  2. One does not have to be a "Doctor" or "Nutritionist" to be knowledgeable on a health-related topic ... actually it's more likely to be the opposite. Conventional doctors are taught very little (if any) nutrition in their education, and conventional nutritionists are taught to follow guidelines of BIG Food and government agencies such as USDA and FDA; who in turn work in compliance with BIG Pharma. This is precisely why optimal health in this country is rare.

I've been following her for nearly 15 years, and she continues to bring so much critical information to light and has helped so many. IMO, the last half of the interview was the most compelling.

Deanna is a great guest who speaks intelligently and eloquently; yet easy to understand for the amateur.   18. It's very obvious your body is rejecting this new implant - it happens sometimes, and especially with the typical titanium implants most conventional dentists use. You could be allergic to the metal. Zirconia implants are made from ceramic and much less likely to be problematic.

  19. GREAT interview with Shawn Dhru, and love how you both interact with one another :) This is the 3rd time I've listened to Shawn, and really like his ideas on health and nutrition .... FOOD first, and throw in some critical supplements like DHA (Omega 3's), Vitamin C sources like Camu-Camu, Amla Berry, and MAGNESIUM in the right form - depending on your situation. Thank you both :)

  22. INCREDIBLE interview! Even though I was short on time, Dr. Lustig's slow, clear and concise knowledge and information drew me in. One topic I felt he was not very clear on: YOGURT. I understand we need to stay away from the sweetened varieties and opt for the unsweetened, but it seems as though the subject of Yogurt was not quite finished. Also he mentioned VEGAN MEATS and didn't say whether they were "bad" or "good". VEGAN MEAT is typically one of the most processed things around - not to mention GMO-laden, so his answer should have been an absolute "NO".

  23. LOVE Chris Kresser's approach to nutrition - a balance of animal and plant foods (different for each individual). He speaks very sensibly about nutrition which is refreshing. Interesting information on the RDA history and Immune system and sensitivities. Although I checked his new supplement line ... the multi has impressive ingredients, but not liking the stearates, cellulose and silicon dioxide as fillers. As usual, great questions from Dhru. Thank you for a great interview!

  27. Dhru; your Guest offers some good information (much of it already known to some), but speaks too quickly; sometimes difficult to follow and not very thorough ... No mention of how critical K2 supplementation is NO MATTER how much Vit D you're taking.

"Old cancers" are returning after the Covid "vaccine" rollout because these injections lower the immune system each time you get one, AND there have been numerous studies done they are causing "Turbo Cancers", among many other health conditions. You will not find this information on conventional websites. Look into Dr. McCullough, Dr. Makis and Naomi Wolf, among others. Stay well.

Some good tips, but not very impressed ... the Dr. clearly does not understand how insanely-processed seed oils are, and IMO feel his nutritional knowledge is limited and more based on conventional nutrition. The data and studies he mentions are most likely from conventional sources which have a tendency to be very skewed. No mention of the importance of organics, the additives and toxic chemicals in our food, etc. which lead to weight gain. Obesogenics are REAL. And I just have to say that posture and obvious weight of the Dr. says a lot too.

  31. You may be allergic to the metals used for the implant. Most dentists use Titanium; however Zirconia is non-metal and used more by Biological dentists. It's always best to have a metal test done before using Titanium. It sounds like your body is rejecting the implant, so I would heed the warning - you don't want to end up with more health issues down the line. Search "Dick Van Dyke and implants"; although his was extreme. Good luck to you :)

  32. This Dr obviously does not understand how nutrient-deficient our soil has become due to industrial farming, pesticides, toxins like glyphosate, etc. which has negatively impacted our food. She is saying supplements are not necessary, and this is not true for the majority of people .... UNLESS perhaps you are growing all of your own food in nutrient-rich soil!

My QUESTION: How important is it to know the oral health of someone before you kiss? It took me a long time to recover from oral health issues and I have been "clean" for years; however what about a new partner?

  47. I'm assuming you mean Calley Means as "the one". At least IMO, he seemed totally against it (as I am), and recommended what I believe is the only answer: re-vamping our broken food system - staying away from inflammatory food (nearly all conventional and fast food). THIS is the answer, not another BIG Pharma drug that has lasting side effects.

  50. Great interview! Dr. Bill Harris is very humble and explains things well. I did the OmegaQuant testing via LE and was near optimal. I eat Wild fish (Sockeye salmon mostly), some mackarel, sardines and occasionally skipjack tuna and albacore. In addition, I take Krill Oil on occasion when I don't have a meal with fish or a minimal amount. I've been doing this for nearly a decade now (I'm 66). I feel this is one less thing for me to worry about when it comes to my health :)
