourself. Go volunteer, help out with some rescues and spend some time actually getting hands on. Might change your mind.
1
Wonderful work that this woman and her partner have done. All that said, I felt bad for Roadie when Lexie was getting all these toys. Roadie just looked a bit disappointed.
1
@brittanym2725 They basically are, that's just how it works. Same with humans, the more diverse our ancestry the less likely we are to develop genetic disorders and health conditions.
1
@NoYoutubeName1 It's so ironic that you called someone else emotionally stunted, void and a pretentious twat who thinks they're smart, while making the comment that you did.... do you do much self-reflection? Could be worthwhile.
1
@jjradV Interestingly enough, kinda. I'm pescetarian and my ex-partner was vegan. The beautiful staff, he was an omnivore through and through. He wanted whatever we had... I would say no, my ex would say yes, that's the main reason he loved her more! But he would also get proper meat as necessary, for his health.
1
@Chipwhitley274 You're not fooling anyone. Accept your mistake and grow from it.
1
@Chipwhitley274 Yeah, it's really simple and goes like this. You said a dumb, shitty thing. You got called out. You freaked out in a futile attempt to deflect any criticism. You looked stupid in doing so. You failed. If you disagree, feel free to try and articulate how they were wrong and you were right. But we both know you can't.
1
@minh-tampham728 Then you need to watch more Dodo videos, then you'd see so many cases of people having multiple dogs and children all in the same family. You'd see that many dogs actually thrive with other canine companionship. You're sole experience looking after a dog hasn't made you the expert you act like.
1
@shlomoshekelbergstein4523 These "dog men" are monstrous and should be stopped. If they've got that much of a hard-on for competing like that, they should start playing Pokemon.
1
@Karen Beverly Back under your bridge, Karen.
1
@rawjan39 It's 'cos no-one fuckin' cares. Breeders like you are scum.
1
@paulinadeluca9117 I'd be more interested in the fact that your account is clearly a fake. You're presenting a fake persona and then going to argue with people about pitbulls so what's your angle?
1
You and Pirate have done amazing, we're all behind you!
1
It's stories like the second one that really fuel my hatred of breeders. Stop abusing animals like they're our playthings!
1
I'm gonna get slightly political here but it's relevant. The lady said that animals (cats and dogs) not just getting on but developing such a strong bond should be an example for humans of how we can all get on. And she's absolutely right! Many people assume dogs and cats just can't get on, that a dog will always chase a cat and maybe worse, if it got the chance. But what we have seen, time and again, in Dodo videos is that when animals know that they don't have to compete for food, shelter, safety or love then they have no reason for any fear or hostility. This has been proven numerous times. So if we look at humans, all of our fear about matters like immigration and multiculturalism are driven largely by those concerns regarding competition. Fear that others coming in means that we have to go without, that we'll lose out. Cynical politicians use this to drive wedges between people and keep them distracted. But the truth is that we could make sure everyone is provided for. Make sure that no-one is missing out and what have people got to fight over? We could achieve this, if it wasn't for a tiny minority of people somehow amassing the vast majority of resources and insisting that it's fair...
1
I'm... your mum?
1
@malab12 Another no-good pedigree purist. You're very transparent, it's clear that you don't really care about the dogs themselves. It's just about the brand and the exclusivity to you. That makes you part of the problem.
1
I really don't agree with the course of action the human took. If you have no choice but to surrender your dog then there's better ways to do it. That said... while he's a PoS for doing it the way he did, he's not a total monster. I don't think so, anyway. It's hard to be sure, maybe I'm reading into it, but his body language seems reluctant. And the whole taking a photo thing does suggest that this might be something that someone else is making or pressuring him into doing.
1
@kevinhickok3417 Oh buddy, that's an awfully naive and stupidly idealistic view. I think you must be pretty sheltered in your understanding of how horrifically cruel humans can be.
